Introduction
Leigh and Dierdre McAllister were legacies. Born late into the lives of Micheal and Bri (a general in the British Special Forces, and the best field agent that the intelligence community had ever seen, respectively), it was imperative that the girls learned to defend themselves from the first step they took. Of course growing up surrounded by covert operations had it's upsides for the two as well, when they weren't at boarding school. Not that boarding school ever stopped them from doing what they wanted to. Rules were only broken if you were caught after all, and living with their parents had taught them how to be sneaky.
It didn't take long for them to get curious about what their parents did, and so, out of necessity, they learned how to get places that they weren't supposed to be able to go on a computer. That sealed their fates. After all, a sense of duty to the parents that they adored wouldn't allow them to just sit idly by and not even check up on them. Computer skills were born, and with them came knowledge. By the time they graduated, at 15, they knew things that no one their age should. Even that would have been nothing more than a passing oversight, but Dierdre decided to do more than just observe.
Only weeks after graduation, Dierdre brought home a gun with a tracking device in it. A desert eagle taken from a Russian mobster she'd killed in defense of an innocent. Having gotten so used to looking out for themselves, it never even occurred to the girls to tell their parents what they knew. The result was a kidnapping, an explosion, and a gruesome first kill at much too young an age. Sickened by what she had done, all Leigh could think about was what would happen to her, her sister, their parents if she allowed these people to continue. So she did the only thing she could think to. With the help of her sister, she found out all she could about the people who wanted them dead, and turned it against them. Messages left on computers and phones, computer files messed with. Small things that mounted up to distrust, and ultimately made them turn against each other. In the end, there wasn't anyone left who really cared about two little girls.
Leigh would have been done then, but Dierdre wasn't done, and she could never say "no" to her twin sister. From then on they worked freelance, for the highest bidder with only one requirement, the highest bidder had darn well better be the good guy. If they weren't, well, Dierdre at least had no issue with taking their money and turning on them, bringing them low. After all, they wouldn't need money in prison, or dead. Slowly, they gained a name for themselves, enemies and bounties on their head amassed much more quickly. Chimera, they were called, and no one but the few that knew them personally even realized that they were two people, not one. So it went for sometime, and then the unthinkable happened, Micheal and Bri were killed in the line of duty.
It's two months after Leigh and Dierdre have been informed of the death of their parents. For the first time in their lives, the sisters have parted company. At the death of their parents, Leigh is ready to call it quits, Dierdre on the other hand wants revenge. So it was that they went their own ways. Knowing that her sisters focus would wear off soon, and not wanting to get dragged back like she had been every other time in the past, Leigh took cover.
So our story starts, in the city of Colorado Springs, Co. A place large enough to get lost in, but not so large as to be the fist place anyone would look for someone on the lam. Especially not with the large military presence, and NORAD not so very far away.
It is also the home of Global Dynamics, an international, multimillion dollar corporation who ultimately deals in just about everything under the sun. Run by a less than scrupulous CEO, who deals with the bad guys at least as often as the good, this corporation is everything that Leigh has worked her whole life to destroy. Of course, she doesn't know that, yet anyway.
Despite it's location, this is not a Stargate roleplay. If things get too slow however, given the location, it may come under consideration if the people involved all want elements of it to come into play. If from the beginning you want your character to be military working on some unnamed top secret project, by all means go ahead. I don't want to alienate anyone.
If you've gotten this far and are still reading, here's what I'm looking for:
1. Literate writers who won't create a character and never post.
2. Well thought out, logical characters.
3. People who aren't afraid to give feed back good or bad. I can't fix it if I don't know that it's broken.
Necessary characters (I'm not going to start without these covered):
1. Leigh McAllister: Taken
2. Dierdre McAllister:
3. Global Dynamics CEO:
Wanted characters(I'd like to have a few of these before starting):
1. Handlers:
2. Rouge Agents:
3. Colorado Springs residents:
4. Anything else you can think of.
