There's so much more to life. I just don't know what yet.
Jace knows how to give orders. He's a natural born leader, and when he sees others giving up, it strengthens his own determination. He's loyal to those who have earned it in his eyes. He's also very unforgiving. He can't forget a wrong you've done, even if you are a friend or it was a mistake. HE doesn't let a lot of people in, but those who he does, he cherishes them, and will do anything to keep them safe.
He appears open and friendly to passerbys, but don't let this confuse you with how he actually is. He maybe friendly, but only because of ettiquete and polite manners. He's deadly when he's angry, and he'll let you know if his opinion of you has lowered. You can't help but feel you've either disappointed or pleased him, especially with those eyes boring into you.
Jace carries a sword, tucked into hiis belt. He has a dagger hidden in his boot, and a sharp, flat stone he made a hole in and thread through a thin black cord, he ties around his neck and wears as a necklace.
His sword is heavy, the edges sharp. Its beuatiful, time and care have gone into making it. Its also expensive, the hilt being encrusted with three small red rubies. His dagger is equally as elequant, its lightness means it can go undetected.
Jace also wear a ring on his left middle finger. Its silver, with a cresent moon inside a sun, engraved into it. his family crest.
Jace comes from a long noble line, who have always been close to the Emperor's bloodline. It doesn't mean though, he has the same beliefs, the same disregard for other humans, the same selfishness his parents possesss. In fact, he's opposite. He's lived in his parent's manor with many people; servants, maids, gardeners, cooks... But, he's never been close to anyone. Never had a friend. Although he'd never admit it, he yearna for companionship. Just someone to talk to, someone who's like him, who doesn't see the world as glorious and rich, but sees the suffering and greed. At the age of sixteen, he left home and has travelled down the shore, helping people in trouble whenever he sees them. After doing this for two years, he's realised he's hardly made any impact. And then, in a pub, he heard about a girl. A girl with no soul-mark. He doesn't know why or how, all he knows that this girl is going to make a difference. And he wants to help. He can sttill remember himself at nine years old, watching as his father's personal servant beat a little boy his own age to death, just because the little boy had walked into Jace's father. The first thought Jace had, that could be me. He's never seen any difference between rich and poor, ruling and ruled. And with this girl, maybe he can prove there is no difference. Or, show them the differences in people that really matter. He's made it his mission for the past year to track down this girl. Coming up to his nineteenth birthday, he knows he's close to meeting her. so close...
