J then turned as he pulled the string back again, another arrow forming. He took aim at the figure that threw him releasing a single arrow, before turning the bow in his hands into a spear, charging at the man with a yell.

In seconds Aika reached the school as he had zipped there with his heightened speed. His glaring eyes turned into glaring slits as his hood feel from his head. Raindrops were smacking his hair as he withdrew his left hand from his pocket; in it he was holding a crystal knife. With great force he sank the knife into the wall of the school. Moments later he did the same with the right but a bit higher than the left as he began climbing the school wall.
It did not take Aika to much time to make it past the halfway point of the climb as he quickly muttered to himself mimicking the voice of just about everyone he met that day as he repeated the same line over and over again in an annoyed fashion.
"I'm going to attack heeeeeead on! That outta stop the other guys attacking heeeeeead on. Dumbasses..."
Flying over the roof fence Aika dumped out all of his knives from both his left and right jacket pockets as he started to work. ..

The clouds thundered on, as more shadows started to populate the darkness ridden storm. The dragon was roaring summoning stray bolts of lightning with each acknowledgement of his powerful existence. From above, the clouds were beginning to spiral forming a cone; Zeta was soaring faster and faster. It sliced through the illusions ignoring them because of lack of scent emanating from them.
The lightning wasnāt doing enough damage, which only seemed to infuriate the dragon more. Zeta broke off from his circular flying pattern, rocketing as far as he could higher into the air. With a graceful motion the dragon flipped in mid-flight, his wings folding in on themselves. The dragon stopped roaring, the whole battle ground below clearing of all lighting; however high above further than anyone could see, the dragon was drawing in an enormous amount of lightning.
The lightning crackled as it began to jump between individual scales, Zeta dropped backward falling into a bone shattering dive. The dragon dropped through the tip of the cone of cloud it had created, it almost resembled a tornado but without the building ripping winds. The dragon fell like a cross between an oversized bolt of lightning, and a comet; His decent was targeted right where Yuki was.
Only seconds from crashing into Yuki, the dragon opened its eyes spotting the transforming Yuki. As if recognizing her it expanded a wing, the force drove Zeta to spiral to his right; his fall pattern switching to crash course right over Bastian and Kumi.
((Bastian, present day))
Bastian was relieved by Yukiās great work with the weather; he almost let out a chuckle as the icy rain hit his face. Bastian looked straight up, watching the clouds spiraling into a cone; that only meant one thing, a dragon dive. There was no way of telling where the dragon would crash down, but he knew it could be potentially fatal.
He watched as the dragon broke from the cover of the clouds, shooting down below. It was aimed straight for the school, Bastian clapped his hands together about to start a spell but was shocked as the dragon changed course in mid-fall; no dragon had ever attempted this, only a straight dive would insure the dragonās survival. Bastian gasped as he realized it was about to fall on top of him and Kumi; he gritted his teeth left with only one option.
Bastian separated his hand abandoning the spell, he grabbed Kumi ripping her from her grip of the dragger; he threw her clear of the crash zone, only seconds before Zeta slammed onto Bastian. The force field began to collapse, exploding along the force field walls. Bastian coughed spitting out some blood, he had been forced into a tree from the impact of the collision; he looked up as the dragon got up on its feet, roaring in pain as the rain began to pour into its open wounds. The dragon was struggling to breathe, roaring in pain and agony. Bastian looked further up, spotting Aika āMusou-san!ā Bastian paused coughing out even more blood āShred his wings!ā He yelled at Aika.
Bastian tried to lift himself up, but found it too hard. The dragon began to flap its wings attempting to climb back into the air. His climb was slower than usual, as he clawed at the side of the building trying to increase his momentum.

There was no doubt in J's mind that Zeta, if attacked now, would die.
Pounding an angry fist into the ground, J held back tears as he prayed to his Mother Moon. "Forgive me...I have failed you, Zeta...and because of that, you will die..."

Aika was out of breath. He had reformed every single crystal knife he had into ninja stars. On the ground there was even a man sized one Aika had made on the go. Still breathing heavily, Aika yelled out to Bastian.
"Dragon should be going down! Those will tear right through his wings if they hit! Try to catch him or something at least! I don't need his blood on my hands!"
With that, Aika from pure exhaustion from his overuse of his powers dropped to his knees as he faught to stay conscience.
((Turning a shit load of knife's into even better throwing weapons would wear him out.)

The dragon was desperately climbing into the air, as an onslaught of crystal ninja star began to rip through its wings; the dragonās blood pouring from the emerging holes in its wings. It let out screams of agony as large sections tore apart making its flight erratic. It had made it all the way into the clouds just out of sight as the last of the ninja stars made chase.
The dragon plummeted from the clouds, its wings had completely severed from it body falling close behind him, the dragon made no motion to struggle as its body spun toward the ground. It cried out no more, steam pouring from it where ever droplets of rain made contact with its scales. The blood mixing with the rain as it was spread fairly wide out.
With a ground shaking crash Zeta hit the ground kicking up a plum of dust and steam; this was followed by the crashing of his wings which ignited upon contact with the ground. The dust cleared, and in a deep impression upon the ground Zeta laid face down, naked and unconscious; his back scared and bleeding from where his wings once where. He wasnāt moving, little streams of steam still hissing off his body as the icy rain continued to hit him.
Joel rushed over to his cousin, draping a coat over Zeta. Zeta wasnāt breathing, and Joel dared not move him.
((Bastian, present day))
Bastian chuckled nervously trying to reassure Yuki of his condition, but somehow he knew it wouldnāt matter his wounds were too visible. āIāllāIāll be ok.ā He grunted trying to lift himself once more only to find himself falling to his side. He could only think to himself why he had allowed himself to take such a heavy hit.
Bastian looked up into the clouds watching as Aikaās ninja stars poured through Zeta, worried for a second as Zeta made it into the cover of the clouds. Blood began to pour down covering himself and Yuki in a small amount of blood droplets, Bastian scream in agony as the dragonās blood began to take effect. The blood was forcing his body to heal itself, but the immense force of large wounds healing themselves was a little more than Bastian could handle at the moment. He took notice as a large amount of dragonās blood had fallen upon the girl that had fallen from the roof earlier; at least some good news would come from this hell on earth.
Bastian was breathing heavily as the last of his wounds closed up; he shifted his attention back into the clouds just as Zeta began to plummet straight to the ground. Bastian was still too weak to do any spells to slow the dragons decent. He lifted himself to his knees, āCome on, we have to see if heās still alive.ā He motioned Yuki to follow as he stumbled forward; it was more than apparent that he would need some assistance to continue walking.

She wasent sure of what to do, but she noticed that his wounds were repairing itself. As it finished he got onto his knees weakly. āCome on, we have to see if heās still alive.ā Yuki nodded and went to his side, supporting him as he begin to stumble. Yuki then looked at Zeta and her eyes closed for a small prayer. When they opened, she focused on Bastian, making sure he wouldnt fall on her.

The last thing I remember was being camouflaged, flying away and then something hit me. Who did it... not that dragon... was it that stranger? He said he didn't want to fight me, which means... that idiot! Toya crashed into the ground quite softly, only giving off a small cloud of dust. He'd changed back to normal with a small hint of joy on his face, "Yaminaka-san sure knows how to find strong friends. Now that I know how fun this will be, I can't wait."
"-My, my what do we have here? Have you had a rough day at school Toya?" Masami stood above Toya with an umbrella that didn't burn from the rain, "The day that I finally get out of the house and I find you like this. You're really something you know that?" Masami looked up at the school, completely in ruins and that only brought on more of her anti-self-esteem speech. After that she brought her eyes over the others, spotting Kumi and Yuki. "Why don't you bring those guys over? They're your friends aren't they?"
Toya responded with spite, "My relationship with them is not how it seems. The only one that actually knows me didn't get the right first impression, making it a bit complicated. The others I couldn't really care more for than I would this flower that I landed on. Now why are you out while it's raining? Don't you know what will happen if a single drop touches you? I can't waste several weeks of my life looking after you. Hurry and go home." Standing up, Masami was gone before he could turn around. The pain from his wings weren't really relevant, his wings were only there because he could create them so if he goes to his human form while his wings had been ripped off it wouldn't transfer over.
When he got within ears reach he yelled to the others, "Well thanks for going through with my plan, now the school is sa- oh, wait you didn't and I nearly died while the school is now destroyed. You're lucky I'm not Saito-sempai or you'd all have detention for the year."

"Sorry Zeta-san.."
Crack! Aika's half opened eyes darted to the door. A mass of blurred figures rushed forth from the door. Yelling and screaming incoherent nonsense in his direction. Suddenly Aika felt faint strike across his head. Now, the world was sideways as his body drifted in the direction his head had been struck. With a distant sounding splash, Aika felt a strange sensation on his right ear as it was the first to make contact with the puddle of water. Aika found himself in the brief moment wondering if he was now soaked or dry. Things were not making much sense. Was it punishment? Was it happening?
Black overcame Aika's vision as he slipped away.

Bastian and Yuki made their way over to Zeta, only slowed by Bastianās weakened state. Upon arriving next to Zeta, Bastian sat down beside the boy too weak to support his own weight. āWho are you? Are you a family member?ā Bastian questioned the shaken cousin, Joel. Joel looked up at Bastian, nodding his head, his gaze quickly returning to Zeta. Bastian waved his hand to Yuki, signaling he wanted something. āFireā¦It might be his only chanceā¦but donāt give him too much, we donāt know if heāll turn again.ā He instructed her, as he began to check for a pulse.
There was no pulse that Bastian could feel, or at the very least it was too weak for him to be able to sense. To many people had been injured today, and all because of this dragon, Bastian wasnāt even sure why he was bothering helping the boy; but for whatever reason he didnāt want to just let Zeta die.

The fire balls floated mere inches from the fallen Zeta, the glow casting a better vision of the bloody mess Zeta really was. The fire began to spiral looking like planetary orbit above Zeta, it began to take a life of its own as an unknown force began to manipulate it. The fire balls swirled whirl pooling into Zetaās open wounds.
As all the fire disappeared into Zeta, he still made no motions. Bastian checked for a pulse again, shaking his head in disappointment. āNothingā¦ā Bastian whispered retracting his hand. Bastian looked at Yuki and then Joel, āThereās nothing more we can do.ā Bastian let out a sigh.
The seconds were ticking away, but what they couldnāt see was what was happening within Zetaās body. The fire was slowly shooting sparks of life into Zeta, like micro pulses his heart was beating away but it was too faint to feel; no blood was flowing anymore only the strength of fire.
Bastian rose to his feet with an old manās grunting; the pain was still too fresh in his body. āIām really sorry, we had no choice.ā Bastian apologized to Joel, his hand planted on Joelās shoulder; for moral support and his own physical support. Joelās vision darted to the far corner of the courtyard; he just wasnāt ready to hear this.
((Bastian, present day))
Bastian removed his hand from Joelās shoulder; Bastian wasnāt really sorry, the school and the students came first and he wasnāt going to let a dragon rampage harm them. Bastian started making his way back to the school.
Zeta let out a gasp, intaking an abnormally large amount of air. Zeta let out a small grunt of pain as some of his wounds closed up; the rain was preventing him from healing completely. Bastian turned around watching as Zeta was attempting to lift himself. Zeta looked at Joel then at Yuki, his breathing was struggled; he paused his eyes meeting Yukiās, Zetaās eyes werenāt glowing anymore. Zeta closed his crimson eyes, falling unconscious again; his breathing audible.

Slowly, and painfully Saito opened his eyes, they appeared weak and hopeless, no longer holding power in them. They usually intimated most. Trying to see what was around him Saito gave it his all to get up, but couldn't. He never showed to be weak but now it seemed that was happening. There were murmurs of students, this was going to be bad, and considering that he was exposed. Soon a shadow feel upon him, a girl with red hair looked at him, he instantly recognized her, Karen.
Looking down at Saito Karen bit her lips, the guy she loved was laying right bellow her half dead. The trees rustled as she slid down to him, the crater that he caused wasn't deep, probably a meter or two. She sat down on the dirt, carefully touching the wounds that were on Saito. Using her powers and picking some medicine from her purse she began to cleanse and heal the wounds inflicted on Saito.
Putting her hair in a knot Karen examined the small amount of first aid she did on Saito. The wound over his chest would close up, and it wasn't too serious. His wings on the other hand would have to heal on their own. She was no healer, but what she did was considered a good job. "Saito can you please get up?'
Pain was sent throughout his body, it was blindly unimaginable. He knew what the girl was trying to do, yet, he still couldn't believe how much pain had it caused him. Passing out as Karen got in the middle the only thought that Saito had was, "wow she's fast." Slowly opening his eyes, Saito saw Karen asking him a question, Saito can you please get up? That was strange, he could but a jolt was sent throughout the boyās body. It had come from his wings, he never expected it to hurt this much. Getting into a sitting position the male began to withdraw his wings. Wide eyes, and shaking from what he felt, slow cracks and snaps were heard but soon enough it was over. Looking at Karen he mumbled something before standing straight. Oh god the damage that the stupid idiot had done was unthinkable, what was wrong with Zeta, going dragon and wrecking everything was his thought of ditching school. If he wasn't as tried and worn right now Saito would have marched up to Zeta and given him an insurmountable amount of detentions. Heck! He'd even make the guy lose his summer. Yet, he was to weak for all the talking and complaining, he didn't want to answer any questions that the now awaken students had.
Turning on his heels, and walking away, Saito knew he need some rest. Rest was one of the few things that he usually didn't get enough of. Off school grounds and going somewhere Saito was not aware of what he was doing. Looking around he found himself in an alley way being surrounded by guys, each looked like a meat head. Soon he passed out and when he had come too blood was on him, the men that surround him looked like they had gone through a shredder. Limbs were thrown off, organs layer on the ground and yet he was unscathed. Taking a step back he crushed something, but now he wished he didn't look. An eye was what he crushed, something totally unexpected.
Running away from the crime scene Saito had torn his shirt off and what little magic he was capable of to have a shirt from a store be brought to him. This, technically, was stealing. Running down the street and passing some parking lots Saito looked around himself. He was in a park, yet he didn't know which one. Carefully he stepped past some branches, before tripping and being hidden behind a bush. Holding his knee to his chest Saito laid there thinking about the events, but soon enough his eyes drew together. As fast as he had awoken he was unconscious.

When Zeta started to breath Toya got a bit disappointed, no one had died. Sure it was a good thing but it would have been more memorable if at least one person died. Stepping up he gave a suggestion, "We could take him to my house, my cousin is a bit of a nurse and she could fix him right up. I can show you the way, it's not that far. That is if you want to, I mean no one's forcing you. We could probably get to someone else' house just as fast."
Great I just had to say that, how could I be so stupid. He didn't want these people to know where he lived. Masami will probably kill them so it won't be a big deal.
Toya started walking to his house since he really couldn't do much at this point. If they came along then they'd be that much farther than they are, if not then he's that much closer to home. It's a win-win situation and those are the kind he likes.

Aika sighed to himself as he opened the door to go back inside of the school. Decending down flights of stairs, it did not take him long to reach the exit. With firm steps the blood drenched boy seemed to ignore most of the group as he walked past them and went to one of the few remaining intact walls. From there he slung off his blood drenched jacket and placed it down on the bloody grass. Even though he had worn a hood most of his hair was still drenched as was most of his clothing. Standing on the roof had subjected him to a great deal of the rain and its effects.
Now leaning up against the wall Aika looked to the others. There was no smirk nor smile. Only a depressing frown as his eyes looked to Zeta.

Kumi was focusing all she could on holding onto the dagger, no matter how much she wanted to scream, cry and run away from the illusionary kitten rubbing up against her. "Focus on holding the dagger." She was sort of ignoring the noises and events around her. She trained herself to do that since she was little. She tuned in and looked up just as Zeta in his dragon form came barreling toward Bastian and herself. "A-"
Someone ripped her away from the dagger, tossing her into some trees and bushes. Only getting a few bruises and scratches, she looked at Bastian. He took Zeta's hit full on. "N-No.... NO!" She muffled her scream before she stood to her feet. "In the name of light, I sprout wings and fly." Crystal wings appeared on her back, a little bigger than usual this time. She was crying and so she flew to her house, landing in through her bedroom window.
(Kumi, 9 years ago)
Walking outside her house, she was talking one of her breaks she gets after and hour of her tutoring. Something seemed off; her father wasn't home yet. Then a gust of wind knocked her of her feet and she turned to face the person behind her. "Papa!" She jumped up and ran into his arms. "How was work?"
"It was fine~" Demimonde sighed and pulled back some of his black and white hair. "Anyway, is school still in?" He smiled and carried her inside, lifted Kumi so his shoulder.
"Yes~ It's going to be over soon though." She smiled sweetly then hopped down from her dad's shoulder, looking around for the tutor. He appeared to have left, so school was over. "Papa, can we go shopping?" She asked, following her dad out the gates as a response.
"Would you like this dress Kumi?" Her dad asked, pulling it off the clothing rack. Kumi just stared at it in awe as Demimonde laughed softly.

Francesi kinda just passed out from the shock of it all. She was watching the dragon barrel roll towards people then saw darkness.
((Ohes, yeah, and the Crystal Bearers for like a week, turn into their father's race. Kumi turns into a vampire~ Since they were originally and different race anyway. ^-^ Great, Originally, Kumi was originally half Succubus and half Vampire. Joel looked at Yuki, a sigh of relief escaped him. āItās alright, Iāll carry him.ā He said taking hold of the floating Zeta. Joel smiled warmly at Yuki, āThank you so much, you saved his life.ā Joel began to walk off with zeta before being stopped by Toyaās offer. Joel shook his head, ā No, itās better if I take him homeā¦ā There was just something about Toya that didnāt rest well with Joel, he turn back to Yuki one last time thanking her before running off into the rain Zeta in hand.
Joel had parked a car only around the corner, he quickly put Zeta into the back seat turning the heater on full blast. Joel stepped back the rain tracing along his length. He pulled out a rather odd looking cell phone, it closely resembled a dragonās head, and began to deal a number. The phone rang a few times before anyone answered on the other line, āHello, Joel is that you, do you have Zeta?ā The static sound of Aikoās voice came out from the phoneās receiver. āYeah, I have Zetaā¦Itās just as we fearedā¦ā Joel answered slamming the door to the back seats. āI understand, Iāve sent Suzume she should be arriving soonā¦ā Aiko responded before hanging up. Joel paused for a moment, putting his phone away; he feared for Zetaās future, without proper training he was nothing more than a rogue.
Joel entered the driverās side and drove off, catching one last glimpse of the school as he passed the front gates. After a while of driving he arrived at Zetaās house, he parked in the front leaving Zeta in the car as he searched for a key. He found on hidden under the welcome mat, which only added to Joelās disapproval of this whole situation. He got Zeta into bed, piles of electric blankets running on max; he sat beside the bed checking Zetaās temperature regularly.
He had places to be, a restaurant to run, but his family came first no matter what. Joel was dowsing off when he was awoken by a knock at the door. He sluggishly pulled himself up walking down the stairs to answer the door, but before he could he noticed Suzume. She had frozen the door knob and broken it off. āSuzume-kun, was it really necessary to break the door.ā Joel asked the annoyance in his voice sounding clear. Suzume rolled her eyes, āWell if you werenāt taking so long I wouldnāt have had to break it.ā She stuck her tongue out at him.
((Bastian, present day))
Bastian ignored the commotion behind him only thinking to himself how lucky Zeta was. āThis is the last time Iām going to let a dragon live.ā Bastian grunted to himself, still making his way to the school. He stopped as he stopped Francesiās feet sticking out from behind a tree. He walked over to her, kneeing by her side. For all intents and purposes she seemed fine just worn out. He patted her face, āWake up, youāll catch a cold if you fall asleep here.ā She didnāt move.
Bastian pulled a marker out from his sleeve, it was slightly damaged, he began drawing on Francesiās face; it was a rather odd habit of his to draw on Francesi and Lilyās faces when they fell asleep around him. He sat next to her, giving her time to recover; but mainly because he couldnāt move anymore he was exhausted. He cast a small spell circle, it shown light blue around his wrists, he flicked his fingers together. A light blue spell circle appeared over him and Francesi shielding them from the rain; the spell circle would flicker on and off as bits of rain hit it.

Just then, he noticed somebody lying on the ground, unconscious. It was that waiter guy. The one with the occasional horde of fangirls chasing him. He still hadn't thanked Ken for pulling him out from under that pile of girls at Ryuu Ramen, but that wasn't important. That guy needed help (again), and Ken was going to be the person who helped. No matter what, Ken always seemed to try helping people. Odd, that.
Rushing over to that guy, he saw that there was little he could do, other than call for help. He did just that, and spent the next few minutes saying things like 'You okay?' and 'C'mon, get up!'. He didn't even know this person, but he wasn't prepared to just leave them like that.
