Overall

Just like any of the other gods, Casteel unrealistically handsome and impossibly perfect. He's fairly Tall, but not over the top, with nice lean muscles, but not too ripped. His pale blue eyes contrast perfectly with his light brown and very well kept hair, and he's almost always dressed to impress. However when he's walking through the streets as a "human" his formal wear switches to casual, but still very nicely kept. He's not vain, because vanity falls under the category of emotions, nor can he be arrogant nor humble. He simply is what he is.

Personality
Casteel is as proper and well mannered as it gets. He's a gentleman in every sense of the word. Despite being part of the council, he's very understanding and doesn't exactly agree with their methods. He's fine with not having emotions such as love, hate, fear, happiness. These are human creations and humans are weak, therefore emotions make one weak. He's very calm and strategic, but always speaks his mind. He doesn't lie. He sees no reason for it, but he sometimes bends the truth to his benefit. He tends to manipulate others to agree with him and can often bring out the worst in people. However, he can bring out the bet in them if it's to his benefit. He's not selfish, but he doesn't do much for others. And if he were able to feel hate, his father would be first on the list.

Aidan quickly got to his feet, curious to see what kind of "quest" Abby was talking about. The only people she ever took to their place were some of the girls she hung out with, and they were already used to Aidan's mess. Who would be so important that the house would have to be clean? Aidan's first thought was that she was with a guy, and this did not sit well with him. Sure his sister deserved to be happy, but no man was going to come hovering around her without his permission. Just as he picked up his bag and was about to walk out the door, Roman brought up the banquet. He had completely forgotten about that. "right" he replied taking a few steps back towards the living room. "I hope you were able to get Leon's number" he teased with a small smirk. Though their college was hosting the banquet, they would be there as guests and so far Aidan was dateless. Also, as far as he knew, Roman was too. He immediately saw this as an opportunity. He'd call Cordelia later and ask her to attend the banquet with him. "If you didn't, I could ask his sister for you" Aidan joked with a small smile. Of course he'd do it for his friend, but Roman wasn't the type to accept offers like that. "Ring me if you change your mind" Aidan called on his way to the door, then he was out of the house and waling toward his own within seconds.

"You live here?". Castiel smiled a bit at the surprise in her tone and closed the door once she was inside, then walked around and settled into the driver's seat. "Not quite, it's my family's estate" he nodded as he turned on the car and drove away from the street. "This is my car though. I use it every time I come to visit" he explained as he headed in the direction Abigail had specified earlier. "Perks of being in the medical filed". Castiel wasn't the type to lie, but his father and the rest of the council were very picky about keeping up appearances, and to the humans on the mainland, Castiel and everyone else on Eden were doctors, specialized to combat this strange sickness. Castiel almost didn't want to lie to Abigail, but then again, saying something like "I'm a god" would sound very odd, not to mention conceited. They finally arrived at her place and Castiel parked the car, got out and walked around to open her door. Politely took her hand and walked her up to the front door, and then the unexplainable happened. "Good night miss Abigail. It was a pleasure spending time with you today" he almost whispered and placed a soft kiss on her cheeks. Several seconds passed before he realized what he had just done and by then he was already at the bottom of the stairs. All this planning and acting about to get her in bed, to walk away with her innocence and he just...left? Something was definitely wrong here.

Just like any angel, Leon hated planes. They always felt so cramped. The ride seemed to last forever and with every passing minute he could only think about two things. One, the fact that this woman may have very well died before they even reached the island and two, that devious smirk on Roman's face. He rubbed his eyes furiously as if it were going to fix the issue and leaned back against the chair, ignoring the odd look he received from Cordelia. He was grateful that she was there though. Finding the woman and transporting her back to Eden was his mission. She really didn't have to ride on the plane with them. But she did and he was thankful for that, otherwise he might have gone insane. Finally, the plane landed and they carried the woman out safe and sound and to the council's head quarters. Now came the worst part; waiting and hoping that she would survive the transformation. Too many lives had been lost because of it, and Leon didn't feel like watching another life be thrown away today. He rubbed his eyes again and turned to Cordelia. "I'm going to bed. We have that stupid banquet to go to tomorrow" he half groaned the second part. He was never very fond of big crowds of people, specially council members and angels. It was going to be a long night.

Roman stood up and followed Aidan to the door. "I will keep your offer in mind. See you tomorrow." With that final remark, he shut the door behind his friend. Locking the door, he tidied up the living room a bit and went to his room for some sleep. It has been a long and interesting day. It wasn't long before he was in dreamland.
Time Skip
Roman looked over at the digital clock. It was about 8:30pm. The banquet was at 9pm. He adjusted his tie in the mirror before stepping back to look at the entire suit. When he was satisfied with the way that he was dressed, he ventured out of his room and into the kitchen. He opened the refrigerator and grabbed his gallon of chocolate milk. He didn't think they would have any at the party so he would like to get his fifth cup in before he left. He poured his chocolate milk into a tall glass and took his precious time drinking it. Roman was savoring every last drop of his precious drink. He washed the cup and put it back into its appropriate cupboard. Checking the time again. 8:45. It would take him a while to get there so he finished his milk right on time.

When he got there everyone was mingling and talking to each other. Roman tugged on his jacket a little and smiled. He smiled at everyone and shook their hands. He was to be a good boy and represent how amazing the college way. He hasn't seen Abby or Aidan. He was kind of hoping that Leon would be here, but the odds of that are really slim.

Image

Abigail touched her cheek softly as she watched Cas drive away in his car. He was supposed to meet her brother, but that clearly wasn't going to happen tonight. But not that she minded. She still had to inform Aidan of who she was spending her day with. She walked into the house and immediately went into the bathroom to shower. She had been out all day dancing and she wanted to smell nice and fresh. By the time she was brushing her hair while in her pajamas she heard Aidan come in. "Hey Aidan. I'm going to bed. I will answer whatever questions you have tomorrow. Good night." The brunette put the brush down and went into her room. She slept dreaming of Mr. Perfect.
Time Skip
Abigail checked the bathroom mirror to make sure that every hair was curled to absolute perfection. She had to impress people at the banquet. It was medical banquet for very important people. Only certain students go selected. She heard Roman was going and it made her laugh. Abigail was having a hard time comprehending Roman being on his best behavior. Not that he ws bad it was just he was always up to know good. She was happy to see him. It had been a while since the last time he talked. And since their will be professionals around he can't embarrass her too much like he usually does. If he does Aidan should protect her. Speaking of Aidan. "Aidan I'm ready!" she called. Abigail walked out of the bathroom adjusting the dress. The heels were hurting her feet a bit, but that was because she doesn't wear heels often. She would prefer flats.

The angel nodded when Leon went to bed. He hated this part. Unfortunately, Cordelia had to watch the transformation because it was her job to deal with the newly changed angel. Once the council had a hold of her the transformation began. The woman screamed. Loud enough to ring wake up anyone. But the walls were sound proof. Just for this reason alone. But Cordelia could hear. It was enough to make anyone go deaf. The Council worked on her for an hour, but nothing. She couldn't take it. And she just died. Cordelia didn't have to deal with dead bodies. Someone else did that. The head angel left the room and went into her personal chambers to sleep. She didn't want to deal with anyone. She wanted to sleep.
Time Skip
Cordelia was laying her bed, staring at the clock. She didn't want to go. The medical banquet was going to be dumb and full of people that work for the council. The head angel was trying to think of something that would keep her on the island that wouldn't get her killed. But she couldn't think of a single thing. And as much as she disliked being with the council, Leon needed her so she wasn't allowed to just kill herself. Finally she got up, already fully dressed. She has been dressed for about an hour, but she was hoping something bad would happen so that she wouldn't have to go. Leaving her room, she walked over to Leon's room. "I hope you are dressed."

Castiel arrived early at the banquet. Not that he was all that eager to go, but his father practically dragged him out of his office and into their private jet. Something else he hated: planes. He could have easily flown himself over to the mainland, but once again his father didn't agree. They never agreed on anything, from the simplest decisions like what tie to wear, to the bigger and more important ones like stopping the use of humans to turn them into angels. He wasn't find of either humans or angels and would much rather just be on how oen.
As he made his way through the fairy large crowd that had already gathered, shaking hands and giving out fake smiles, he couldn't help but to choose the room for a familiar face. His actions from the night before had spooked him a bit, enough to keep him thinking about Abigail the entire night and what she could possibly be doing to him. But alas, he came up empty. He also wasn't sure why he expected to see her there. The odds of her attending were slim to none. He made his way to the back to poor himself a drink and watch all the hypocrites mingling about.

Image

Aidan pulled on his tie once again. He never did feel conformable dressed up and he always felt like the tie was going to squeeze the life out of him. Of course, he dressed up to his best regaedless. He always liked dressing appropriately for whatever the iccasion, and if this called for a suit and tie then suit and tie he would wear. Shame that Cordelia didn't see him dressed up this way the first day they met. She could have seen him today, but he backed out at the last minute and decided not to call her. He didn't think she'd want to attend something like this anyways. Plus, he had Abby to look after. If he got himself a date he wouldn't be able to look after her. He had a feeling that "guest" that never showed up the night before was going to be there and he wasn't going to take his eyes off her for a second. speaking of Abigail, he heard her call from the hallway saying that she was ready. He grabbed his car keys and phone and walked out. "Wow. Who are you and what have you done with my sister?" he teased. He lead the way out of the house and locked the door securely. It didn't take long for them to reach the banquet. Maybe about 10 minutes or so. After managing to find a parking space he get out and opened the door for her. "Shall we?".

Image

Leon stared at himself in the mirror. He really wasn't in the mood for this stupid banquet. To be surrounded by too many stuck up, pretentious, perfectionist council members for 2-3 hours was not on the list of things he didn't mind doing. The only good thing about this was that he wouldn't be alone since Cordelia was going too. And even this wasn't much of a good thing since he was certain she didn't want to go either. He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, then adjusted his name tag with his full human name printed on it. Leon Dallan Gail . It had been ages since he got to use that name and somehow it didn't feel right to use it now. After a few more seconds of hesitation he grabbed his phone and walked to the door, opening it just as Cordelia was about to knock. "I hope you are dressed." she said, stopping immediately when she realized he was. He grumbled something that didn't sound at all like English and walked out, closing the door behind him. "Let's get this over with" he muttered as he headed toward the exit. Within minutes they were there, and by the looks of it, most of the council members were too, including Castiel who passed them an accusing glance as soon as they stepped inside.

Roman was done meeting people. He walked over to the refreshments table praying that they would have milk. But the options were sparkling cider, champagne, or soda. None of those things would have him up keep the need to be nice. It didn't help that he didn't see either Aidan or Abby or Leon. Roman was ready to go home and just say that he was sick. He grabbed a can of Coca-Cola and sipped it slowly. Just as he was thinking of some kind of escape, he saw his saviors. The Lancings. They cleaned up very nicely for art geeks. A smile formed on his face and he made his way over to them before they could be bombarded with random people that wanted to meet them. "Nice of you two to show up. I thought I was going to have to have some random emergency to attend too." He chuckled a bit. "Abby you look delicious as always." He knew exactly what to say to make her cheeks light up the nice red color. But it was harmless. It was just to embarrass her. "Aidan I didn't even know you owned nice clothes." Roman patted his friend on the back, extremely grateful they even showed up. Then he saw a person he thought he wouldn't ever see here. Leon. He looked really good in his suit. A seductive smile formed on his face. "Look who decided to join us." Roman gestured over to Cordelia and Leon for the sake of Aidan.

Abigail pushed some hair behind her ear at her brother's comment. She had half a mind to change, but it was too late. They were already at the doors of the banquet. "Shall we?" The brunette nodded, not really knowing what she had just signed up for. She took a deep breath and walked in. There was a smile on her face as she looked around at all the people. Even attending a college, Abby was not used to so many people. Mingling was not something she did best. It was going to be hard to fake it for two to three hours. Luckily her brother was here to bail her out. Just in case she was having a social stuttering meltdown. Then she saw a familiar face. Roman. He looked really good. "Abby you look delicious as always." Not even two minutes into the conversation and Roman made her look like a tomato. She pushed more hair behind her ear. "I-I'm going to go and get some water." She headed towards the back where the refreshments were. She smiled and greeted people on the way. She has yet to make a fool of herself, but she might soon. Who knows. Abby made it to the table and grabbed a bottle of water and as she looked around she almost choked on it. No more than a couple feet away stood Mr. Perfect. Abigail was really hoping that she wasn't see things and he was actually standing there. For a moment she just stared at him like she always did. Her face grew red and she looked down. He doesn't want to talk to you. He probably has a date. She just stood there and drank her water. Abigail was really afraid to greet him. Being rejected in front of all these people was not something she had on the agenda for the night. The brunette stayed near the refreshment table though in hopes that he would talk to her or she would get the courage to talk to him.

Image

Cordelia placed her name tag on her dress while they were on the plane. She doesn't even the last time she used the name Cordelia Rosa Jones. It was from when she was human. But everyone on Eden just calls her Cordelia. She ran her fingers through her hair and walked with Leon into the building. There were so many people there. Most of the council members were already mingling. Cordelia spotted Casteel quite easily. He was staring at them as they walked in. Cordelia had actually been quite the good girl all day. Except for her minor spying on Cas. She needed to see if her potion worked. But it was hard to tell. He was always angry. Especially when he was with his father. Everyone knew about their constant arguing. It made Cordelia's life hard. The angel continued to look around at the people that had decided to show up and smiled when she saw a two people she knew. Cordelia linked arms with Leon and guided him parallel to where the two boys were. "Guess who." she gestured over to Aidan and Roman. "We should greet them. Maybe this time you would smile at him." She smiled at Leon as she started heading towards their direction. Leon didn't have much of a choice.

Aidan glanced around the room at the guests and decorations, champagne glasses and bow ties. It was a bit too fancy for him, and to be honest he would much rather be at home making a mess with vibrant and ugly paint colors, but he was mainly here for Abigail's and Roman's sake. Speak of the devil, Roman spotted them rather quickly and came waltzing up to them with yet another comment and transformed Abby into a tomato. Luckily for her, she found an excuse to leave. Aidan turned back to his friend with a smile. "You clean up pretty nicely too" he chuckled, assuming that that's what Roman meant by commenting on his owning nice clothes. "I'll admit though, you fit this scene much better than I do" he muttered, tugging at his neck tie. Then, a slow and flirtatious smirk spread across his friend's face. Aidan watched him in confusion for a few seconds until he explained the reason behind it. "Look who decided to join us." she smiled and Aidan smiled too as soon as his eyes Met Cordelia's. She looked beautiful. Even more beautiful than the day before, if that were possible. he walked up to them with Leon and Aidan bowed slightly with a smile. "Miss Cordelia. What brings you two here?" but jut as the question left his mouth his noticed their name tags. "That's right, you're in the medical field" he recalled, assuming that Leon was as well.

Image

Leon felt like all council eyes were on Cordelia and him as they walked through the room, and who knows, they probably were. Not even a minute in and he was already too uncomfortable for his liking. Luckily for them, Castiel was no longer glaring at the two. Mostly because he was busy mingling with other doctors, but whatever the reason, Leon was grateful. They continued to walk as Cordelia linked arms with him, just as she always did, but the next comment she made didn't sit very well with him. "We should greet them. Maybe this time you would smile at him.". Leon wasn't sure who she was talking about. It was only until they were a few feet away that he saw that devious smirk that had been burned into the back of his head since the day before. Before he could protest, she had already dragged him over and they were now face to face. His friend made a few comments, mainly directed at Cordelia, but all Leon could think about was getting out of there. He took one look at Roman and muttered something that could have been a curse word under his breath. "I'll pass" he half whispered only to Cordelia, but loud enough for the other two to hear, his cold glare not faltering for a second, then turned on his heels and walked off in the opposite direction. Where to, he had no idea. All he knew is that he had to get away from him. Of all places and he had to be here, where everyone was watching, where all the council members could see them. As if it wasn't hard enough to keep up appearances with all the members of Eden hovering around them, and now he had to pretend he didn't care for this handsome and seemingly perfect guy as well. It was too risky and too frustrating for his liking.

Image

Castiel watched as his father floated from person to person with that disgusting smile of his. There was nothing he wanted more than to leave. In fact, he was scheming in his mind of an excuse to ditch the banquet and go find her. He would much rather spend time with ABigail than be around all the hypocrites of Eden. Just as he was about to walk out with no explanation, he saw the face he had been searching for all night. He smiled immediately, as if by reflex, and casually walked up beside her. taking a sip from his glass. "What a relief" he said in a low tone "I thought I'd have to spend the entire night with people I don't necessarily care for". As he spoke, he took a good look at her from head to toe. She looked beautiful indeed, and still so innocent. Why was he so interested in her? He was no longer skeptical like he was the night before, but instead, he was intrigued. He wanted to figure her out. There had to be something about her, something that was messing with his head. Perhaps it was one of his father's stupid tests, but he didn't want to even think about that. "You look stunning" he stated, completing his remarks, and waited eagerly for her reaction.

Cordelia smiled at Aidan and Roman, but it was mostly for Aidan. At least she didn't have a reason to leave now. Except for Leon. She would leave for him even if she didn't want to. Family first. Boys and celestial beings afterwards. That was the rule Cordelia was trying to live by especially since Leon entered her life. "Yeah we are. I'm guessing you two are here because this is your college." It was the assumption based on what little she knew about the both of them. To be honest, Roman could be a doctor. Cordelia was having doubts Aidan was in the medical field due to his strong passion for the arts. But again she could be wrong. "I'll pass" Before the angel could stop her best friend he was lost in the crowd. He was putting up his cold demeanor again and she didn't know how to bring it down. There were too many council members for her to force him to stop pretending in front of the boy he likes. She sighed a bit. "Sorry about him. He has social problems." That was the best answer she could give. In honesty, Cordelia knew what it was about. She was just trying to help. But her and Leon could talk about it. "So Aidan. How is your project going?" Anything to get the topic of her rude best friend.

Image

Roman watched as the siblings walked towards them. One with the and the other with a not so happy glare. Of course Roman would pick the difficult ones to be infatuated with. Ro smiled at Leon, in hopes that he would smile back. But he was wrong. Instead he heard him telling his sister that he was going to bail out on this meet and greet. Leon had another thing coming if he thought Roman was just going to let him leave. A smirk on his face, he adjusted his tie a little. "I'm going to go make sure he doesn't get lost. Aidan don't do anything I wouldn't do." With that, Roman was off following a man after his own heart. It's not that Roman had a thing for people that give him a hard time. It was the fact that he has seen Leon give more emotion than the glare. He wanted to see him look at him with any other expression with that one. Roman was willing to do whatever it took to get it. He was trying to stay a good distance away from Leon so that he couldn't scare the poor boy. But when they neared a door that led out to a hallway Roman was familiar with, he quickly took hold of Leon's arm. Making sure no one was looking he pulled him and his love interest through the door. They were completely alone in this hallway. No one was around and no one could hear them. He released Leon and smiled widely. "You left and you didn't even say hi to me. I thought we were friends Leon." His eyes roamed Leon. "You look really good." If it were up to Roman, they would just skip the friend phase.

Image

Abigail drank some more water, keeping her eyes away from Mr. Perfect. She was trying to track her brother or Roman. But their were too many people around. She couldn't see either of them. So she just watched some people dance. It was what looked like an older couple. They were adorable in the way they danced. Smiling at each other and keeping their hands at appropriate levels. A soft smile for on Abby's face and she finished her water. "What a relief" It was Mr. Perfect's voice. She could pick it out from anywhere in the room. Especially because he was standing close to her. Pushing some hair behind her ear, she turned to face him. The soft smile was still on her face as she was trying not to blush. Her eyes roamed his outfit and he looked amazing. Perfect as always. Abby still can't believe something so perfect just crashed into her. Or that she crashed into it. "You look stunning" The brunette turned a light pink and looked down at the ground for a little while. "Th-thanks. You look nice as well." Abigail really wanted to say that he was perfect, but she didn't need to scare away her crush. She saw his name tag to see that he was one of the medical professionals that she had been greeting since she had walked in. Ambrose? It was an interesting last name he had. "S-so you're in the medical field too? What do you do?" Small talk was safe.

Castiel watched the girl's every move. That soft pink color of her cheeks seemed to be permanent. "I'm a doctor" he answered softly, nor sure if he should go into more detail. Of course, just saying "I'm a doctor" sounded so vague and uninterested. "Specializing in the research for the angel disease" he specified. That wasn't a completely lie. It was something he could work with. "And I'm assuming this is the college you attend?" That was the only reason he could think of for her being here. He was certain she wasn't in the medical field. Not with her artsy family background. He glanced around at all the attendees. The crowd had grown a little, and his father was nowhere to be seen. He only assumed he was too far to be able to bother him for the time being so he decided to the the opportunity. "Care to dance?" he said soft, taking a step towards her and holding out a hand for her to take.

Image

"Yes ma'am, all three of us attend this college" Aidan nodded in response to Cordelia's question. But before he had the chance to say anything else' Leon announced he was leaving and did just that. It didn't surprise him one bit when Roman announced that he was going after him. Aidan nodded as some sort of approval and watched his friend leave. "If it's up to Roman, he won't have social problems for much longer" he chuckle softly, taking a step closer to Cordelia. "I'm glad you're here, I was beginning to feel a tad bit out of place". The truth was that he still did, but not as much as when he walked in. Being with Cordelia put him at ease. He glanced at the dance floor. It wasn't too full, but there was a descent amount of people. Enough for them to blend in so his poor dancing skills wouldn't make him stand out even more.

Image

Leon continued walking, almost until e reached the exit. He wasn't planning on leaving, but he needed fresh air. He needed to be alone and just distance himself from danger, unfortunately danger had a completely different plan. Seemingly out of nowhere, Leon felt someone grab his arm and pull him out of the main hall into a very empty, very dark hallway with large windows. He blinked a few times in confusion, his eyes adjusting to the new lighting, hoping to be able to see his attacker's face. Fortunately he didn't have to wait to see his face because he recognized the voice immediately. ""You left and you didn't even say hi to me. I thought we were friends Leon." the voice said as the face slowly came into focus. He looked amazing even in this awful lighting. Although his insides were screaming, his first reaction was his usual glare. "You look really good." he said with that smirk of his. Leon's heart felt like it was going to rip out of his chest any moment, but he had to keep his composure. "What do you want?" he muttered, his tone as icy as he could manage. Then, after thinking it over, he barely shook his head. "Never mind, I don't care" he said just a tad louder and turned in the direction he was pulled from. He had to get out.

A doctor. That was interesting to say in the least. Not that Abby had any doubts he could be a doctor. With a face as perfect as Cas' he should be a model of some sort. Not wasting it in a hospital. "Specializing in the research for the angel disease" Her eyes widened just a tad. Abigail has heard many rumors about that disease. It was fatal and attacked randomly. Since it has been brought to light, she has been very careful about taking care of herself. Abby cannot afford to be sick. Even if only for a little while. Thinking about the disease Abby almost missed his second comment. "Yeah. Me and my brother go here." she added. The brunette rocked on her heels just tad as she waited for the pink in her cheeks to fade, but it didn't seem to be working. Abigail has come to the conclusion that she will forever just be pink around him. Whether he speaks or not. "Care to dance?" She looked up at him for a moment to make sure that he was actually talking to her. He moved near her and she could feel her heart start racing. Luckily, Cas couldn't hear it. Abigail was barely able to nod as she took his hand. She followed him to the dance floor. She held his hand with her left and place a hand on his shoulder with her right. Abigail felt more comfortable dancing with Cas than trying to talk to people she didn't know.

They were all college students. Every last one of them. Last time Cordelia checked she was around college age. Not that it mattered on Eden. There you were born again when you became an angel. Hence why she no longer uses her human last name. Roman left to go deal with Leon. It would be good for Leon to have something that cared about him that wasn't Miss Cordelia. She couldn't watch over him all the time and she would like to see her own crush as well. It's hard to do that while watching Leon. Cordelia made a mental note to make sure to ask Leon about his encounter with Roman later on. "I'm glad you're here, I was beginning to feel a tad bit out of place" Her attention was brought back to Aidan and she had a smile on her face. "Glad I could make you feel better, but between you and me. I don't really feel like I belong either." It wasn't like she couldn't fit in. She just wasn't someone who was loyal to the council. Almost every medical professional was loyal to those Gods, but Cordelia just wants them to drop dead.

Roman for some reason was expecting a smile from Leon. But that didn't happen. Instead, he was completely unamused or please with the man's presence. That did hurt Roman's feelings, but he didn't let it show on his face. Ro watched him for a moment listening to the coldness in his voice. Now he really wanted to know why he was so bitter all the time. There was no way someone was born this upset with the world. Roman now has a new mission. Get Leon to open up to him. Which means Roman had to keep their relationship at a bare minimum of PG. Anything extra might ruin everything. Leon tried to leave and Roman light took his hand to keep from going. "Don't go. I'm tired of smiling at people I don't like. He admitted honestly. He wasn't going to keep Leon there if he really didn't want to be there. Roman might like him, but he wasn't going to be a jerk. "Stay with me please?" He said barely above a whisper.

Castile smiled at how easily Abigail agreed to dance with him. He put his hands and feet in the right position and began leading. Dancing with Abigail was the least irritating thing he had done all day. They remained in silence for a minute or so, and Castiel didn't really mind. He liked watching her in silence. This odd, innocent witch like girl. It seemed like it was now his goal to find out what she was and what she was doing to him. Castiel, as discretely as he could, glanced around the room, scouting faces. Eventually he found his father's, which was unfortunately headed their way. Castiel huffed in annoyance and turned to look at Abigail yet again. "How do you like the party so far?" he asked with a slight smile, hoping that she would say something along the lines of "I don't like it" but he couldn't see her being so blunt.

Image

"well you certainly look the part" Aidan commented in response to Cordelia's comment. In reality, she did stand out, but in the best way. Aidan glanced at the dance floor once again, hoping to be able to gather up the nerve to ask the beautiful woman to a dance, when he spotted Abby and a man he had never seen in his life. He seemed a bit too close to her, hands way too close to where they didn't need to be and a flirtatious smile on his face. He immediately decided he didn't like the man. He seemed arrogant, and by the look on Abby's face, he seemed to have her right where he wanted her. Turning to Cordelia with an outstretched hand and a smile he asked her if she would like to dance. His lack of dancing skills were completely forgotten now. He had a new objective; getting Abigail away from that strange man.

Image

Leon almost, almost made it out, but he felt a hand grab his. It wasn't rough like before. He could have pulled away and keep walking if he wanted to, but he didn't...nor did he want to. He turned around to face Roman and the look on his face caught him a bit of guard. "Don't go. I'm tired of smiling at people I don't like.". That Leon could understand. He didn't like anyone of the people that were out in the main hall, aside from Cordelia of course. "Stay with me please?" and that's all it took to break him. Not that he'd let it show that easily, no matter how badly he wanted to say that he wanted to stay with him more than anything. But instead, he sighed softly and turned to face him completely. "Fine" he muttered, his tone just barely noticeably softer. He could feel his resolve starting to crumble, but he was still determined not to let it. Not yet, and specially not here. Even if no one could see them in this hallway, he was still afraid.

Abby continued to dance with Cas in silence. Enjoying being with him again. It was almost like yesterday was some kind of dream. She was glad that it wasn't. The last thing she wants is to wake up and be told that Mr. Perfect never existed. Just that thought alone started to sadden Abby. She didn't want Cas to be a dream. He felt real for now and that was all she needed to make it through this party. "How do you like the party so far?" That question had many different answers to it. Abigail didn't want to be rude to the people hosting the party, by saying it was too formal and annoying. But she didn't want to lie. She couldn't lie even if she wanted too. Anyone lying to face like Cas has no soul. He is not someone you could easily lie too. "Umm well its better now that I have someone to dance with." Abigail wouldn't have stayed the whole time if it were up to her. Faking anything to go to the studio would have been better than this. But this is great now. Dancing with Cas is the most the fun she has had since she has woken up this morning.

Image

Cordelia moved some hair behind her ear as she was talking to Aidan. Adjusting the dress on her body she gave a quick look around for Leon. But he wasn't even in the room. She was hoping that he didn't just ditch her at the party. The angel wouldn't be happy if he did that. They both had to suffer at the party. No if, ands, or buts about it. Hopefully he turns up later. Aidan pulled her from her thoughts when he asked Cordelia to dance. She nodded and took his hand. "I just want to say that I'm not really food at dancing." She wanted to warn him just in case he was really god at dancing. She wouldn't want to mess up in front of him. She got her hands around him and waited for Aidan before they started to dance.

Image

Roman couldn't believe that he convinced the cold hearted man to stay with him. He was sure that he would get a glare and rip away from him. His heart warmed and he slowly released Leon's hand. But he regretted it immediately. He liked being close with people. It was what he did. But he couldn't hold onto Leon's hand for long. Through the doors you could still here the music and that gave Roman an idea. "Leon would you like to dance with me?" He asked, extending a hand out to him. Being rejected was not an option. Roman doesn't really enjoy taking 'no' for an answer.

Castiel nodded in agreement to Abigail's answer. Truth is, if it wasn't for her, he would have made up some excuse to ditch the party. All his least favorite people gathered in one location would not have been his ideal night, but Abby had shown up and saved his night. By the answer she gave him, she was thinking the same thing. Castiel watched her, mainly her facial features, admiring every bit of innocence she had. A small strand of hair feel over her eyes and he carefully tucked it behind her ear just as she always did, his gaze not leaving hers for an instant. That is until he saw a familiar face walking closer, actually, two familiar faces. Cordelia was with that same man from the cafe. The man that Castiel had determined was Abigail's brother. And by the look that man was giving him, he didn't seem too fond of Castiel. That didn't bother him in the slightest though, what did bother him was the fact that Cordelia was with him yet again. The man that just so happened to be Abigail's brother. Abigail, the girl that seemed to have put a spell on him somehow. It couldn't all just be a happy coincidence.

Image

Cordelia took his hand, warning him that she wasn't very good at dancing, and Aidan couldn't help but smile. If only she knew. "You can't be any worse than me" he assured her, and he firmly believed that. Abigail seemed to have received all of the dancing genes because he had absolutely nothing going for him in that department. He lead Cordelia onto the dance floor, searching for an empty spot near his sister and the stranger. Once he found it, he headed straight for it, making sure to give the man the "look" that he usually gave any boy that even thought about coming near his little sister. However, unlike the rest, this man didn't seemed phased. To make matters worse, he was staring right at Cordelia. How dare he check out another woman while he's dancing with Abigail? Then again, they could just know each other. Aidan felt stupid for jumping to conclusions, but regardless, he had to get him away from Abby. "Who is that?" he questioned once they were close enough to see them, but far enough that they couldn't hear each other's conversation.

Image

Roman slowly let go of his hand and Leon couldn't help but feel embarrassed at how disappointed he felt Luckily it was dark because he could fee his cheeks heating up yet again. This time Cordelia wouldn't come to his rescue, she was too busy flirting. Not that he wasn't happy for her. He really was happy that she found someone she liked other than himself. Luckily for her, she didn't have to pretend not to like him because it would be considered "imperfect" or whatever reason the council liked to use to make Leon's life a living hell. Speaking of Cordelia, he thought he'd pass her a quick message to let her know he was still in the building. He pulled his phone out to do so, but was interrupted and very much distracted by Roman's question. "here?...In a dark empty hallway?" Leon questioned, an unamused tone in his voice, while his insides screamed YES as loud as they could. "No thanks" He hesitated then turned slightly and took a few steps towards the way to the main hall, then stopped, cursed himself for being so weak and turned back around. "Just one" he stated firmly, putting his phone back in his pocket. He wanted to dance with him very much, but he sure as hell wouldn't do it out there where everyone could see them. His resolve was crumbling quickly, but he stood his ground by keeping a safe distance from the man and a somewhat cold expression.

Abigail continued to blush as Casteel just stared at her. But she couldn't look away this time. She was enjoying looking at him look at her. He wasn't exactly smiling, but he looked happy. Happier than when she first saw him this evening. Mr. Perfect looked like someone who needed to smile all the time. She would happily be the one to do that for him. That thought kept going through her head. I want to make Mr. Perfect happy It was on instant replay. For a moment it was the only thing she heard in her head. Not that it really mattered. Unless Cas could read minds, her thoughts were safe. Give his face a break from her eyes, she gave a quick glance around the room. Her eyes caught Aidan's, but she wasn't happy about what it looked like he was doing. Abby looked at her brother with a small glare. He was not allowed to ruin this for her. Her attention returned to her dance partner, and she rested her head on his chest. A small smile formed on her face. The gentle sway to the music was more than enough to get through the night. But Aidan would not be happy if he ruined this for Abby.

Image

Cordelia followed Aidan towards an empty spot to dance. When she saw where he was headed her eyes widened a bit. She was trying to stay as far away from Cas as possible. Yet here she was. Dancing near him. The angel gave the god a once over and then paid attention to her date of the evening. Their dancing was simple so that the people around them couldn't tell they had no dancing skill. Cordelia was actually into the dance, paying attention to the words of the music, and trying to enjoy the time she was having with Aidan. "Who is that?" At first she was about to ask who, but then she realized he was talking about Casteel. Cordelia wanted to tell Aidan that he was a heartless jerk that assist in the kidnapping of innocent human beings. But she held her tongue. She looked over in Cas' and the girl he was dancing with direction once more. She felt a bit bad for whoever he was dancing with. "I work for him with the angel disease." Honesty was the best policy. Unless the truth could get the person killed. Than this half lie was more than enough. She didn't work for him. She worked for his dad, but she just wasn't allowed to openly disrespect him. Cordelia has yet to follow any orders given by Cas. In reality she has tried to mess up his life. That reminded her. She looked at him dancing. She couldn't tell if her potion was working. If Leon was here, she could get him to help her figure it out.

Image

Roman was getting rather anxious waiting for the answer. He wanted to just grab Leon and dance with him, no questions asked. But that would technically be assault if the blonde resisted. It was best if Leon agreed with him. "here?...In a dark empty hallway?" Roman nodded, but he wasn't happy with how unamused Leon sounded. Granted that was just his voice. He was still hopeful that Leon would give Ro a chance tonight. "No thanks" The frown was clear on his face as Leon turned to leave. Roman doesn't usually get rejected. Ever. He was too persistent to accept no's from anyone. He was way to handsome and charming for anyone to say no to him. Roman was ready to stop him and try again, but then a miracle happened. Leon turned around to agree to one dance. That was all Roman needed. His frown quickly turned back into a small smile. Roman took hold of Leon's hand and pulled him closer. Not to close to cause discomfort, but close enough. A hand found his waist and he raised the other hand. Once Leon loosened up a little, Roman started to dance with the cute stranger. But of course Roman can't really keep his mouth shut. "Can I ask you something?" He wasn't waiting long enough to hear Leon say no again. "Why do you always seem angry, Leon?" Roman was referring to the glares, the harsh tone, the standoffish attitude, and the barely qualify as sentences speech. "I am just curious."

Castiel s attention was completely devided. He wanted to pay attention to nothing and no one other than Abigail, but his instincts told him to keep an eye on Cordelia. He continued to switch his gaze between his dancing partner and the rebellious angel. His eyes met Cordelia's for an instant and he gave her one of those looks that she knew fairly well. The look that said "I know you're up to something" and Cordelia knew Castiel well enough to be certain that he wouldn't rest until he figured it out. His attention remained on her and her dance partner, that is until he felt a soft pressure against his chest. He glanced down and couldn't help but to smile a bit when he realized it was Abigail, resting against his chest. His arms tightened around her waist the slightest bit, bringing her maybe a few centimeters closer, and he continued to follow along with the beat of the song. The subject of Cordelia left his mind completely, as if he had never been thinking about it in the first place. Any other time he would have noticed the change in himself immediately, but the warm touch of this human girl seemed to be blocking any use of common sense.

Image

Aidan had half a mind to run up and pull Abigail away from the strange man and as far away from there as possible, specially after seeing how close she seemed to be with him already. In fact, he was seconds from doing so, but Cordelia's answer stopped him dead in his tracks. "Oh he's your boss?". It probably wasn't the best idea to attack him after all. "Is he married? Does he have a girlfriend of any sort? Is he some sort of man whore?" at this point Aidan didn't care if he sounded crazy or over protective, he needed to know what this man was like because, by the looks of it, Abigail was already way too into him. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to disrespect him but he better not be trying to get into my sister's pants" he said both apologetically and with a threatening tone. "I don't like the way he's looking at her" he muttered, keeping an eye on the pair. Cordelia probably thought he was insane, most likely, but Abigail is the only family he has and he would do anything to protect her.

Image

Leon regretted his decision as soon as the words left his mouth. Why was he doing this to himself? He had a bad habit of setting himself up for heartache and this time was no different. Roman seemed to like his looks, and that's all people ever liked about him. No one ever tried to go deeper and he had no reason to believe this time was different. Not to mention the fact that this man was human and mortal, aside from the fact he was male. If the council ever found out… his thoughts were interrupted when he felt a hand on his waist and realized soon after that they were now dancing. He lowered his gaze to stare at his chest. He didn't dare to look him in the eyes because, no matter how harsh Leon made himself look and sound, his eyes almost always gave him away.  "Can I ask you something?" He didn't give him much time to respond.  "Why do you always seem angry, Leon?". Leon only continued to stare at the ground. "Does it matter?". The truth was, there were so many reasons Leon could give him. Like the fact he had been hurt one too many times, the fact he had to abandon his family, the fact that every second of every day he had to hide who he really was both from the council and from humans like him or the fact that without his glares and cold attitude he would have crumbled long ago. But of course he couldn't tell him any of this. So he settled for a simple answer. "It's safer".

Abigail tried not to focus on her brother and the girl he was with. She just wanted to have a good time. And she was going to have one. The brunette kept her head on Cas' chest as they danced together. Her eyes closed so that she could focus on the music and his warmth. It was almost as if no one else was around. She felt Mr. Perfect pull her even closer. By the way they were acting, you would believe that no one else was in the room. It was like they were back at the studio. Just a stereo and them. A brighter more genuine smile formed on Abby's face. Now she didn't want to leave the party. In fear this would be the final time she would ever get to hold a man this perfect. The last time she would get to hold a moment and call it her own. It needs to continue beyond the end of the party. Beyond tomorrow. Forever. Abby wanted forever. To live in this moment with him, forever. Abby could think of nothing greater. Besides getting her teaching degree. Just then someone taped her shoulder and she was almost dragged back into the reality she was trying to escape. An elder man that almost looked like Cas, stood before the dancing couple. He smiled as politely as he could at Miss Abigail. "Hello Miss. Mind if I steal my son?" Abby's smile faded a bit and shook her head lightly. Of course she minded. Taking away her only perfect thing in the world. She moved away from Cas a bit.

It was evident how much Aidan cared for his sister. It was how Cordelia felt about Leon. She would do just about anything for him. If Roman turned out to be a threat, she would end him as well. But Leon likes him, so Cordelia is being forced to play nice. But at the same time she is also trying to give Leon his happiness. The angel gave one more look over at the couple dancing. Then out of no where she saw a smile. And not the fake smile that everyone was used to. Casteel actually smiled at the young girl he was holding. This was good news to Cordelia, possibly bad news for Aidan. The angel was trying very hard to contain her happiness. Her potion had worked which meant that the council would fail from the inside out. If she wasn't already dancing, she would have broke out in a miniature celebratory dance. "Is he married? Does he have a girlfriend of any sort? Is he some sort of man whore?" Cordelia raised an eyebrow at the amount questions Aidan was asking. "I'm not sure." The angel tried to avoid Cas in all aspects of his life. She knows nothing about him. Besides he disregards human life like the rest of the council. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to disrespect him but he better not be trying to get into my sister's pants" Cordelia could understand how he was feeling. If Aidan couldn't tell, by the way Cas was looking at his sister it wasn't like prey. Almost like care or compassion. Cordelia couldn't wait to tell Leon. Just then head council member also known as Casteel's father broke up the couple. It was what Aidan wanted anyway. Cordelia didn't even look at the head council member. He didn't like her either. "I'm going to text Leon really quickly. Just to make sure Roman hasn't kidnapped him." she said teasingly.
[TO] Leon
[MSG] I hope you are playing nice with Roman. Also IT WORKED! Casteel has feelings. You should see how he feels about the human girl he was dancing with. I'm so excited. So be happy our night just got better.

The message was sent and her attention was back on Aidan.

Roman didn't like the lack of eye contact Leon was giving him. But at least he was dancing. It was a start in whatever relationship they were having. Roman was still debating whether or not to try and just be friends or get more. He was leaning towards getting a bit more than an occasional hello. He would like to attack Leon's face without permission as well. But later. Right now, Roman was to get to know his cute stranger. "It's safer" Leon finally responded to the question and it just left Roman with even more questions. What was safer? Who is safer for? Who is he protecting? Is there anything Roman could do to help? There were just many questions of that nature floating around in his mind. Roman didn't have much of a filter and would not have a problem asking all of these questions. But he didn't want to scare Leon. They were finally holding each other. "Who is it safer for?" He kept dancing, looking at Leon, attempting to find his eyes. It was hard. Eventually Leon would have to look at him. "Are you in hiding?" By that he meant 'was Leon hiding his homosexuality.' Roman was completely open with no shame. He was kind of hoping Leon was the same.

Castiel was enjoying the warmth coming from Abigail more than he would have liked to admit. He held her close, the smile very evident on his face, and he didn't even mind. He didn't care to mind. Everything seemed alright, perfect…but it didn't last long. "Hello Miss. Mind if I steal my son?". His smile immediately evaporated at the sound of that voice. Abigail moved away from him and he quickly snapped his head around to look at the man. "She minds" Cas all but growled at his father, whom responded with a glare. "Castiel I would appreciate it if you listened to me for once in your life". Castiel sneered at the man and took a step closer. "And by listen you mean let you puppet me around like you do with everyone else, right?". He could feel his face heating up, which was new. Castiel and his father argued constantly, but the lack of emotion prevented it from escalating. This time it was different.

Image

There were so many more questions Aidan wanted to ask Cordelia about this man, but by her reaction, she wasn't very fond of him. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable with his overprotective tendencies. He remained quiet and continued to dance slow enough that he wouldn't mess up. She then asked if she could check on her brother and Aidan nodded with a small smile. He wondered if Roman had been able to get anywhere with the boy. He'd have to ask him later, and tease him a little. No one had ever rejected his friend so coldly before. He was interested to see what would happen. "Take your time" he added. He continued to watch Abigail, just as another man walked up to the two. Judging on looks alone, the man was the stranger's father or older brother at the very least. Aidan pondered the opportunity to walk up and pull Abigail away from the two while they were speaking. Part of him wanted to go for it, but another part of him didn't want to leave Cordelia dancing on her own, so he remained in his spot for her sake.

Image

Leon's gaze remained glued to the floor. Roman's questions caught him by surprise, mostly because he didn't know what to answer. Was he in hiding? Yes, constantly, but he couldn't tell him why. Of course, he had an idea of what Roman meant by asking that. He was obviously more clever than he looked. He could feel Roman's gaze burning his skin, but he refused to look up. "Hiding from what?" he muttered, even though he knew what he meant, he wanted the straight answer from Roman himaelf. In the meantime he could figure out how to answer. Perhaps the best option was to lie. A lie big enough that would push Roman away for good. That would keep him a safe distance from him. His eyes wandered from tile to tile when he heard his phone buzz yet again. He pulled it out, still keeping up with Roman's steps, and read the message from Cordelia. A small smile spread across his lips. This was good. Good news indeed. This could be the start of so much. Perhaps it could be the start of his way to freedom, a world where he won't have to hide anything from anyone. He quickly answered.
[To Cordelia]
[That's great news…keep me updated. I'll join you soon, if I make it out of here alive]

He set his phone back in his pocket and continued to dancs, eyes glued to the man's shoes.

Abigail did not know what to do. She wasn't going to keep a son away from his father. But by the way Cas' smile faded, it was clear that he didn't want to be with his father. The brunette was at a lost. Completely confused by the relationship the two had. But she wasn't curious to figure it out at this current moment in time. Quickly she looked around, rubbing her right arm with her left hand. There had to be an excuse to walk away. She could not use her brother because he was with someone. Roman was no where in sight. And it's rude just to pull out her phone in the middle of all of this. It would look like she was video taping. She was thinking that maybe she claim to feel ill. But then again her brother would then follow her home thinking that she was truly ill. Abigail didn't have any ideas at the moment. She continued to look down at the ground, taking another tiny step away from Cas. The brunette felt a bit trapped. Any other normal girl would just walk away, but she didn't want to leave Cas' side. That would mean going back to interacting with people she didn't want to be around. Awkwardly, she stayed. Listening to the argument that was brewing.

Image

Cordelia read the message that was sent back from Leon, happy that he was happy with her. This was going to be a good day. When she looked back up, Aidan was still dancing, his sister wasn't making eye contact, and a fight was about to start. Cordelia didn't like these arguments. No one on Eden did. They should be meaningful and with reason, but they weren't. They just disagreed on everything. If the angel could, she would keep them separated. But that would mean keeping one of them entertained and she would rather just have them tear each other apart. And the thought of watching Cas argue with his father with these new emotions would actually make this a fight worth watching. The angel stopped dancing and looked at Aidan. "I'm kind of thirsty. Could we head over to the refreshment table?" Cordelia could watch the two argue and continue to spend time with Aidan. It was perfect plan. Unless Aidan didn't want to get something to drink. Then this would backfire and she would need a new plan. But today, Cordelia was going to try and think positively.

Image

Roman raised an eyebrow at the questioned returned to him. He was wondering if Leon had no idea what he was talking about. But there was no other way to phrase it without sounding quite rude. Although Roman never censored himself around others before, he was trying not to scare Leon away. He enjoyed having him around. It was nice to be around someone that he was sexually attracted too and intellectually interested in. Currently it was keeping Roman on his toes. Just as the curious man was going to rephrase the message he saw Leon smile at a text message. Roman loosened his grip a little so that he could respond, but once the phone was away he pulled Leon close again. "So you do smile?" he teased lightly. Roman smiled at him, still trying to get Leon to look at him. "You should do that more often. It's nice." He complimented. If the roles were reversed and Leon smiled at him, Roman would have just caved and done whatever he wanted. "But back to my question." He said still thinking of a nice way to rephrase the question. But Roman couldn't think of one. "Do people know you are a homosexual? Or would I an your sister be the only ones that know?" Roman was very good at figuring out who was gay and who wasn't. It was a gift and a curse. It wasn't hard to figure out that his stranger was gay.

Castiel ' s father looked back and forth between him and Abigail and then locked eyes with his son. "Show me some respect" He sneered back and Castiel let out a humorless laugh. "Earn it". The room was starting to fall silent. It was clear to everyone around that this argument wasn't the usual pointless argument the two had back on eden on an every day basis. "I'd appreciate it if you didn't speak to me that way in front of everyone, you ungrateful brat". A small sinister smile spread over Castiel's face as he listened to his father insult him. "Finally showing your true colors father?". He took yet another step towards him. The tension becoming thicker by the second. The people around them slowly began to back away, as if they were trying to distance themselves from an atomic bomb. "Then tell me dear father, what should I be grateful for?. Castiel could feel something new coursing through his entire body. It felt bitter sweet. As if his blood had been injected with pure venom.

Aidan followed Cordelia to the drinks. He actually needed a bit of a refreshment himaelf. As they walked, he kept an eye on the man Abigail was dancing with. He seemed to be arguing with the man that could possibly be his father. They reached the table and Aidan got a drink for each of them and handed one to her. He then turned to face the rest of the room, his gaze immediately fell into the man again. Things seemed to be getting intense, and Abigail looked uncomfortable. Maybe this was his opportunity. She was probably too shy to walk away. He took a step towards them then stopped, wanting to get a bit of information first. "Is that his father? " he asked, turning to Cordelia. "They don't seem to get along very well"

Leon had tried to hide his face from the man as much as possible, but apparently he didn't do very well. Roman caught him smiling. Not a good thing for the "heartless" attitude he'd been trying so hard to give off. He immediately frowned after Roman brought it up and finally looked up to look at him. Well, to glare at him really, then looked back down. It was quiet for a few secomds, until Roman brought back the subject from before. "Do people know you are a homosexual? Or would I an your sister be the only ones that know?". Leon felt his cheeks heat up as if by instinct. So much for lying to him. He remained quiet for a bit too long. "Why are you so sure I am?". He knew there was no point in denying it now, but then again, what if there was someone listening in on them. What if a council member or one of the angels walk by? "You don't know me". He finally gathered up the courage to look up at him. His tone cold and harsh, but his eyes full of pain. He knew Roman would notice, how could he not. But anyone that might be spying on them wouldn't. "I'm not like that". A small stab of guilt and pain hit him right in the stomach as soon as his spoke those words, and he knew it was obvious in his eyes and possibly his face.

Abigail was chocking on the tension. She didn't know what to do. She needed to be saved. Her cheeks were turning red and she wasn't even in the conversation. Finally she looked up to see what the two looked like arguing. It was scary. Cas looked a tad crazy, like he was seconds from blowing his top. But the father seem to have no expression. Almost as if his son's outburst didn't have an effect on him at all. Without even realizing it she was taking a few more steps away from Cas. Who right now was no longer Mr. Perfect. Just Mr. Angry. "E-excuse me..." She barely said it above a whisper. Not really caring if anyone heard her or not. Turning on her heels, the brunette headed out the front door of the college. She needed to breathe. Never has she been near two bitter and angry people before in her life. The tension was killing her. Abby felt bad just leaving Cas, but she couldn't be in there anymore. People were staring at them. At her. She couldn't just sit there waiting for someone to address. Hopefully her brother didn't watch her chicken out the way she did. Slowly, Abby exhaled once the fresh air hit her face.

Cordelia walked with Aidan towards the refreshments. The head angel kept a eye on her bosses. It wouldn't do anyone any good if they killed each other in front of everyone. If anything the other council members would blame it on Cordelia. Claiming that it was her responsibility to break up the fight. She would have happily taken the blame for their arguments. Especially now that Mr Emotionless was given the ability to feel. Aidan handed her a drink and she sipped it slowly. "Thank you." she said to him, sipping more of the drink. The fight was getting worse, silencing the hall. People were staring at them and the poor girl Cas was dancing with seemed to be trapped. "Is that his father? " The head angel nodded. It seemed that Aidan was about to go and rescue his baby sister. "It should be illegal for the two of them to be in the same room as each other. They just cause problems for themselves and everyone around them." But this was going to go deeper than a petty argument. Anger was written clear on Cas' face. At any moment he could completely blow up. Cordelia was semi-looking forward to this party ending earlier because second in command couldn't keep it together. Just then the girl finally walked away. But she wasn't headed toward her brother. She was headed towards the door. "Maybe you should go and check on her." Cordelia said, a bit concerned.

The silence believe them made it clear that Roman wasn't wrong about him being homosexual. Any straight man would have denied immediately. They wouldn't have even danced with Roman. But they were dancing. Talking. Something that Roman wouldn't do with a heterosexual male. "You don't know me" The dancing had practically stopped at point, but he kept his hands on Leon. Afraid that if he let go he would lose him. Roman got what he wanted. Leon looked up at him, but it wasn't with the smile he had seen earlier. It was with pain. The curious man couldn't help, but search his eyes. He looked so broken. Like someone dropped his fragile heart over and over again. Like someone couldn't find all the pieces to the heart. Roman didn't know what to do. "I'm not like that" Leon was clearly lying. Hiding from someone. From something. Roman didn't care. But whatever he was hiding from hurt Leon. They hurt him bad. Roman clenched his fists a little, angered that anyone would so carelessly break him. "I won't ask anymore questions here. But at the end of the party. Please come home with me." Roman's intentions were actually innocent. He just wanted to make Leon feel better, by talking. Keeping emotion like that bottled up makes sense to why Leon is so bitter. Roman believes he has every right, but he doesn't want Leon to be bitter anymore. He wants Roman to smile.

"What has gotten into you? You're acting like…like"
"Like I actually give a damn? Like I hate you? Well you know what….I do" Castiel finished his father's sentence, keeping eye contact with the man. He felt the venom spreading. He felt like he could explode at any moment, like all those pointless arguments were all bubbling to the surdace, and he wasn't trying to stop it "You always act so high and mighty, keeping everyone on a short leash, using them to your disposal, using your council dogs to do the dirty work for you, and I'm sick of it. I am SICK and TIRED of your shit.". Castiel s father stated in shock, or the closest he could get to being shocked. Castiel, on the other hand, felt empowered. Like he could do anything. It wasn't until he heard a soft voice from behind him say excuse me that he stopped. Before he realized it, Abigail had run out the front door. He didn't think twice before going to follow her, but not without being stopped by his father. "Who is that? ". Castiel only pulled his arm away from the man's grasp and headed in the same direction Abigail had gone.

Aidan watched in shock as the conflict went from argument to full on fight. It seemed completely one sided though, as if the father didn't care that his soon was practically fuming and could blow at any moment. That didn't sit well with Aidan. Maybe there was a good reason for why the younger man didn't like his father. In the midst of the arguing he noticed Abigail back away and quickly head out the door. Cordelia asked if they should go check on her, but he was already in motion. "Wait there, I'll be right back" he said as he picked up the pace. As he was walkinf, he noticed the younger man was no longer arguing with his father but he was now in front of him and headed out the door. Was he following Abigail. Aidan decided to keep a safe distance and watch him, instead of interfering right away. But if he much as touched a hair on Abigail s head, he was a dead man. Aidan followed him out the door and hid behind a think pole, watching and listening.

Leon felt like he could burst out into tears any second. Here he was with the most handsome and amazing man he had met in a long time and he was supposed to push him away. On top of that, he had to lie right to his face, and he knew that Roman knew he was lying, but he couldn't do anything else. "I won't ask anymore questions here. But at the end of the party. Please come home with me.. Leon froze in his spot. He was completely silent and still, making the rain drops on the window seem louder than what they actually were. The word "okay" was on the tip of his tongue and it felt like it would spill any second. He quickly swallowed it back and backed up a few steps, however Roman kept a hold of him regardless. Leon had never felt so fragile, and he didn't know how to handle it. He figured he'd handle it the way he always does, by lying. "No" he muttered, his tone almost painful. He could feel his stomach shaking. "Just stay away from me". Though he said this, he remained in Roman's arms, and close enough that Roman could probably see the tears swelling up in his eyes. "I don't like you…I don't like people like you". The last statement killed him, and it showed perfectly in his eyes, but his tone remained cold as ice, even though his insides were on fire.

Abigail started to pace back and forth trying to decided what to with herself. She was almost terrified to go back inside. The fighting and the tension was just too much. She didn't want to take her brother away from his date. That was selfish. All she could hear was the soft click of her heels on the sidewalk and the music picking back up. The fight must have been over. The brunette wasn't exactly ready to go back inside. Pulling out her phone she checked the time. It was close to 11. She didn't having anything to do tomorrow so that was another reason not to go home earlier. Abby ran her fingers through her hair and then just stopped pacing. She was going back inside. She would have to put up with the party for just a little while longer and then she could go home. Decision made, she turned around and saw Mr. Perfect just standing there. Watching her. Her face turned a bit red. From awkwardness and the chill in the air. Quickly, she looked down at the ground and then back up at him. He didn't look the same. Not when he was inside arguing with his father. His facial features were softer. He wasn't angry anymore. Honestly, Abigail didn't want to see him angry again. It was slightly scary. She started to imagine that same face yelling at her and she unknowingly took a step back. "I-I..." She was back to stuttering. Abigail was back to looking at the ground. "I-I'm sorry for just walking out..." Her voice was soft. Again Abigail thought she was in the wrong.

Cordelia just watched the fight. She had never seen Cas so angry and she was really glad that it wasn't being directed towards her. Eventually it will be. Especially when she tells him what she did and what her plans are. But he would have to get over it. Aidan went after his sister and so did Cas. It was going to be interesting when Aidan comes back to tell Cordelia what was happening with the couple. Looking around, she could see people trying to get back to the party. Cas' father looked rather taken back. Well as best as he could to show that emotion. But it was obvious that he knew something was different. Now she really need to tell Cas what is going on so that he doesn't ruin everything by accident. But later. Pulling out her phone, she decided to text Leon.
[TO] Leon
[MSG] You missed the fight! Cas practically said he was joining the Angel Rebellion. Everything is going so well.

She sent the message and looked up to see the boss staring at her. Growing wide eyed, she sipped her drink and walked away from his deadly gaze. He already didn't like her. She wasn't in teh mood to have her wings ripped off in front of everyone.

"No" Roman frowned immediately. His eyes looked over Leon, trying to understand the sudden rejection. But he couldn't think of anything. Unless he was just being a hard ass for no reason. Slowly, he removed his hands from Leon. This was one of the few times where Roman was genuinely hurt. It doesn't happen often and usually he doesn't get in a position of pain, but Leon hurt him. "I don't like you…I don't like people like you" Roman took a shaky step backwards and then locked eyes with his cold hearted stranger. Leon was in so much pain. No matter how heavy and serious the rejection was, he couldn't just let Leon slip away from him. Not again. Not like the first time. So Roman didn't say anything. Reaching into his jacket, Roman pulled out a pen and then took hold of Leon's arm. He wrote down his phone number. "And you already know where I live." He didn't care if Leon had just said no. He was going to say yes. Even if it killed Roman. Putting the pen back in his jacket, he looked over Leon once more and then tried to walk around him back into the party. It was time for Roman to go home.
