Jason, Alpha of the ThunderPelts, took his seat in front of the young pups. "This is our History, young pups, this is our legend" Jason began, he had told this story many times to the pups so they knew what would happen if you crossed him. Linda, Jason's mate took her seat next to Jason nuzzling his soft chest. "Blaze... My brother... all I wanted was his happiness...." Jason cut off; As Blaze's Smokey scent surrounded him. "Blaze was driven mad by power...and love, He killed his own father... his own pack" Jason snarled and the pups watched in horror, picturing the murderous wolf inside their head. "I and I alone saved our pack, I killed Emily and then Blaze, if it weren’t for me... I don’t know what would have happened, Blaze is the reason we are in a great war with the DuskFire's... If any of you do what Blaze blindly did... I will punish you by death!" Jason smiled as the pups shock in fear. "You all owe your lives to Jason" Linda spoke, before she trotted back to her den where her pups waited. Jason soon after followed, but went to the waterfalls... Where he last saw Blaze.

Jason turned into his dark headed human form and sat down on a rock, listening to the rush of the waterfall. "Brother... you speak of me dead... When you know I live" Blaze's voice shook Jason, he hadn't heard that voice for a long time now. "Brother, I missed-" Jason was cut short by his brother "you speak of me as a killer, you say i killed father... I killed my pack..." Blazes turned to his human form, Blaze's eyes filling up with sorrow, but soon replaces by anger. "You killed Father! You killed my pack! You killed Emily!" Blaze growled, followed by a snarl. Jason watched Blaze in horror, never had Blaze acted like this... "Brother... you should thank me... that girl made you weak" Jason offered a cruel smile to Blaze.

Blaze couldn’t hold back, before he knew it, Jason was on the ground, Blaze was on top. "Brother... I have grown strong while you hide in my shadow like a pup!" Jason snarled and soon followed by Blaze changed into his Midnight black Wolf. Jason threw Blaze off of him like a rag doll, Snarling and growling together they fought. "Any last words?" Jason teased Blaze, one snap and Blaze would be dead. Blaze glared at his brother "yes, Emily and I... we had a pup, and I swear he will come back and make you pay for what you have done!" Blaze spat in Jason's face. Jason growled, not having the strength to hold back, Jason pressed down on Blaze's wind pipe, Blaze stopped moving... he was dead. Jason turned back to his human form before rolling his dead brother deep into the depths of the waterfall, Jason whispered "goodbye brother" before he walked back to his den, where his Mate and pups waited.

Jason now plans to over throw the DuskFire’s and finally be Alpha of all he forest, his thirst for power will be complete. Jason has tried all his life, trying to find Emily and Blaze's pup... seeking to destroy it.

Plot

Naomi and Tristan share the same fate, Finish High School, Get married and be Alpha with their selected mate. Naomi is promised to Nathan and Tristan is promised to Sapphire. Naomi and Tristan meet a few times and they can’t stand each other... not at first.

April, a human girls dad, finds out what Naomi is and desires to catch her and run tests, April's dad, Mark, Writes a letter from Nathan to Naomi, and seeing it is her future Mate... she goes only to be captured and locked up somewhere in the woods. Problems are, No one knows where Naomi is... not even her pack and two... Mark has special chains which keep Naomi from shifting into her wolf from, with no hope Naomi gives up. But Tristan, developing feelings for Naomi goes out and fins her locked up... Tristan’s saves Naomi's live and they fall hard for each other.

Naomi and Tristan secretly meet up by the waterfall after school no one knows about them... until one day Jason finds out they are deeply in love for one another and he plans to kill them and take over the DuskFire's pack. Naomi and Tristan are found with only two choices... One, to leave everything they know behind for love or die fighting.
