"Never try to outsmart me. Making me look a fool will put you in the basement faster then you can even realize what you've done." Scarlet wears a wicked smile on her face everyday. She's calculating and quick, smart as a whip. What she lacks in size and intimidation, she gains in brains and motivation. She's dangerous for you know when she plots against you, she'll never lose. She's quiet and her voice is sweet and small, but her punishments are the worst of all the staff's, keeping the subjects strictly in line. She keeps a mental calculation of the trouble-makers and knows most of them by name. The other subjects are just faces to her and she completely wraps herself in her job, letting it absorb her. Scar's temper is terrible and it is easy to set her off, making her one of the most feared staff members.
Scarlet is a wicked woman with a wild temper. She's never once in her life been insecure or timid. Everywhere she goes, she drags with her a powerful and intimidating vibe. Her personality is one of the reasons she rose to Second-In-Command so quickly and it makes her incredibly good at her job. Scar is a very determined woman. If she sees something she wants, she gets it. It's as simple as that. Nothing gets in her way of success and she wont give up until every possible solution has been exhausted. This headstrong woman isn't one to love and coddle you. If you have something she wants, and you refuse to give it to her, she has no problem with torture. Blood and pain has never been a weakness of hers. Most people just surrender to Scarlet right away. If her intimidating aura doesn't do it, a single glare from her icy blue eyes will usually melt the stubbornest of people into puddles.
As well as determined, Scarlet's also very bright and an incredible manipulator. She's the kind of woman who will let you believe that you're in control of everything, only for you to find out later that she's been playing you the whole time. Her emotions are kept under tight lock and key, only allowing people to see what she wants them to. Some go so far as to say that the only emotion she has is anger. Her temper is her greatest weakness for she is very easy to piss off and once she is, there is no telling what she'll do when blinded by rage. Often her greatest slip-ups are when she's red with fury. If someone were to know precisely how to press her buttons, it could mean her undoing. This is why she keeps her emotions locked up so tightly and throws herself into her job head first.
If you could sum up Scarlet perfectly in one word, it'd be ruthless. Every word that comes out of her mouth drips with superiority and double-meaning. She doesn't care what others think of her and never will. She's ruthless and wicked, doing things simply because she wants to. If it doesn't benefit her, she wont do it. The only person she's ever loved is herself. She doesn't waste time with people she doesn't need. Scarlet prefers to give our orders, rather than be ordered around. When someone undermines her, they're immediately put on her hit list. If she makes a threat against you, you can be sure she'll carry it out for she'll hold a grudge until the day she dies. In all, Scarlet is a wicked, selfish woman who takes a little too much pleasure in the pain of others. Especially the freaks she's charged with.
"What can I say? I loved attention so I always aimed to exceed expectations." As a child, Scarlet lived in a small town where everyone knew everyone's business. Her parents were sweet and doting and her brother was a high school dropout. She'd always been brilliant, but not by gift of birth for none of her family had ever graduated highschool. When she first knew she wanted to be at the top of the charts, was when she was featured in the newspaper for being the first ever girl to skip a grade in the little hillbilly town. Pictures were taken, people gossiped, and the article was fabulous. At this, she knew she wanted this sort of attention daily. She wanted to get out of the hillbilly town and make a name for herself. Scarlet wanted to be rich and make intelligence famous. So she always aimed higher, better, and faster.
Soon, she had her own column in the town newspaper and when she graduated high school at twelve her story was nationalized. The extra attention pushed her harder and she soon was the proud owner of a fabulous penthouse apartment in New York, owned a booming business at 17, all while working on her P.H.D, which she acquired at eighteen. Whenever Scarlet feels something is impossible, she takes out that very first article and reads it to herself. She wasn't asked to be apart of the Salem Facility. She went to them. Using her power, at 20, she found out who ran them and insisted she be taken into their staff. She was put on as a janitor and while this insulted her, she soon became a higher up staff member in the manor of a year due to sheer determination, within the next two months, she was promoted to Second-In-Command.
At first, Scarlet was wary about what the facility did. She'd merely come to study the subjects as a physiologist, delve deeper into their minds. She didn't want to hurt anyone, but soon, it became necessary for her to advance in her career so she took it on. Over her time at the Salem Correctional Facility, she has become quite sadistic and is no longer queezy about violence and torture.
