her back turned to the darkness, Arria stands, her legs swaying in exhaustion. her long, dark hair blows in front of her pale face. the light ahead of her illuminates her skin, setting it afire. her full lips part and she draws a ragged breath, continuing on her way.

Amy sighed as she trudged on, her eyes weary. She wished she would have stopped in the last town for a rest...but she decided against it. Now it was dark and she was growing ever more exausted. She walked to the side of the road she was trudging on, plopping down on her rear end, sitting indian style dispite having a skirt on. She didn't care who saw. She leant back against a tree, and began to dose off, her mind drifting away to sleep. Little did she know that she wasn't the only one on that road...

Beinion continued down the dusty road, sword swinging against his thickly muscled thigh. his breathing was slow and he began to tire. ahead, he saw a lady leaning against a tree. tilting his head, he walked closer calling out, "are you human?" he un-sheathed his sword and held it before him in his strong hands.

Amy's ears perked only slightly as she heard the rather masculine voice. Her eyes opened as soon as she heard the familiar scraping of a sword leaving it's sheath. Her hand calmly went to her own sword, as she looked in the direction of the noise, the darkness hampering her sight.
"Human I am, yes. But is the voice that calls out to me?"

Benion smiled slightly at her, slowly sheathing his weapon, "That i am, M'lady. my apologies if i'd frightened you... can't be to careful these days." He drew close, his green eyes kind, light brown hair tousled against his tanned, sweaty brow.
"can i trust you?" he squatted down beside her, handsome face care-worn.

"I am a Knight, sir...just one without a Lord. My word is as good as any other's." Amy said, smiling lightly. She looked up at the opposing man. "Why do you ask of me, sir? What do you seek of me?" She said smile.

"nothing at all, Lady. may i ask your name?" he smiled warmly, eyes shining. he sat down, long legs crossed. he looked behind him to the darkness, wiped a bead of sweat from his tanned brow.
