Onyx paced the kennel he was in. he wanted out badly. mostly because he was claustrophobic and the cage was small to him, and the other was that he was sick of doing nothing but waiting. He whined as he went back and forth then eventually collapsed on the blanket that served as a bed.
Rick sighed as he heard Onyx whine."Onyx, i'm coming, stop your whining.." Rick said, and walked over his kennel."Here, you wanna go outside?" Rick said, and he got a leash and opened the kennel door, grabbing Onyx's collar, and looping the leash on.Rick soon walked Onyx out to the enclosure outside, and let Onyx out, the shut the gate behind him, walking back into the building.
Lily opens the front door of the shelter/zoo and turns the closed sign the other way round to say open. It's 7:30am and it seems Rick is already here. All the dogs appear to be out of their cages right now and are in the outdoor area. At least he didn't put them in the box. The box is the object all pets fear.
Onyx walked with a trot around the enclosure to get some exercise. Boredly he stopped by the gate pawing at it. He starts to whine wanting to come out.

"Morning Rick." She says to Rick. She opens a cupboard full of food for the hamsters. She pours some of the food in her hand and feeds it to the hamsters piece by piece. She puts the food back in the cupboard and walks towards the door leading to the lions.
Onyx walked along the fence and when he found a good spot in a bush he dug at the dirt under the fence until he had a hole big enough for him to fit through. he crawled under the fence then grabbed a branch dragging it over the other end of the hole then walked over to the front and sits in front of the shop window on the cashier's side staring in.
She notices Onyx in the window and decides to keep him company for a minute or too. Rick can feed the lions. "Hello Onyx." she says sounding like she is really over-exaggerating.
