Setting
The docks see ferries and boats of traders, and fishermen ply the waters with pole and net for bass, salmon, trout, and other numerous fish species that make their homes or migrate through the river to breeding grounds.
Hard working dock laborers call and laugh to one another as they haul heavy loads, and friendly greetings hail back and forth between the traders on the boats and those on the docks. Children play along the river's edge, catching frogs and releasing them, or running back to show their mothers or friends.
Through the outskirt village of the city, Riverside, a road that borders the wall of the city runs alongside the river, meeting at the great stone bridge across from the main gate of the city that leads off to the rest of the trade caravan routes.
