Mirror Pond

Sei: Sei continues to walk through the side of the river, the surrounding is just full of trees, he saw a small open ground with a small pond in the middle and with Alex standing at the side. "Alex! What are you doing here, away from the rest? But this is a great place to set the camp." he said to him. "Go call the others, we'll set the camp here. Just walk through the side of the river and you'll see them." he said to Alex and started digging a mound to place the campfire at the side where the pond flows to the river. He then collected stones to place around the ditch so that the fire won't spread. He then collected dry woods and old weeds and placed some in the mound and used the firestarter to set the kindling (old weed) on fire and blows until it spreads through the fire woods. "Well now about the salt, I can't make it unless it's morning, but I'll go prepare the shelter first." he looked for two trees neer each other (around 2.5 meter in distance) and a pole longer than the distance between and hangs it between the two trees. He then leans shorter poles on the long pole and ties it with vines and add shorter poles in the side, both left and right edge and add long poles again each tied to the shorter poles in the wall. and collects long grasses around the pond and uses it to make the roof. He filled the ground under the roof with leafs, grasses and other soft stuffs and made the bed. Done. A lean-to shelter. The best thing is it is in front of the campfire only 2 meters away. He them run around the pond and to the birch trees. He then brings out the multi-tool and used the knife to take off some fresh barks. He then rolled a thin strip to make it thicker. He rolls it tightly so that there is no spaces in between. The diameter of the bark is around 2 inches. He used the philips head screwdriver to made a hole in either sides of the seam from the top to the bottom. He then cuts off the strip from the top and the bottom that is not level. He used the dental floss to sew the container up without using a needle. He then ties it and cuts the thread. He then looked around the surrounding looking for a fallen log that has a diameter not much bigger that the birch bark. He went in the forest to find, but not too far. He then saw a log of around 3 inches in diameter. He used the saw and cuts of few disks. The wood is seasoned so it's dry. He cuts the edge of the disks until it fits properly with no space at all. He then goes back to the forest to go get some thorn from the blackthorn he saw. He collected many and goes back. He used the philips head again and makes a few holes in the side of the base. (the disk in the bottom) he used a stone as a hammer to help it make a hole, as the philips head screwdriver is not sharp. He then puts the blackthorn in the holes and hammers it with the hammer, not the stone. He trimmed the thorns showing in the surface. "now how do I make a hole in the lid?" He asked himself and thought of using the screwdriver again and bang it in the disk he'll use as a lid with a stone again. He then wiggles it until it gets big enough. He cuts a wood into a short rectangular stick, around 5 cm. "Damn! I forgot about the cordage to pull the lid up. He just used few more strips off his cloth and twist it like a rope. He then puts it through the top side of the lid and used the short rectangular stick as the peg and hammer it through at the bottom. He does it carefully not to strong so that I won't break. He then trimmed of the part of the stick showing in the surface again and cuts it off with a saw. The cordage is right in place and the birch bark container is finished. He took quite long from the searching and cutting but he stills have enough time to make one for everyone in the group. (based on real tutorial. Well that's how it should really be after all. Sei: "Hmm? Maybe I should let them know where I am." He said as he cuts of a wood from a tree. He threw it at the fire and waited for it to burn. The green wood started to burn after a while but produces a lot of smoke. The smoke rises, showing off where he is. "Well this should get them I think." He said to himself.

Sei was getting tired of waiting, but he is quite used to the hunger so he can keep waiting if he has the patience. He stood up straight and drops down straight to the leaf, grass bed.

as Alex gets back he see's sei laying on the ground. "What's up?" Alex says as he leans up against a tree. soon Alex sits down waiting for sei response.

Sei: Sei looked at them and said. "Oh! hi guys! I thought you'd never come." He said with a hint of impatience in his voice, well he can't blame them, he didn't tell them about it, so he is in the wrong.

Eru Erufu looks over at Natalia, gracing her with a faint smile. "Thanks, but I'm fine. I can keep up just fine."

Turning to Sei, he responds a bit annoyed. "What do you mean 'I thought you'd never come?' You never asked Natalia and I to come to this location."

In his annoyance, Eru Erufu began to grip his sombrero's rim tightly.

Sei: "Ahaha~ you're right, but glad you saw the white smoke." Sei was glad anyway that they come. "Well anyway, let me see your catch Natalia. I'll help prepare it." He said to her.

Natalia smiles as she lays the pile of fish down and looks at Sei "this should be enough for now, right?" She questions and glances at Eru "but if its okay with you guys, I have a request to fulfill first" she says this as if she's a soilder under authority. "We should be back shortly, but if we're not then just start without me" she says to Sei "I can always make you some Italian style fish another time." And with this she turns to Eru and Bella "you two ready?"

Sei: "Well okay, I'll go ahead and prepare the fishes." He killed of the fishes and started to prepare them. He scaled the fishes and rinse it. He just used his canteen and pour some of its water in it and washes off loose scales. He inserted his knife in its anus near the tail and draw it to the head, but it left it intact for the method he'll use. He spreads the abdominal cavity with his fingers and pulls out the entrails. He then gets water in the pond, putting it in the canteen and rinsed the fishes again inside out. He then collected hard sticks strong enough to support the weight of the fishes and cooked it around the fire. "Well, then all we have to do is wait." He said.

Eru Erufu shrugs. "Ready as I'll ever be."

Fiddling with his mustache, Eru Erufu sighed. Most likely, North Korea had fallen into anarchy in his absence. That would be problematic.

Natalia nods and looks at Bella. "Alrighy girl, lead the way" she commands her along with a hand signal, and Bella begins walking away from the camp site. Natalia follows and looks back to make sure Eru is behind her. I know he said he can walk, but im still not convinced. she thinks to herself as they walk. Having broken her ankle herself by a chunk of wood that fell on it back when her house was destryoed, she knows how uncomfortable it is to have to walk like that. She maintains a slow pace, so that Bella does so as well. This way Eru doesn't have to worry about keeping up with them.
