"No need to kill, Tom? Oh, They told me all about you!" Shadow exclaimed, drawing those "cards" of hers and shuffling them.
"I could kill you of course but I won't. Ha-! And I lied, I'm not just a border traveler! Good day to you, Thomas." With that the girl turned away from him, became unseen behind a veil of black feathers, and was gone.

"Bu-I-Wha-?" Stuttered Tom in complete confusion,and looked back."What is happening?!" He muttered,walking back in his earlier direction.His feet were much better,but he couldn't help thinking; These people could kill me.I have to get away. and he hurried as to not let anyone follow..

Shadow kept up her pace following Thomas in the shadows of the trees. Ironic there, how her name fitted her very cover “Not too soon Thomas...not finished with you...hehe.”

Silently, Charima looked at the girl, her big golden eyes shimmering with something that did not have its place there. Worldessly, the huge black wolf padded forward again, and when she came head to chest with the redhead, she lowered and nose and nudged the girl's cheek gently with it. She exhaled softly and said, "Both of us have lost things we cared about, have we not? I can see it in your eyes. I can see it just like I'm sure you can see MY loss in my eyes."

Charima drew back slightly, and this time she bent down and nudged the hand that had been holding the cookie. "Food is a comforter, is it not? And yet we need it to live, and we eat it everyday. Could it be that we all need to be comforted, every day of every decade? Could it be that we have all lost something dear to us at one point or another - something that we will never be handed back and told, 'Here, I was just on holiday, but I'm back now, and I love you'? Could it be that this world is so cruel as to take from us what we were never willing to give in the first place?"

Charima lay down again in front of the girl, crossing her paws in front of her, and tucked her head gently under the fox girl's arm. "Vixen," she said softly, and it did not escape either of their notice that this was the first time that she had addressed her by her name. "I have not expressed what I truly meant. Vengeance is all I have left. It is how I hold onto the world, how I keep on going even when I should have been stripped of all determination. I do not love life. I was deprived of that love eight years ago, when my brother was killed by the humans. He was all I had left. That is why I wage a war against them so strongly. That is why I am here today, to fight a battle that is not mine, yet that I need perhaps just as much as you do. If you will not see it as vengeance, then how about justice? Is this not justice? A life for a life? A gangster's bargain, and yet one as old as the world itself. The world is unfair. But neither of us should have been taught to fear it so early on in our lives."

"Vixen," Charima said again, looking up at the red-headed girl from where her head was tucked under the girl's arm. "If you will not come with us, if you will not accompany us in this forsaken quest of ours - will you teach me to love this life again? Will you teach me to forgive and to forget, and to let my quest for revenge go as ephemeral?" The wolf looked down and away from the girl's face, but did not move as it said, "I will call off the search for the human," she whispered softly, "but I am in need of something to replace it with. Something to occupy days of what has became forceful living. Teach me to live again, fox girl. My name is Ookami Charima, of the Clan of the Wolf of District Psi, and I am begging you to help me in what has become a lost bargain with myself."

Tom had soon reached a gate,as a few horses were tied.He grinned quite evilly,and went over to a young,black horse,and peered around for anyone.He crept up to it,gravel quietly crushing,and he quickly untied it,riding fast.A man had walked in front,the hooves hitting the man in the ribs and Tom smiled slyly,and his horse galloped up the road quickly.

Vixen didn't realize until then that there were people like her that were lost. Nor did she think she could have anything in common with a shifter.. The wolf believed she was one. Yet, she felt as if she could make a connection with this wolf and she wanted to see where it went. After all, things ended in two ways - either extremely bad, or, extremely good. I'll just keep it a secret until the time comes, she said to herself. Nodding her head slowly, she looked at the black wolf. "I'll help you. We can help each other, I feel as if I have a lot to learn from you." She said quietly as her face flushed, she had just walked into something that would change her, for the better or the worst.

At that, Charima closed her eyes. There was something within her, a black void of churning stars that had been there for years, that had been soother over by the fox girl's voice. She felt suddenly at peace - more herself than she had been in years.

Behind her, Toohoo and Mist, as silently as they had come, turned around and disappeared into the trees - leaving them alone.

Vixen gazed curiously at Charima. She picked up another cookie and took a bite of it as she gazed up at the trees. She smiled slightly. "What now?" She said with a bit of a laugh in her voice. "Usually I come to town and then go home, alone, and just sit on my steps." She shrugged.

Yarvees continued walking towards his place again having watch what the two girls had agreed to he felt there was no need to stick around. he turned into a raccoon and began running he had waste enough time he was going to cross the border and see what his human contacts had been up to a burning of a house seemed like a war declaration to him and he knew is war came the border would get hit first something he couldn't afford having his friends living nearby he needed to know if he was going to need to move.

Charima looked down at the fox girl's mention of her home, staring at the ground as she gently disengaged her head from under the girl's arm and lowered herself to the ground. "I have not slept under a roof since my brother lost his life." She paused, shuffling at the ground with one paw. "It was...my way to mourn. I think it would be a good start for me to attempt to sleep - or at least spend the night - with a roof over my head. That is, if you do not mind me doing so." Charima looked up questioningly at that, waiting for the fox girl's answer.

The big wolf looked down at herself then, and seemed to finally realize that she was still in wolf form. "Would you - would you be more comfortable if I Shifted back? I have no qualms with remaining like this - it is usually the way I sleep at night - but I know that a fox would rather not have a transformed wolf in their home while they sleep."

Great just great yarvees though to himself as he saw a human barricade near the border this was obviously because of charisma and her wolf the treat of a bloody battle was near. Yarvees transformed into a raccoon in an effort to avoid the patrolling humans he needed to reach the other side but this just complicate things a hell of a lot more. He sneaked through the trees watching the humans they had all some sort of weapon he wanted to figure out what it is but getting to close was quite risky. He jumped ahead of the barricade after he left markings so other shifter could know the danger ahead he wanted to avoid unnecessary bloodshed. He walk pass the barricade and when he was far enough he transformed into humanoid form and pull his hood over his head, he walked to a nearby pub maybe his drunken spy was there and he could get the information faster, but this was highly unlikely as things never smoothly for yarvees.

Alren grimaced at that thought. "Well, that's a lovely story" He said laughing a little. He flagged down a serving girl and ordered a few tid bits of food and a good pint of ale. He leaned back in his seat as if her were about to doze off after her ordered his food.
How many more days will I be in this land? He asked himself He sighed a little and sat up as the serving girl brought him his food, she came him a small smile and a wink. He smiled politely back " Thank you miss." He placed a silver coin under his plate for when she came back to get them. She walked off smiling. He turned to his food and started eating quietly , his trip was catching up to him and he was exhausted. He looked up at Peta. " Sorry i'm not one for conversation at the moment. The trip is catching up." He explained. He offered her a smile and then turned back to his food.

Wanagi nodded her head in understanding, then chowed down on her meat and potatoes. As they ate the noise slowly returned to normal, but occasionaly she would hear a line or a tone of voice that reminded her of that fateful day. As the noise increased so did the undercurrent, and it just pushed her to much. "I'm turning in, don't let these people push you to much, if you don't stand your own they'll just run you out." As she got up she left a silver coin on her wiped-clean plate then turned and stared down ever person in the room except Mr. White and Arlen. Afterwards she dipped her head to White and left the main floor going up the stairs. She stopped mid way though. "Crap, I forgot to get the key." She muttered to herself then went back to the bar. Slapping down White's room fee. He in turn slapped down the key then they picked up their respective items.
She picked up her pack that she had forgotten the first time, along with her staff and dager, and went upstairs again, completely ignoring the crowd.

The forest was quiet in the human side, strange he thought there would be more barricades around hopefully this means there won't be escalation in this problem he said as he walk along the path looking for others around his journey was just starting and he was tired already he thought of those he met recently. " I can probably avoid the one call shadow, definitively avoid charisma if I want to keep my head but that red headed girl she is different I couldn't get the scent of a Fox like charima said maybe she using a disguise but a nose train on deceive can perceive deceive " he said as he walk maybe vixen wasn't what the wolf's thought she was maybe she was something else he headed to the source of the fox girl scent which he assume was her house this would confirm if she was using a charm to give off the shifter smell.

Vixen crossed her legs and stood up, she smiled wryly. "You can sleep in my bed if you'd like to, I don't mind. Nor do I mind you being in wolf form, whatever makes you feel more comfortable. After all, if something bad to happen then I guess you could say it was meant to be." She shrugged and picked up her things, glancing at the wolf. Realizing her house would probably be a mess, she ran her fingers through her hair awkwardly. "Heh, just to let you know, my house isn't the greatest out of all of them.." She trailed off.

He got closer to the house watching his step he knew how good charima was at spotting danger even though he meant no harm she would still attack him. He walked closer he saw the scent of the fox getting stronger it was odd if he wasn't train in the art of deceive he would be fool into thinking this girl was a shifter. Damn he though if charima found out it would be bad very bad he needed to make sure that she wasn't force to shapeshift or there would be trouble.He saw the house and decided to approach it his arms up and called out for charima and vixen" hello I'm because I got information about your house".He waited for them to step outside he didn't want trouble or a fight but he would be ready to dodge any attacks from charima.

Charima froze, surprised. "Hum, I don't think..." She shook her head as though talking to herself. She turned, in the direction of what she knew to be the fox girl's house. "I will sleep at the foot of your bed. In wolf form." She gazed back at the fox girl curiously, one paw up in the air as though she'd interrupted a step. "Climb up," she said. "Come on. It is be faster this way. We will be at your home in twenty minutes. I know the way."
