Not good at staying committed to something
History: When Ali was seven, her mother died. Her once-beloved father went out every night, got drunk and then came home and beat her. Ali often ran away and did everything out of her way to avoid her father or at least ease out the pain. She was often caught stealing, gambling, and causing all sorts of havoc. On Ali's eighth birthday her father in his drunken state said he had enough of her. He left a few permanent marks on both her right eye as well on her left arm and then told her to leave and never come back. Ali grew accustomed to the street-life within the next two years, and also grew a few hobbies she didn't think she would ever have found before. She loved singing, writing, playing guitar, and especially painting. Every once in a while she was able to sell her paintings, but not many people wanted to get stuff from a muddily-dressed girl. To support herself otherwise, she got stuck into stealing and gambling (which she was already doing otherwise). Most men suspected she would be a bad gambler, judging her age, but she had learned all of the secrets to so many card games that she could probably win a man with her eyes closed.
Despite Ali's years in the streets, she never learned how to keep herself out of trouble. She had so many encounters with the police as well as numerous men trying to kidnap her. Ali also had trouble hiding her scars, as many people assumed she was a gang member after seeing them. This led to her becoming very embarrassed of them, and always wearing long sleeve shirts and sometimes even eye patches. One day, as a teen, she met the two friends who would set the course of her life. Penelope, who was three years younger then Ali, approached Ali with ease, desperate to meet someone new. A friendship blossomed between the two and Ali though of Penelope as her sister. Penelope's brother, Zachariah, took a little more effort to befriend due to his shyness. However, over time Ali became very close to him and might even have developed feelings for him. She eagerly joined them on the circus train, however found the hours on it monotonous and boring and whenever the train stopped she would disembark and stay out for hours or even sometimes days.
Personality:Ali can often come off as rude, which is normally her intent anyways. She is not shy to speak out, which can often lead her into lots of trouble. She's quite the romantic and chatty girl also. Ali unfortunately suffers from a gambling addiction as well as being a stealer. When Ali's cheerful, she's cute, bubbly, and quite funny. When she's angry, she might still be bubbly and funny but she'll also act unforgiving and stubborn. Ali isn't shy about her appearance other then her scars, however sometimes she steals pretty clothes just to impress her friends.
