A post-cataclysm world

Jin found a wooden pole and grabbed it, spun it in a menacing way, then stood ready. He waited for what felt like forever, and Tagien's boat finally pulled up next to theirs. Some tough looking guys boarded, so Jin turned quickly and hit one on the side of his head with the pole. He spun it a bit in his hands then took a low swipe at the other man, sweeping his feet out from under him, causing him to hit the deck hard. He spun it again and stood ready again, as two more men jumped from Tagien's ship to theirs. He shoved the pole directly into one of them, hitting him in the chest. He brought his pole around and hit him in the side of the leg, then uppercutted him with it. Three down, an unknown number to go. He thought to himself. The fourth man ran at him, so Jin sidestepped and whacked him in the back with the pole.

Aria lept at Tagien and they circled each other closely. Aria snapped at him but grabbed nothing. One of the other's tired to attack her but she killed him, there would be no mercy from her. She shifted wiping her bloodied mouth looking like a demon from the darkest hell. Letting out a blood curdling war hoot she took up a sword from the human she killed.
"It's time to show you why i am the Alpha of the Sea wolves." They were a blur of movement equally matched, Aria darted around and got his side flipping away from him nimble with her bare feet. Tagien got her arm and she howled in pain. All eyes seemed riveted on them as the pair did their deadly dance. Aria was about to get in a killing stroke when she heard something. Her pups were crying, she had turned instinctively for the fraction of a second. Tagien's blade bit deep in her side. Aria felt her knees fold as she crumpled to the deck, But then Tagien too crumpled with a blade in his chest from Aria's hand,
"This.. is unexpected...."
"Go to the depths." Aria spat weakly at him then coughed up blood. Oru picked her up in his arms. The babies were still crying, Tagien's crew now leaderless quickly departed once Oru had Aria on the other boat. Oru gently laid Aria down on the deck holding her hand.
"Hang on, Aria." To Jin he said "She has a gut wound, it missed her major organs but if we don't get her help soon..." His voice trailed off.
"The pups..." Aria said weakly string a little, "Jin...could you...?"

Jin quickly ran to Aria's side in a panic. He listened and nodded, and said "Don't worry Aria, you'll pull through. I know you will." and with that, he ran off to tend to Aria's pups. He got them from their cradles and rocked them in his arms, causing them to calm. He didn't know what it was about him, but he seemed to be able to make people calm down very quickly. He found two already prepared bottles filled with a specific formula for them, checked to make sure it was safe, and fed them. Afterwards, both of them got tired again, so Jin rocked them slowly until they drifted to sleep. He then ran off to locate medical supplies, but noticed there were already people with supplies running to Aria. He followed to make sure she was alright.

Jovi ran to the edge of the ship tense and excited, they had spotted a ship. they pulled up along side the boat and with a gut wrenching horror saw Aria covered in blood. the med staff was on the boat in minutes with a stretcher to bring her up.
"Quick! She doesn't have much time left!"
"Aria!" Jovi watched them whisk his wife away and was about to follow when he was Distracted by the sight of Oru and Jin holding two babies.

Jin noticed Jovi, so he ran up to him and said, "Here. I believe these are yours." Then handed the babies to him. Afterwards, He ran off after the medics. In minutes he was in the E.R. waiting room, waiting for someone to tell him how Aria was doing, just praying that she would make it.
