Home planet: Jonah first lived on the planet Ethera when she was little. Ethera was a planet that was full of hills, grasslands, and marshes. It was destroyed by Plazma, and out of the 5000 people who lived on the planet, 28 made it out alive.
After living in Ethera, Joan moved to the planet Kristalio. Kristalio is a desert planet with a population of about 3000. It is filled with thugs and bandits.
Intelligence: Joan is pretty headsmart. She's not the smartest person in the galaxy, but she does know quite a few things. She excels in fighting, hacking, and piloting.
Abilities/Skills: Jonah is a great sharpshooter and almost never misses a target. Jonah is good at getting out of tricky situations, and her fighting skills and athleticism help her in combat. Although she is pretty big, Jonah has good acrobatic skill.
Weapons:
- The Xela 5 pistol
Jonah's main weapon is the Xela 5 pistol, passed down to her from her father. It has the ability to shoot concentrated shots of plasma at a target, stunning or paralyzing them. The pistol can also be set to a grapple mode so that Jonah can swing from ledges, or use her pistol as a whip. Some other features include small green missiles that can be shot from the barrel and have quite a bit of firepower, and a scanning system that is able to identify creatures, symbols, and objects that Jonah doesn't know about.
-Ice bombs
Ice bombs are Jonah's secondary weapon. They are small white balls that have a tiny button on their surface. When the button is pressed, the bomb will go off in a certain amount of time, and instead of exploding, the bomb shoots ice everywhere, freezing anything in it's path.
History: Jonah was born to Skylar Saymer and Richard Saymer on the planet of Ethera. Jonah's mother was very controlling, so Richard divorced her while Jonah was still young. Richard Saymer worked at the G.L.P. and would often tell young Jonah about his adventures. Jonah took great interest in his stories, and promised her father that she would follow in his footsteps. One day, Richard found out about a Plazma raid on Ethera a week before the actual event. He gave his pistol, the Xela 5, and his hat with the old G.L.P. emblem to Jonah, just in case. The people of the planet found a way to put up a force field around Ethera for protection, but Plazma somehow found a way to get through. As Jonah was running to an evacuation center, she witnessed her dad getting murdered right in front of her. The image still remains in her brain, and she will often have nightmares about the event.
When Jonah and the other 27 people made it out of Ethera alive, they were transported to the nearest G.L.P. base. There, Jonah was able to find her dad's posessions and will. A week later, Jonah was sent to Kristalio, where she lived with her aunt for a couple of years. It was there that Jonah learned how to use her father's gun and where she learned to pilot. She spent many nights in Kristalio thinking about her father's death, and how she wanted revenge.
When Jonah was old enough, she finally joined the G.L.P. She was sent on many missions where she was usually part of a team. The league let her do some private missions by herself, but after a while, Jonah wanted to join team missions again. The mission at 12K-S is the first mission where Jonah is the squad leader.
Personality: After the death of her father, Jonah learned to be extremely tough, brave, and courageous. Jonah is known for intimidating people a little bit, but once people get to know her, people learn that she is actually more honest and sensitive. Jonah will go to odds ends to help those she loves. Jonah also likes to keep the memory of her father alive by wearing his old hat. Because of this, many high ranking G.L.P. officers know her as "Rich's daughter".
