After they were done Alexander picked up the skeleton and took it with him. After a while he started treating the skeleton as a friend because it never left him like the others he were with. One day he was found by the X-men, Jean Gray and Scott Summers, and they decided to take care of him. However they realized that he already had mental problems during to have been alone for so many years and they couldn't do anything to cure it. They thought it was best to take him to the school where they atleast could make sure he wouldn't cause too much trouble.
