Sophia Davenport

Sophia Davenport is not your typical ten year old. She's an elusive child, standing at only four feet and weighing about sixty pounds. She has a thin frame and pale skin. Her eyes are a sky blue color, though they may appear to be grey in some light. She has soft features, with her dull blonde hair cut to shoulder length. If brushed or wet, it will stay straight, but if not, it will have waves or curls in it. Her face is usually fixed with a frown or a curious smile, as if she knows more than you do.

Sophia wears whatever isn't in the wash. Her outfits consist of a typical kid's T-shirts, jeans, and shorts. Most of her shirts are dull blues or pinks. She never wears tank tops though and hates dressing up. Her dresses hang in the back of her closet, some never to be worn.

Sophia Cassandra Davenport was born to her mother and father, Patricia and Norman Davenport. on spring day. Growing up, both of her parents often worked, leaving her to stay at home with a nanny. At the age of six, she began to attend school, where it has been reported that all went well. She had never been a social person, but her parents weren't worried too much. Sophia seemed very advanced in reading and writing skills for her age, though she was horrible at math.

As the years went by, Sophia never gave up her childish ways. She still played with all the same toys she'd had from the age of two. She had everything in her room meticulously set up. Her mother eventually lessened how many hours a day she worked as a secretary for a local business. The added presence seemed to cause Sophia to keep to herself even more. Her father still works an eight hour day though.

Recently, she'd started to see and hear things. Other young girls would talk to her in her dreams, the dolls did all their own actions, and the clock froze when she wanted it to. These so-called hallucinations led her parents to bring her to a doctor, who told them she had dementia. Sophia didn't understand what that meant, but by the look on her parents' faces, it wasn't going to be a pleasant ride for any of them. After taking her home and eating dinner, the family was sitting in their living room. The young girl was building with wooden blocks, when she suddenly began to describe the horrific murder of man who had been killed nearly a year ago.

Her mother fainted as her father rushed and grabbed the phone, calling someone as she kept talking. It was as if she were reading it right from one of her books. She didn't stop until the tale was over, then she lied down and fell asleep. Ever since, she has slowly been telling those who ask and her family both truths and lies from the real world and her imaginative one.
