After having a few drinks, she wiggles in her seat to the beat of the music, too lazy to get up and actually dance. After a moment she recognizes the song and start to hum a bit as another drink is presented to her. With a tiny smile, she thanked the bartender for yet another drink and started to down it, turning to watch and observe the other people in the nightclub. She smiles slightly to herself, enjoying the slight interaction from the people around her. She even annoyed a man without even trying! She chuckled to herself and turned back towards the bar, ordering another drink. Separating herself from others wasn't as hard as she thought it would be.

"Well due to the fact that you are probably the only person in this place that will hold a conversation with me, why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself Jimmy?" She asked sweetly. She was partly sarcastic, due to his appearance she was sure that any conversation they had at this table would be nothing but small talk and she would learn nothing about his true identity. He seemed like the type to keep all personal details to himself. She would rather it that way, if it all possible, anything personal should be left at the door. Alisia was not the type to blab her whole life story to someone. Even her best of friends knew only what they needed to know. She ordered a drink as the bartender walked by. This would quite possibly be her only drink for the evening. She liked having her wits about her.

Jimmy paused, thinking for the right words for a moment. He couldn't tell her too much, because in this city anybody could be a rat. You never know! And this was true, his 'best friend' had once tried to turn him in to the feds for shooting somebody. He wasn't sure if he could trust this girl or not so he decided to play it safe. "Just a normal guy with a bad past." Jimmy said, trying to sum it up in one sentence. It was mostly true what he said. As the bartender walked by he too ordered another drink, they didn't seem TOO strong.

Michael laughs, accepting his drink. he sniffs it before taking a drink. he makes a small noise of disgust before continuing to drink it, draining it.
"yeah, i am. 'salways like this, but then again, i think i like it better this way." he motions for a refill and downs that one too. "what about you?" he asks, slurring ever so slightly.

William didn't say anything for a little while. "Well, no. If I had been here before, I wouldn't come again." He drank some of his whiskey, put it back on the bar, and looked at it with utter disgust. "Why do you like it this way?" he asked slowly. Who could like it this way? It was boring, a utter disgrace to SA. "What this place need, is a PR-guy. One who knows how to attract people. And not 'oh-lets-dance-and-pretend-we-have-a-good-time'-kind of people.." he said, with a little smile.

" oh, god. those who actually come to have a good time." Michael says, shaking his head. "this is not that place. that is why i love it here. it is quiet. not enough people here to make a mistake." his hand curls again. this was more than he had ever said in a while. the whiskey must have loosened his tongue. "drown out your sorrows for a while, stumble home, come back tomorrow. really didn't mean to kil-" he cuts off in mid sentence, realizing that he had said to much. to cover, he takes another slug of whiskey.

"You don't seem very normal to me," Alisia thought, but she held her tongue and said nothing at first, mulling it over. Not a lie, but a very general answer. She took a sip of her drink. It was the kind of answer that answered nothing.

"Mysterious" she said with a touch of friendly sarcasm. She took another sip, looking him over, trying to read him a little. Something intrigued her. Why not lie? Make it easy.

"You don't look the type," she said. "You dress nice, you hold yourself well, and you don't seem to drip depression like some of the others you might meet in this world. Nobody's life is a bed of roses." Another sip.

'Take it easy,' she told herself. Alisia needed to pace herself as if not to loose her wit. Something about this man seemed slightly dangerous, but not in a bad way. It was hard to put her finger on it. She sat her drink down on the napkin, a wet ring marking the brown towel.

William noticed what he said. It was odd. Nobody in here seemed to say more than five words in a sentence. "Secrecy is a virtue. Don't ask, don't tell.." he said slowly and even quieter than he usually do. "But you have nothing to fear from me. I'm Will. N' you?" he said in the same slow and quiet way.

Jimmy laughed a little at her last comment about dressing nice, holding himself well, and not dripping depression.

"Looks can be deceiving. I hold myself well because I have the utmost confidence I can get anybody and everybody to do what I want, and that requires 100% confidence. I'm not depressed because.. well I guess I just don't have anything TO be depressed about."

He eyed her for a second, finding it ironic what she had said. Her description of him also applied to her. "What about you? You may as well have described yourself in saying that."

She smirked, those thin lips of hers turning up in an almost painfully poetic smile. Her grey eyes sparkled for a moment with delight. He was witty, intelligent. It has been a while since she was able to banter back and forth with someone to this existent. If there was anything she loved it was the ability to share a little bit of intelligence with this bleak world.

She hadn't really been planning to engage with a male tonight. Alisia had a bad habit of dazzling them with her charm and ending up in dangerous situations. However, despite his "dark past", he didn't seem dangerous. She didn't trust him completely, that would be pure stupidity. She had only known him for a few minutes. But, at least for the moment she felt at ease and decided to just enjoy the conversation. It wasn't like anything else was happening at this place.

"Life is way to short to be depressed. If you spend all your time moping around you miss out on life, and all her perks. I'm too smart for that." A pause and another of her smirks.

"Plus a confident girl always get the guys." A wink. Not necessarily meant as flirtatious, just her personality. It was no wonder she was always getting in trouble.

Michael coughed a bit, knowing he had said to much. "Michael." he grunts, pushing away his drink. no more for you. he thinks to himself. he notes the way the man calling himself Will talked. slow, almost wary, like he was talking to a crazy person. he puts his head in his hands, cursing himself and his low tolerance for drinks. he traced the wood grain with a finger, trying to distract himself and prevent himself from getting angry.

William carefully observed this Michael. With that kind of weaknesses, he shouldn't drink places like this. Will knew, that he was not oppressing quite strong feelings. What a fool. But not a bad minded fool. "Are you alright?" he asked in his usual quite way.

"no." Michael says, his smirk falling back in place. " i am fantastic, just fantastic." he says sarcastically, still tracing a knot in the grain of the table. "so, why'd you come here?" he asks, not really caring but trying to prevent Will from staring at him so much. His head was clearing, thankfully, although he has a low tolerance level he can jump right back up. he sticks his hand in his pocket, fishing for something. he pulls out a little square of wood, ragged with use, and starts to pull it apart, splinter by splinter. it used to be quite large, but now it was smaller then his palm.

William looked shortly at the door, and considered to leave. "Well, let's just say, that I seek someone." William was already thinking of the moment, where the scumbag would enter, go the to bar with his usual smile, and order some ridiculous drink. The thought of this man entering the room, made his heart beat quickly. "What about you? Except 'having fun'?"

"ahh, you know, the usual." he says, evading the question, He got a splinter stuck in his finger. "crap!" he curses before he pulled it out with his teeth. he watched the blood well up for a bit before he licked the it up. he spat out the small bit of wood and continued pulling at the edge with a ragged finger nail. "who are you looking for?" he asks, still concentrating on his wood block, knowing that the stranger will probably evade that question just as Michael had evaded his.

As Jimmy ordered another whiskey from the bartender he listened to the woman explain how life is short. All Jimmy had to say in response was "Life may be short, but it's a small world once you find your way around."

Once she had went on to say "Plus a confident girl always get the guys." his drink arrived and he took a drink. He wasn't sure if she was flirting or not, so he just gave a neutral response. "Depends on the guy," Jimmy replied.

William again looked toward the door. Then he looked at his glass, and answers slowly without looking up. "nobody". Will had said too much. If he left now, Jimmy would suspect something. The would all suspect something. What a great mistake this visit had been. He should never had left the safety of the corner. The darkness, where nobody would notice him. A big, possibly fatal, mistake. The trick was now to vanish without too much detection. "shit" William said quieter than usual. He has done several mistakes. The drink could be poisoned, he could have left his fingerprints on the glass, somebody may have seen and recognized him. "What are you drinking?" he asked in an attempt to hide his failure.

"Well it always does, doesn't it?" she asked. His response made her smile. She finished her first drink and ordered another. She held her liquor like most of the guys. A few drinks wouldn't hurt her as long as she was careful. She pulled her hair down, and shook out the waves. Running her fingers through it to get it to obey, she relaxed, and got comfortable, kicking off her heels under the table where no one would see.

"You seem to know your way around this "small world", Jimmy." She wondered how. What was he a part of? She knew this town had her secrets, and this place especially seemed to advertise mystery. She only ran her finger around the outside of her glass when the drink arrived. Mulling him over.

She had to be careful, getting entranced by all this mystery could get a girl in a world of hurt, and as sweet as he seemed, he didn't look like the type of guy she should be making friends with. The fact that she found him in this place should have set up enough red flags. That would be a good story to tell her parents.

'Guess what mom, found a guy at this place.... its called the sanctuary. No, no not an actual sanctuary. This is a Nightclub in San-Fran.'
Sounded beautiful. Not.

Something seemed off in this place all the sudden. Not Jimmy necessarily, but something was most definitely off. She needed to make a decision now. Leave and miss all the drama, or stay and learn more about the people that were here. She took downed her second drink and looked at Jimmy. If he knew his way around this small world maybe he was the person to be around when things got hairy. So she ordered a third drink and smiled.

"And you, what kind of girl are you into?" she asked.

Jimmy took a sip from his whiskey. "You know, I've never really thought about that question. Never had it come up." Jimmy paused, looking forward seemingly miles ahead, before eying her.

"Any girl that won't put a gun in my back when I turn around, I guess." It had crossed his mind that, by now, he had given way too much information. He already had half of San-Fran wanting his head as-his, and if it weren't for him literally being able to drop off the criminal radar, he would be dead. If this girl was with one of them, which he doubted, he could easily be hunted down and killed.

"So tell me, what did you come here for..?" Jimmy asked. It seemed obvious enough to him people didn't just come to Sanctuary to find dates or have a good time; other then the man he overheard say he came here for a drink often.

Michael notices Will's increased discomfort. "you okay?" he asks, ignoring his question. "sorry for being such an ass, I shouldn't get into your business like that." he tries to let the poor guy relax. he looks to be as strung up as a deer in the headlights. Michael pulls up a seat and continues pulling at his wood, now about the size as his index finger. he gets another splinter stuck in his finger and gets blood all over the wood. he curses profanely and sucks on his finger, wiping blood from the wood. then he continues with his pulling at it, like nothing happened.

"No problem. In these times, you gotta ask questions" Will said normally, eased over the change of topic. "have you been in town for long time?" he asked. If he did, he may either know something, or be of help to Will. It would require that Will trusted the guy, though.

"Ehhh... been round for a while, maybe a bit more than two months." he waved a hand in the air and dropped his little bloodstained piece of wood back in his pocket. "don't tell anyone, but most of the people in this city are idiots." he grins a little. "This is most definitely the best people watching place i have been in yet." this guy put him at ease now that they were in neutral territory. He reminded him of some of his old friends back when he used to live with his mom. he stretches his fingers a bit, accidentally reopening the two splinter cuts. they both start to bleed and he watches them again, smearing them with his thumb before getting rid of the blood with his tongue.

William noticed the blood, put his right hand in the pocket of his coat, found a napkin and gave it to Michael. "Here use this." he said. He continued: "You see, I am looking for a individual, who might come to this place tonight. Only I can't tell who he is, and why I am looking for him. I can't tell you how he looks, and from where he comes. I can't even explain why I am looking for this person at this moment..." William took a great risk, but since two years had passed, and he still didn't have any success, he was about to try his luck. "... But since you come here often..." he lowered his voice. "... I think you see him. I will explain everything when time comes. But until then, I need to know, if you see anything mysterious. I am not talking suspicious persons nor am I talking about dangerous looking people. If you see this man, you will know, that something is not right. If you get the feeling that this is more abnormal than the ordinary abnormality, just.. let me know somehow." Will couldn't believe he was doing this, but it was his only hope.

"Well," she smirked confidently. "Any place that has a reputation like this one does has got to get the Alisia stamp of approval. You see..." The door flung open. It had started raining again, and the man that occupied the archway was soaked the bone and desperate. Alisia stiffened. Here? Now? Right when she thought things had settled down, he came back, upsetting the balance again.

Years had passed since she had seen him last. Long years. His face had matured, facial hair growing on his defined jaw line. His eyes had grown mad, desperate looking. He was thin, he had lost weight, but way to much of it. His 2-sizes-to-big T shirt clung to him as it dripped onto the floor.

"You," he spoke as if he didn't have the will to speak anymore. Like someone had stolen his ability to communicate straight from his throat. Then he grew wild, powerful, charging across the club and pulling Alisia from her chair by her shoulders.

"YOU!" he growled it, demanded it. "You ruined everything! My life, you took everything from me. You took my life from me! Give it back! Give me back my life!" he lost his will to demand and sunk to her knees, and sobbed.

Alisia stood unsure of how to react, as everyone stared at her. Play it off? Pretend like she has no idea who he is? She decided to wait, and play off the reactions of the others who were spectating.

Michael takes the napkin, wiping the blood from his thumb and a bit from his lip, and nods. "i will keep a look out." suddenly a man bursts through the doors, making nearly everyone jump. he starts yelling at one of the girls at the table in which Will used to be situated. he leans over to Will and whispers in a low voice "he seems pretty abnormal, is that your guy?"
