Physical Description: Chilling is perhaps the first word that would be used to describe the prince of Helmvor. His black hair is streaked with blonde and brown, and his golden eyes reflect nothing of passion, nor love, nor kindness within. Peering into his hard gaze, an observer would note that they are permanently darkened by lack of sleep with heavy lines seemingly carved beneath his eyelids. One might only feel a sense of unnerving hostility, and cold ambition with a healthy dose of repressed malice to top it off.
He manages to be tall and well built without being imposingly large, but his presence is commanding nonetheless.
Being a military veteran, as well as a member of the royal family, his stance and posture are impeccable and his hygiene is second to none. He is perpetually clean shaven and maintains his healthy physique even during peacetime.
Beneath his clothes, Iscariot is covered in scars from a variety of wounds and strange, arcane seals.
He is typically garbed in the black and red of his order, along with the accompanying pauldrons, breastplate, vambraces and boots. Personality: Iscariot is as arrogant as his class would demand. His years as a warrior have only reinforced his sense of superiority over others. At his core however, he is a psychopath. He feels no qualms about performing his duties, whether this is razing a city to the ground or caving a child's head in. Guilt, melancholy, joy and empathy are alien emotions to him. Though he is an adept liar and manipulator, he prefers to simply be who he is and damn whoever might say something cross about it.
To say that years of war and being the unwanted child of his family have eroded his humanity would be the best way to describe the man.

Equipment and abilities: Iscariot is a war veteran, and as such he has a powerful build, sharpened reflexes and senses, and knows how to maneuver in sticky situations.
Unknown to any save for his superiors within the order, Iscariot is a Binder. A rare summoner of sorts that is able to bind portions of souls to himself and gain a measure of power.

Dancing Chaos is the Zweihander that he carries around, a symbol of his position in the hierarchy, the weapon is enchanted to leave the wielders grasp and fight autonomously.

The Eclipse Razor is his arming sword, ever strapped to his hip, he claims the artifact can cut through anything.

History Iscariot is the third born son of Basileus Dovarion Reinhardt Coorhaven XVIIII, the nearly mythical, current ruler of Helmvor and it's surrounding lands.
As the fourth born, and third son of the Basileus, Iscariot was given a military oriented education due to his distance in line of being his father's heir. He initially chaffed at this lowly position, seeing such attention and grooming lavished upon his brother, Dovarion Reinhardt Coorhaven XX as a waste. The pair often quarreled, with Iscariot receiving the heavy handed punishments while his brother was simply coddled. His second brother was not much different, though they saw more eye to eye due to their lower standing.
Iscariot never much cared for his mother either, and the only strong bond he formed during his childhood was with his second sister, Tatiana Miluiel Coorhaven, the first sister having been married away before his birth.

When he was 12, a marriage between himself and he princess of Coldoran, the kingdom closest to The Spire, was arranged. Negotiations took place, meetings were held, and the week of the wedding, the King of Coldoran sided with Sheldhein, a kingdom at war with Helmvor for several years.
This seeming betrayal caused the Basileus to push his son to further his military education and eventually to join the Order of the Blackened Sunrise. This was to be the last time Iscariot, and most others saw the Basileus in person. After that, the man retreated from the world and has used his first born son as a figurehead to rule in his place.

After his induction into the order, Iscariot, despite being the third born son, expected to be coddled and pampered as he had been during his education during his younger years. He found out that this was not the case among the order. Their honors and merits were hard won and earned. Being a royal did afford him some opportunity and pull not otherwise afforded to less nobility or the scant commoners, but mostly he truly learned the lessons of self-reliance and hard work. The other lessons he would have drilled into him over the next several years and campaigns were cruelty, malice, hatred, and that the ends justified the means.
He rose through the ranks through dedication and perseverance, gaining notoriety among his peers, and a degree of infamy among the populace and their enemies for his exemplary commitment to "the goals of the Blackened Sunrise."

Iscariot, having earned the respect and approval of his superiors has been granted insights into many of the inner workings of the order and has begun learning some of their darker traditions.
