Personality: Shade is the type that always takes things very seriously, he doesn't like people who joke around a lot or people who are loud. He has the tendency to be very condescending and looks down on people regardless of their true status. He is also very matter-of-fact and frank with people, always telling the unbridled truth of whatever he's thinking. He may sound like a stuck-up jerk, but he isn't all bad. For those, very few, people he would actually stop to give the time of day, Shade is protective of. If you can bear through his rough exterior, at his core, he's a nice person, unfortunately very few have had the luxury of figuring this out.
History: Shade was born into a well-off family. His father is a prominent businessman and his mother, a doctor. They only had one child--Shade, since they didn't have time for anymore. They always expected great things from him, and so they made sure he had the best of everything and received the most prestige of educations. He enrolled in the FEP program himself, seeing it as an opportunity to not only protect his family but also to be the best at something else.
