Hair Colour/Length: Faizel's hair is black and rather dry. It reaches his shoulders in length, and he often wears it pulled back in a tight ponytail at the nape of his neck. He has a slight stubble growing on his chin and jaw most of the time, often being too busy or too lazy (or a combination of both) to shave.
Eye Colour/Shape: Narrow and dark brown.
Skin Colour: A light tan naturally, although it is much darker than its natural colour due to the amount of time Faizel spends out in the sun.
Scars/Tattoos/Piercings/Identifying Markings: A few small, barely noticeable scars on his hands. Tattoos cover Faizel's back. The largest one is of a dragon, and the rest are mostly just random swirls.
Build: Faizel has a small, fairly sturdy build. He is muscular, but short, and over all not quite imposing. Faizel has a rather stern face, rarely ever smiling and mostly just frowning. With raised cheekbones and a slightly pointed jaw, he does have a slightly aristocratic look, however, the callouses on his hands signify that he is anything but. He tends to walk with impeccable posture, however, Faizel almost always is walking with a trace of a limp.

Personality: A very strict, austere man, Faizel is down to earth and doesn't have much time for extra fripperies. He is rather boring for the most part, and rarely ever jokes around. Faizel takes almost everything far too literally, a quirk about him that tends to annoy most people. A major perfectionist, Faizel will only ever settle for the best. He often gets annoyed if something is imperfect, which is both a curse and a blessing. Most of the members of the army absolutely hate him for being so critical about their attacks and defences, but that same picky-ness is what ensures that they train to the best of their ability.

He is certainly a leader, having a sort of commanding aura that makes it difficult for people to disobey him. This is both good and bad; good because he can rely on people to carry out his decisions and bad because his decisions are occasionally not the smartest. Faizel hates himself for any bad decisions he ever makes, mainly because he feels any lives lost are because of him - even when it's not his fault - and often has a deep sense of regret. However, he refuses to let any of this show through, not wanting to show any sign of weakness to the members of the army. In fact, he is so determined not to show weakness that he tries to avoid showing any emotions at all.
History: Born the son of a miller, Faizel has lived a fairly normal life. He helped his parents with running the mill ever since he was old enough to walk, and has grown very strong from years of hard work. When he turned 30, his parents had grown too old to work, so he took entire responsibility of working at the mill. The town he lived in hadn't heard what the senator had said when he first appeared on television, purely because they were a very small, out-of-the-way town. However, the notice came to them quickly when the senator managed to escape slavery. Faizel knew almost immediately that he had to do something. Being a very caring man, he felt the need to help everyone, and therefore, decided that he would join the army.

Quickly becoming good at wielding weapons due to the strength he had built up working at the mill, and because of his perfectionism, Faizel ascended ranks very quickly. In what seemed to be barely a day, although it was actually the course of about three months, Faizel had become the best at fighting, and therefore became commander. Ever since then, Faizel has been doing his best to lead the army and trying his hardest to avoid letting himself be overwhelmed by the stress that came of being a commander.
