Kaylee carried her brother through the forest, her hurting legs taking her slowly through the forest. She kept glancing over her shoulders, hoping she wouldn't come across the vampires that her mother had talked about. She carried her brothe as he cried, she was scared incase the vampires heard him. She then spotted shadows in the distance, to scared to check for their auras she simply screamed for help. "Please! Somebody help me!" She screamed as she ran forward, towards the two shadows. When she got closer to them she felt their aura and she tried to stop herself but she slipped and her brother falling on top of her winded her. She looked up at the vampires and felt her heart pound her chest.

Isaac looked down upon the girl and her brother, he could smell her fear, feel her rapid pulse. Though he didn't move, his hands stayed shoved deeply into his jean pockets as he watched her, his posture was quite casual and relaxed. He had been a vampire for quite sometime, it was rare that the sight or smell of blood threw him into bloodlust, though it did cause his pupils to become close to pin point, only for a few seconds.

He took in a deep breath, enjoying the sweet smell of their blood, finally a smile turned up the corners of his mouth, this turned to a smirk. "I'm not sure you ran in the correct direction for help." He chuckled, his eyes flicking to Rose, a warning seemed to hide behind them. He knelt down slowly removing his hands from his pockets, he looked her in her eyes now, his emerald eyes were quite entrancing. "I heard the crash, are you injured or is it just him?" He pointed then waited quietly for an answer.

Kaylee looked at the smirk that had stretched across the man's face and her heart started to pound. "If I remember correctly the town is in this direction." She responded. "The road just curves a lot driving into Ravenswood." He then got down at eye level and looked her in the eyes, his eyes were an excellent emerald colour and Kaylee wondered if he was attempting to glamour a telepath. "If you're trying to glamour me, it won't work." She then looked at her brother and placed her hand on his head and checked he was okay. "No, we're both fine." She told the vampire, focusing her magic on creating a solid construct between them, the telekinetic barrier caused a slight blurring in vision but it eventually settled as the rest of the shield was put in place.

"I'm not trying to do anything to you." Isaac let out a soft chuckle when he saw his vision blur then clear once more. "I'm not going to attack you, either." He said before he stood up, holding a hand down to her, his fingertips just touched the barrier causing it to blur slightly again, "You're headed to Ravenswood?" He asked then another bit of a smirk lit up his face before his expression became solemn. His emerald eyes fell upon her again, his expression still soft, blank even. "I can show you." He still had his hand extended out toward her, "I'll carry your brother there, if you'd like." He offered before looking away, toward the lake.

This night had been so routine, until the mage had shown up, then the vampire, and now this witch. Another chuckle came over his lips at this. It was a nice change, much better than staring out over the lake until the sunrise. He brought his eyes back to her once more, "Is there anyone else with you?" He asked before looking over her shoulder toward the road where the crash had been.

"And how can I be sure?" Kaylee replied, her tone sincere and worried. "I may believe you, but for my brother's sake, I'm not taking this barrier down." She looked to her young brother and lifted herself up before picking him back up off the ground. "We were until our mum's car crashed, I think she's still trapped." She looked over her shoulder and held back a tear as she thought of her mother dying. "Our dad's still there too." She looked back at the vampire and she sighed, "Please, take him to this address," she handed him a bit of paper with her aunt's address and handed her brother over, the barrier wrapping around him as she shifted the shield to surround him. "Please hurry." She then made her way back to the crash site and her mother was still trapped in the car. "Mum! Where's dad?"
"Kaylee, no!" Her mum yelled but it was too late and Kaylee was thrown up against a tree, Kaylee looked up and in the moonlight she could make out a huge beast.
"Shit!" She scrambled up and started running.

"You can't." Isaac had smirked when she had asked the question. He had carefully adjusted the boy in his arms when he handed him over and gave a nod when she gave him the address. He had been walking in the opposite direction, toward town, on one of the trails when he heard all the commotion behind him. He sighed and shook his head, "Hang on kid." He muttered before he spun on his heel and took off at a sprint toward the sounds. He dodged trees and jumped over roots and rocks, clutching her brother close to his body. His hood had fallen down once more with his quick pack, allowing the shadows to flee from his face.

He nearly ran into Kaylee when he jumped over a fallen tree, though he managed to put the brakes on in time. "What's going on?" He asked, his eyes a very dark green now, he looked past her, focusing, waiting for the beast. The stench of blood was strong now, almost unbearable, even for him. He shut his eyes a moment, holding his breath, he couldn't focus with that sweet....delicious smell, he could almost taste the blood now, he was so close. Isaac clamped down his jaw, his muscles in his entire being tensing.

"No!" Kaylee shrieked. "Get him out of here!" She cried, before spinning back around to see the beast charging for them again. She then dropped the shield that surrounded her younger brother and focused it on protecting them. "That wolf has our dad," She told Isaac as the wolf battered the near impenetrable force field. "I don't about my mum though." She felt a warm trickle of blood slide down her nose and knew she was using to much of her power, she looked back as Isaac. "I have to drop the shield." She warned him, staggering slightly from the amount of energy it was taking to keep the shield up.

With the last ounce of her energy draining, Kaylee focused it all on the wolf, the field exploding outwards and knocking it away from them. Kaylee fell onto a tree and felt her consciousness slowing slipping away. She steadied herself with the tree and tried her best to stay aware of what was going on, she'd tired herself out far too much and the wolf was coming back.

Isaac watched her, his eyes seemed to widen, when she fell into the tree he had been knocked back a bit too, clutching her brother in his arms. He growled slightly repositioning the boy before he ran over to Kaylee grabbing a hold of her and slinging her over his shoulder, "Hang on!" He said, though his voice was quiet, it was taking everything he had to keep control of himself in this moment. He had a snug hold of her brother now as he sprinted off toward the forest, Kaylee was draped over his other shoulder, his arm wrapped around her legs. It was the best he could think to do with the circumstances. Whether this wolf was her father or not, it didn't matter to him, the danger of the situation was what bothered him, what drove him to play hero. He wasn't usually the type, but everyone has their moments.

Isaac ran for what felt like hours in his mind, the smell of her blood wafting into his nostrils with each inhale he took. Finally he stopped on the deck of a home, setting her down gently first, then setting her brother carefully down next to her, he pulled keys from his pocket and opened the door, this was his home. A large Victorian style three story, all to himself. He looked to her before picking her brother up again, "I'll just be a minute." He said taking her brother in and to the first bedroom on the lower level. He lay the boy on the bed before he headed back out. "Are you hurt? Can you walk alright?" He asked, and without thinking he reached out with an old rag that he had in his pocket and wiped the blood from her nose. He was a bit more relaxed now, though he still seemed a bit on edge. The bitter sweet smell of her blood teased him with each small inhale he took. His emerald eyes were fixed on her, awaiting her answer partly, but the other part of him, the animal, wanted her blood, just a taste.
