546 or is he? He has always kept track on how old he is, but sometimes he'll often forget and just make up his age.
Personality:
More on the sadist and masochist side, he is one crazy beings, he is smart when acting himself, but on the other hand of this personality he can be pretty cold and calm. Sometimes knowing what he is doing, and at other times he could care less what he does. He's a person to like music and blood agonizing pain at the same time. Being completely insane from beyond his self, is truly outstanding. He never has cared for anyone, not even when he was living long ago, and he'll never care now, and no one, I mean no one, will get his cold heart to heat up like the evening sun does on a sunny day.
But let's get away from the basics of his personality and go into the advance themes. First off Jae'Ling, doesn't like people calling him out of his government name, and will not stand there and let that person do it either, he'll take action, even if action means, threatening. Another ting about this reaper, is that he does his work decent and in-order, only if it is necessarily acceptable that he must flip his schedule to do something else. He can be serious or teasing, he can be flat out nice or mean, it is depending on how he thinks about a certain person, but not like 'love' or 'care'. Keeping to himself isn't a problem, but a type of person that is an annoyance and doesn't know what leaving a person alone means, is a problem.
Before his death, he used to love, and be kind to all, but after that horrifying day, of betrayal, of regretting, of unforgettable lies that still speak to him in his head. He couldn't forgive to forget after that day, he used to believe in love at first site, but the woman of his dreams betrayed him for luxury, fame, fortune anything that lead him to fame she took. Now he hates those who uses others just for their selfish needs, and would be glad and happy to get rid of those snobs, and ones who will become them. After all, it is apart of his job, sometimes he hates it when people are taken away from happy families that love their company, it doesn't mean he cares it just means he feels kind of bad. But, if it's their time to go, it's their time to go and he cannot stop it from happening.
Being an apprentice was easy, but he knew when he became a reaper he had to step up his game, and help lost souls, find their way to heaven or hell, but he has to bring them through a phase of death that let's them see what they did for a future and let's them pass on nicely or a phase a death that rips them apart in force them to pass on forcefully.
How did you die?
He was in his office and his wife was in the kitchen cooking for him, and after he ate they went to the garden. He was sitting on the gardens bench when one pair of hands grabbed him; one was chocking him and the other was holding a knife. Knowing who hands they were (his beloved), but before he could push he back she stabbed him right in the chest 10 times. He fell to the ground and all he could hear was crying and laughing at the same time, couldn't move, he couldn't talk, because blood overfilled his mouth and his body was shutdown, from all the blood lose, and all he heard he say was,"I loved you but, I no longer need you." Before his eyes closed completely, he felt cold, angry, and betrayed, until he saw a person wearing black smiled, and he knew he was dead then.

Time- This is like, if you accept I will only grant you one wish kind of thing, he won't bring you back to life, but he can let you look into the future and see how your death effected your future. Either your family is sad, or glad that you are dead, hey you wanted to see, so he let you see, maybe it will let you move on and maybe it will let you mope around and still move on. As long as you move on, on your own free will he won't force you unless you refuse.
Death Bed- When spirits do refuse he would use Death Bed, he would tell you a little phrase to distract you and them BAM! You have been sucked into a series of deaths, and horrifying fears, that no one has done or seen before, not in a life time of kills and fears would beat this punishment. The only way to stop it is to pass on, but sometimes this technique often seems to fail because it doesn't effect half of the spirits he comes across.
