Deep within the bustling cityscape of Tokyo, Japan, a tiny cafe sits hidden in the gigantic skyscrapers and many other restaurants crowding the area. Tengoku no Aji, named for the incomparable quality of its food, remains out of the public eye, tucked away behind alleyways and other buildings in a small garden that many overlook. Those who see the cafe have come to love the flowers out front, the comfortable seating, and the workers, all of whom put their best efforts into making sure each visitor leaves happy. XX
Here in this beautiful cafe, such a wide range of foods are offered that all manner of people are satisfied, all tastes and interests met with a meal that none have declined. Every recipe, however complex, was created by one young man, one young man who has yet to reveal his face or name to the public. The owner of Tengoku no Aji, the mysterious chef behind it all, disguises himself as a waiter in order to meet his patrons, and starts to form a bond with the peculiar young man who never orders for himself, yet never offers an opinion on the food he eats. As time goes by, the two grow closer and closer together through small dialogue, and one day, the unnamed chef finally decides to reveal himself- but only to the friend he has made. XX
