ImageAnnalette felt Mason tremble against her and was puzzled. She noticed then the bite marks, bruises and cuts scattering his body. She'd forgotten about them, having forgotten about the humans lack of regenerative and healing abilities. Or rather, its excessive, bone numbing slowness. Still, she found herself disliking his obvious discomfort and he was surprisingly great in bed. In fact, she might've broken some pieces of furniture and ripped through a few eardrums in the course of their not quite love making.

"Mmm," her words muffled against his shoulder. Her tongue drifted over the cuts and scattered bite marks along his body, sealing them shut and allowing them to heal at an almost Vampiric rate. She still felt him shiver, however, and turned his head towards her, cupping his cheek in her hand. "What is wrong?" she asked. Had someone who knew her not known better, they might've thought she sounded concerned.

Annalette lowered her head to press a gentle but deep kiss on his lips. She didn't feel the cold Mason felt, seeing as such things as too cold no longer existed in her Vampire senses.

"Ma-" Annalette cut herself short, realising that he hadn't yet told her his name. Not that he had to, seeing as she'd known who he was long before he arrived in the mansion. After all, she'd seen him when Sarah died and a few times before and after that. Sometimes the sheer number of lives and people she remembered made it difficult to function. Sometimes she forgot who she was, the memories convulsing and bleeding into one mess of abstract colour. Still, she wanted Mason to choose to tell her his name.

She stared down at him, her eyes no longer a blazing crimson but a pale, almost colourless blue. Her fingers memorised his face with her eyes. He was startlingly handsome for a human and she found herself curious to see how beautiful he would be as an immortal. She felt as if she'd been shocked then, as she remembered how she came to be a Vampire herself. A band of Vampires had grown obsessed with the whore they paid to taste but they wished for more. They were curious to see what the already breathtaking beauty would become with the attractiveness that came with immortality and so they stole her humanity.

Emerald's eyes widened as she was startled by an abrupt kiss. She pushed against Chase's chest but it might as well have been carved of stone. Although, it might very well be carved of hard muscle. Yet as she pushed she felt her limbs weaken at the kiss. He tasted... Breathtaking. A mix of everything she loved and what might've been Heaven's clouds. She clutched the front of his shirt and pulled him towards her even as she whimpered in what might have been fear or desire.

"What are you doing?" she yelled. Or tried to, anyway. Instead it came out as a whimper. Emerald pulled herself away, her dilated pupils staring into Chase's warm brown eyes. Eyes that seemed so sincere, kind and caring, but she knew better. "Don't," she whispered, even as she leaned forward to steal another deeper, more desperate kiss from Chase.

"Don't," she mumbled against his lips, even as she unclasped the buttons of his shirt. What on earth was she doing? She was a virgin and she'd had one boyfriend her entire life, and that was in primary school where they lasted all of half an hour. Yet Chase was like a magnet or fine wine to an alcoholic. She craved him like lungs craved air. She pulled him closer, her brows furrowed in fury - for herself or him? - even as her tongue fought with his. Her hands trembled and she pulled them away, only to find in the next moment they were caught in his surprisingly soft hair.

Sairen's eyes caught onto Azura's blush and he buried his hands in his arms once more. He chuckled silently to himself and shook his head some. Humans were so obvious about their feelings. He almost found it amusing, but then he thought that she must've been feeling a bit awkward and he knew that wasn't exactly the nicest feeling in the world. He lifted his head to gaze silently at her.

'How is he not embarrassed?' he heard her think, causing his expression to fade into a deep frown. She then decided to distract herself from him and he couldn't help but sigh. His arms fell limply to his sides and he flopped backwards onto the bed. "My apologies," he said quiety. "I wasn't aware that it would be so awkward for you. Sometimes the words just slip from my mouth without me even having a chance to think them over".

Sairen shifted his glare to the ceiling. It was plain and a little boring but he needed somewhere to look so as to avoid the gaze of Azura. He did feel bad but he wasn't about to go and tell her that. "I was telling the truth though. Thank God you're so pathetically weak and fragile". And there he went again with allowing himself to speak without thinking. He mentally slapped himself and sat up once more.

A small sigh broke through his lips and he moved from the bed to lean against the furthest wall from Azura's location within the room. He slid down it until he was sitting on the floor. "I'm bored," he complained. "Entertain me". It was a simple command and he probably sounded slightly rude, but he knew Azura was smart enough to comply with his wishes without putting up much of a fight.

"You control your dreams, Love. Not me. You do whatever it is you want. I can't change a thing," Analise replied after she gently pulled herself away from Johnathan's embrace. He sighed. If only he was actually good at controlling his dreams. He'd make their surroundings as beautiful as he could. But, to his dissapointment, he wasn't able to change a thing.

He felt her hand touch his cheek and he smiled at the warmth of her skin pressing against his. She seemed warmer, but not by a whole lot. It was warm enough to make him shiver with delight. "What do you want to do?" she asked. He thought for a moment before concluding that he had no real answer to that particular question.

"Well, I'm not entirely that great with picking out activities, and it seems like there's not a whole lot for us to do in this world. I can't seem to shift it in any way.. I have about as much control here as you do". He released a sad chuckle, before he rolled over to lie on his back next to Analise. "This sucks," he muttered, crossing his arms and pouting like a young child.

Azura looked at Sairen as he started to apologize to her. Which was still shocking even though it was the secon apology of the day. Is it even day time? She turned her attention to the window but it covered by the picture she made. Oh well. Guess she won't find out. Turning her attention back to Sairen she watched as he moved away from he and slide down the wall now currently on the floor. "I'm bored," He whined and Azura almost shrugged. What was she going to do about it. "Entertain me" Sairen said commanding her to do something that will satisfy him. She wiped off the cookie crumbs on her short and pants before meeting eye contact. "I'm not exactly a girl with many talents." She said crossing her arms. Just cause she wanted too. "What exactly do you find entertaining?"

"I'm not exactly a girl with many talents," replied Azura. Sairen sighed at that. He was aware that it would be hard for her to think of something suitable enough to entertain him. "What exactly do you find entertaining?". He scoffed almost silently, his eyes meeting with hers. "Azura, I've been locked away in this house for over four decades. Anything would entertain me," he said simply.

He went silent for a moment, before he forced his body to lift itself up so that he could stand. "I'm going to take a shower or something," he informed her. "You could probably use this time to figure out how you're going to entertain me. I'm being generous with the time. I take long showers". He smiled at her just before he closed the bathroom door behind him.

Johnathan returned her giggle, but that soon faded into silence and was replaced by a smile. "You are so cute," she said, this caused him to blush madly. He soon found himself being lifted up into an upright position. He relaxed his body when he felt her massaging his shoulders. His eyelids drooped closed and he could feel her breath on the back of his neck as she spoke.

"Relax your mind. This is your domain. No one controls it but you," she continued on. "Because you're are experiencing this as a real world, you feel you can't control it". He felt the slight touch of the blade of grass she'd placed on his palm. "It is only what you precieve". He didn't understand any of it.

"Now open your eyes, and manipulate this blade of grass. But understand the truth". Johnathan opened his eyes and glared at the grass in his hand. In one short blink, it was gone. "There is no grass," Analise said and he nodded. He was spooked, to say the least.

Without even a word of warning he twirled his body around and pinned Analise to the ground. He might not have been in the mood previously but he was curious to see what it was like without any limitations. He pushed his lips against hers, before he pulled away, laying a gentle kiss on her neck.

"Azura, I've been locked away in this house for over four decades. Anything would entertain me, Then get a Tv! Not that hard considering his family was stinking rich! He then got up and walked over to the bathroom. "I'm going to take a shower or something, You could probably use this time to figure out how you're going to entertain me. I'm being generous with the time. I take long showers" Azura sighed and he went into the bathroom. "What to do...." She muttered. Juggling was a no no because she could barely do two. She couldn't sing for her life and the only dancing she could do was ice skating and that was more peps and twirls than anything. She laid back on the bed. "I got nothing."

After a long while, Sairen emerged from the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his lower body, leaving the rest of his skin to show. His body was covered in water from the shower and his hair dripped onto the bedroom floor. He scraped it back to keep it out of his eyes and inhaled deeply. He didn't allow his gaze to shift towards Azura for even a second.

"So, what you got so far, Azura?" he asked as he pulled another towel from his drawer, only this one was slightly smaller than the one he had around his waist. He lifted it to his hair and attempted to rub the moisture from it. He looked at her for a brief moment, before he took a seat on his own bed, his back facing her. He placed the smaller towel beside him as he waited for an answer.

Quicker than expected Sairen came out the shower. "Long shower my ass." She muttered but he probably could hear her. She shifted her gaze to him and litterally had to pick her jaw up of the floor. A small towel hugged his waist and covered what her perverted mind could only think off. Forcing her gaze upward she met his tone chest that held everything guy would dream of. The way his muscle flexed as he walked made her think even more perverted thoughts. The wet hair made every thing look better too. When he spoke she snapped out of it. "So, what you got so far, Azura?" Azura played with her fingers getting more nervous. What would happen I'd she said she didn't have anything. She was not going to have another panic attack. She looked around the room until her eyes gazed on the picture. "I could draw something for you?" It was more of a question than a statement.

Analise's soft moaning was enough to make him shiver out of pleasure. He never wanted the moment to end, he was enjoying it all too much. She'd had her time of being in control and now it was his turn. It would be foolish of him not to take advantage of that. And, to think, he could have this sort of power over her every single night if he so wished. The thought alone made him grin.

In that second, he had a grip around the neck of her dress and practically ripped a line straight down the front, revealing the skin beneath. He discarded the dress completely and tossed it to the side. His lips pressed themselves onto hers. He could spend all of his days in that position, but he needed more. He wanted more.

"You're beautiful, Analise," he said through kisses, his voice muffled against her lips.

Sairen turned only his head around to gaze softly at Azura. "I could draw something for you?" she asked, but he merely shook his head in response. "I'm not sure if I have any more paper," he replied in a low voice. He stood up and walked around to the other side of the bed so that he could sit facing towards her. He rested his elbows on his knees and his chin on his palms.

"I'm surprised that's all you came up with, Azura," he scolded playfully. "Your thoughts are quite.. 'dirty', for lack of a better word". The corners of his lips tugged themselves upwards into a grin. He tapped his forehead briefly before chuckling. "You can't hide anything from me, ya'know".

"I'm not sure if I have any more paper," Azura played with her fingered even more nervously. Now she was going to hav to think of something else. So basically, she was doomed. He got up and faced her and it tok all her will power not to let her eyes roam of his body once more. "I'm surprised that's all you came up with, Azura, Your thoughts are quite.. 'dirty', for lack of a better word" Those words suddenly triggered her blush to form. How many times did she blush today? Too many! "You can't hide anything from me, ya'know". Qzura held back a scowl. "Do I get any privacy?" She asked pointing to her head.

"Do I get any privacy?" Azura asked, causing Sairen to frown. "Unfortunately for both of us, no," he muttered in response. "It's not like I choose to hear whatever you ramble on about inside your head". His entire body tensed and he had to try to hide the fact that he was angrily digging his nails into his own palms as he clenched his fists. It was taking everything he had inside of him to not scream and shout, to not let all of his anger out and just destroy the room completely.

His eyes were soft as he gazed at Azura. "If you want privacy, think less," his tone was almost as soft as his stare but it still came out sounding like a growl, he couldn't hold that back. He then decided that the conversation was pretty much dead on his end, and so he stood up and walked over to his wardrobe to put on a new outfit, something simple. He was wearing a suit, much like before, although this one was darker and almost looked black in the darker areas of the room.

Sairen left his hair for the time being. He'd managed to dry it for the most part, but there were a few places that were still a little wet. He ran his hands through his hair and, much like before, scraped it away from his forehead.

"When I first found out I could read thoughts, I thought it was simply amazing," he started from the other side of the room, his glare fixed on the drawn picture rather than Azura herself. "But I sound found out it was a curse, not a gift. I am not the one to have received the worst 'curse' within the family, but you can understand that hearing the thoughts of other people is not fun. It's like walking everywhere and constantly having to be surrounded by talking. All the time. All around the house. Non-stop".

"There were times when I had to stop myself from scratching at my ears and forehead in an attempt to stop it. Elizabeth had stopped me on numerous occasions. Eventually I just stopped aswell and learnt to accept that there was nothing I could do".

Johnathan cuddled Analise close as they lay together in the fields of his mind. He could honestly say that he'd never felt more relaxed in all his years of life, whilst being overwhelmed with joy at the exact same time. There were so many feelings that he felt from Analise but couldn't quite put his finger on them, and not all of them could be identified. They were positive, mostly. Or so he could only hope.

His eyes shifted downwards to Analise's face and, with a large smile, he leaned in and kissed her forehead gently. Just one look from those eyes and he was ready to go again, but he couldn't. He previously mentioned that he'd never felt so energetic before. That was gone now. He wasn't exhausted but he was hardly in any position to do anything active.

"I don't know what I'd do if you weren't in this head of mine. I'd probably be lazily sitting on the grass in silence. As you most likely already assumed, my mind is not the most interesting place to be," he said. "A little company can be quite nice though. I know that I don't have to be alone here, 'cause it sucks just a little bit".

"Unfortunately for both of us, no," Was Sairen's reply to her previous question. She sighed. Azura already knew the answer, just a little bit of hope was all that was keeping her from going crazy. "If you want privacy, think less," He said buyit't was like he growled at her. What did she do. Azura started thinking back to the previous conversations she had with him. Very one of them were fine, except for the going outside thing. She turned her head to the broke umbrella on the floor in the corner.

"When I first found out I could read thoughts, I thought it was simply amazing," Azura could agree on that one. Heck, having any power would be amazing. Listening more, Sairen thought if his like a curse more than a gif. Must suck having to hear everyone's thoughts. "There were times when I had to stop myself from scratching at my ears and forehead in an attempt to stop it. Elizabeth had stopped me on numerous occasions. Eventually I just stopped aswell and learnt to accept that there was nothing I could do". Azura smiled when he mentioned Elizabeth. She sounded like a very nice person. Azura then noticed that he was glaring at her drawing. Did he not like it? Was it disturbing to see himself on a picture? Guess she will never know.

Johnathan wrapped his arms around her body as she pressed it against his. He couldn't hold back the smile that began to form on his lips. He could see himself lying next to Analise every night for as long as he drew breath. Then a thought crossed his mind. How would her siblings react if any one of them caught him and Analise in the act? She said she cared not for their opinions, but he did. He was terrified of them. Every single one.

Analise's voice broke through the silence, snapping him from his thoughts. "I think I love you, Johnathan," she said. Johnathan's breath stuck in his throat and his eyes opened wide. Of all the things she could've said at that moment, she had to go and pull a stunt like that. He attempted to soften his gaze as best he could but he couldn't keep still as his body was constantly trembling.

"I love you too, Analise," he choked out, turning his gaze away from her. It wasn't that he was scared, or that he didn't love her, he was simply just a bit too nervous. He'd never actually told a girl that before and meant it. Mostly it was just a trick he used to get them into bed. This time he truly meant it, and that scared the shit out of him.

He didn't love. He wasn't the type to love. Somehow Analise had changed him. She'd managed to unlock feelings within him that he never thought he had the ability to feel. He respected her but feared her for it all at the same time. He feared that he was falling too fastly, that no good would come of his choice.

There was silence between Sairen and Azura, and he didn't like it in the slightest. "Dear lord, woman, do you never have anything to say? Any questions? Any comments? Just about any form of communication would suffice at this current moment," he snapped, breaking through the silence. He wasn't intentionally trying to sound rude, but the words just shot from his lips before he'd been able to think over his questions.

He was frustrated because of the constant silence. This was strange for him. He was usually the type to sit in the silence of a dark room for the majority of his days, but having Azura around had shifted his personality a little. She'd caused him to see that socialising wasn't as bad as he'd thought, and now he couldn't seem to go for even a few minutes without talking. He growled at the thought.

"Dear lord, woman, do you never have anything to say? Any questions? Any comments? Just about any form of communication would suffice at this current moment," Azura flinched at his harsh tone. It was so unexpected. Especially in the silence around them that only lasted awhile. Azura thought Sairen liked the silence, which led to her only tho king than saying. No he was telling at her wanting to start a conversation up. That just screams bi polar. "Can I meet Elizabeth?" Azura asked keeping her voice calm not wanting to sound a little bit demanding. Last time that happened -and I repeat- an umbrella broke.

"Can I meet Elizabeth?" asked Azura. Sairen shook his head. He heard and saw nothing but peaceful dreams in Elizabeth's head at the current moment, which clearly showed that she was deep in sleep. "She's not awake at the moment," he replied, turning his head towards her. "Perhaps in the morning. She's a sweet girl but can have one hell of a temper if approached at the wrong time". It was more of a warning than a statement, and that only caused his grin to widen. "If you would like to join me, I was going to go for a walk outside," he added, although it came across as more of a question.

"She's not awake at the moment," Azura sighed. So much for a conversation. "Perhaps in the morning. She's a sweet girl but can have one hell of a temper if approached at the wrong time" Azura laughed lightly at that. What girl doesn't want there beauty sleep? "If you would like to join me, I was going to go for a walk outside," Azura was shocked he asked. Past time she asked -and I say again- a umbrella was broken. Shrugging she stood up and dusted herself off. Don't know why she just did. "Sure I'll come." It was better than staying copped up all the time in one room.

Johnathan's eyes followed Analise's movements as she propped herself up to eye their surroundings. A storm became visible in the skies, giving away everything he'd tried to hide in his tone and expression. "There is no rain..." she said. "Yet there is a storm off to the distance. You are uncertain? Fear of the unknown?" Johnathan cursed under his breath. He couldn't hide what he was thinking any longer. She could already sense that there was something he was unsure of. "What's troubling you?"

He could quite easily just get whatever he was thinking off of his chest, to clear the awkwardness he felt whenever Analise gazed at him, but he couldn't bring himself. There could be harsh consequences to his words. For one, she could think that he was trying to say he didn't love her enough to actually say it aloud. And, secondly, she could lose all of her feelings for him and treat him as harshly as her siblings did with their own slaves. He didn't want that, and so he would have to word his sentences extremely well.

"It's just-" he paused for a brief moment, muttering some inarticulate sounds as he attempted to collect his thoughts. "I've never said that to a woman before," his voice was trailing into a whisper as he turned his head to avoid eye contact. That came out better than he'd first expected, however he was still ashamed to admit it to her. To him he thought he'd made himself sound like a man who didn't love, and who couldn't love. That was far from the truth.

Sairen walked closer whilst Azura was busy trying to prepare herself for their little 'outing' by dusting her clothes off. "Sure I'll come," she agreed, her beautiful brown eyes shifting to meet his gaze. He sucked in a breath. Such innocent eyes, or so he could only assume. He could hardly imagine her being the troublesome type. She was most likely one of the quieter girls, one of the very few 'virgin' females. That would only make it more amusing for him to tease and flirt.

He stood next to her, whilst keeping a reasonable distance between them, and hooked his arm around hers. "Allow me to escort you to the garden then," he said in a soft voice. He began to walk towards the door, before he unlocked it and continued down the hallway, attempting to hide from any wandering siblings that might've been tempted to tease and bully him infront of Azura.

Surprisingly, Azura wasn't shocked when he hooked his arm with her. Is that a bad thing or a good thing. Right now, she didn't really care. "Allow me to escort you to the garden then," Azura smiled with excitment. She couldn't wait to see the garden Sairen was so fascinated about. Although he always did glare at it. As they walked towards the garden, Azura couldn't help but examine everything in sight. This was a whole other route they were taking. The other time, they were going to the kitchen to grab some cookies which Azura had almost devoured.

Azura was slightly worried that Sairen might get burned while they were outside. She didn't know what time it was or if it was daylight. Azura didn't want him in pain or uncomfortable while she enjoyed every bit of the garden. That wouldn't be fair. "It okay for you to go outside right?" Azura found herself asking.

"It okay for you to go outside right?" Azura asked, to which Sairen replied with a nod. "I can only assume it's dark outside, we've been talking for quite some time, you know," he said in response. They walked closer to the back door and Sairen sighed in relief when he saw that it was infact drawing closer to night, although only around early noon. They stepped outside but Sairen didn't bother to release his arm from hers. He had a plan.

"The garden is practically just a maze that was made for Analise, but I have my own special place that I'm practically dying for you to see first," he explained as they walked further, entering the maze. He turned several corners until they reached the large wall of a bush. He walked closer, seemingly attempting to walk into it, but he stepped straight through it with little difficulty, Azura still at his side.

On the other side there was a small area filled with greenery, and in the middle sat a pond. "This is what I stare at when I look out of the window," he told her, allowing his arm to move from hers and drop to his side.

(This was a lot to write! XD)

As soon as the stepped outside Azura gasped. It was a huge garden. Well, what did she expect from a mansion. She would have wondered off if it wasn't for Sairen's arm keeping her next to him, preventing her to go and explore. "The garden is practically just a maze that was made for Analise, but I have my own special place that I'm practically dying for you to see first," Azura couldn't wait. As they walked she started to grow impatient and aching to see the place he wanted to show her.

Several corners later, they come face to face with a wall....well bush wall thingy. She didn't know the proper term for it. Watch she noticed instantly was that he was walking towards it, no hesitation to stop. Azura shot a glance to Sairen who had a straight face on. Yea, it seemed he wanted to go through the wall bush thingy. Azura let out what people know as an 'eep' when they stepped through it. She couldnt help herself. It just a scary moment for her.

What she saw was worth the wait. It was like a garden withing a garden. Flowers were everywhere, grass was as green as it should be in the summer. The pond though was what caught her attention. It didn't look deep and it wasn't huge but just thinking about how it would freeze over and become a thin layer of ice so she could- "This is what I stare at when I look out of the window," Sairen's voice pulled her out of her thoughts. She nodded her head in understanding. She would look at it all the time too.

When he finally let go of her, her feet automatically went for the pond. Her hands playing with the cute little lilly-pads that floated around. Azura sighed as thoughts of her ice skating filled her mind. "Thank you for showing me this."

Sairen released a loud chuckle as he watched Azura began to play around the pond, and when the laughter stopped a grin wrinkled his cheeks. It truly was a rare sight for him to be showing such emotions around other people, especially those who were known to him and his entire family as slaves. He just had a hard time thinking of Azura as just a servant. He wouldn't go as far as to say they were friends, but they definitely weren't enemies. He felt like he could be free around her.

"Thank you for showing me this," she thanked him, and Sairen shifted his grin into a smile. "You're very welcome, Azura," he replied. "And, to tell you the truth, you're the only person I've shown this to". He moved around the garden, fiddling with the petals on each individual flower. He wasn't quick to return his gaze to her.

"Analise might know if it because she knows this maze inside and out, but this is my special place. This is where I come to escape the family, when times get rough. And the same goes for you. If ever you need a place to think, this place is welcome to you. What's mine belongs to you".
