Scars/Tattoos:His arm has a large scar running it's length and fades out mid chest.He received this after being caught in a burning Helioglider that was downed on account of the operator's negligence. After the wound healed he had an elaborate tattoo painstakingly done over it. Ironically he also had his left arm dislocated and broken after being thrown from an Oceancutter during an evac to get a wounded squad mate back to base,he had waves and water patterns tattooed down this arm. Lastly he has a large cross with a pair of skeletal wings spreading across his back,the symbolism for this is unknown.

General Physical Description : Deacon has short,dark brown hair,with eyes that are a deep green with a hazel ring around his irises. He's rather handsome,sporting a short goatee,buts wear an impassive look more often than not.He takes great pride in his scars and tattoos.

General Str, Health, Agility: He keeps himself in top notch shape,always trying to keep himself in peak condition. Preferring close combat he leans more towards strength,but is surprisingly agile,in and out of his armor.At times his endurance wanes and waxes depending on his mood. He also despises smoking,yet he oddly does it himself.

Voice: He has a deep,resonant voice that is a little rough around the edges.

Disabilities: He would say"His only disability is his reckless love of a challenge." (And that he seems to get unlucky with vehicles and their operators.)

Clothing:He prefers loose,easy to wear pants and tight shirts for maximum mobility,and to show off his toned form.He also like wearing sleeveless shirts to show his tattoos and scars more.

Religious preferences: Christian as a basis,but carries a number of different(often conflicting) beliefs.

Skills:After having more than a few near misses with vehicles he has taken up learning to be a mechanic.He also designed his armor,refitting and upgrading it from an older model he picked up. He also passionately studied anatomy and has plenty of medical skills. He's also a great cook,something that surprises most.

Personality

General Personality: Deacon tries to be easy going,preferring to stay on peoples' good side,simply because it makes things move along easier,when in truth he cares very little for those that have not earned his trust. He also has a vain streak and despises being dirty if he can help it. Other than that he's simply a sarcastic,often cynical pessimistic optimist.

General Int, Wis, Cha: He knows he's not the sharpest tool in the shed,but he's far from stupid,he excelled in sciences of all kinds,but liked the thrill of danger more than potentially being stuck in a lab. He's a bit absent minded at times,but is always cool under pressure and has plenty of common sense to make up for the lack of others'. While he does know how to talk to people,his general dislike and distrust of them usually makes it difficult for him to keep people happy.

Likes/Dislikes: Deacon likes anything that can challenge him,mostly strategic games. He also likes anything to do with weaponry and combat,though,for him at least,nothing beats a nice glass of sugar laden tea,heavy metal,and an epic video game or anime. Skittles.

Fears: His biggest fear is the fear of failing. He doesn't like heights much after the Glider crashed,nor is he a fan of boats after being catapulted from one of the Cutters. He also fears the stupidity and greed of other people(he knows how what they will do,but fails to understand their way of thinking)

Attitudes towards friends/strangers: Deacon likes to joke and play around with friends,but takes friendship very seriously and doesn't let others near until they prove their trustworthiness. He is always polite when meeting new people,but until he has decided on whether he likes someone of not he keeps them at arm's length. If he likes them,he attempts to befriend them,if he doesn't then he treats them with the thinnest amount of respect,but more often than not simply ignores them.

Opinion of the World: He thinks the world,and everyone in it sucks,he thinks it was a good thing the "rock" fell and took most of them out.He now views the world's shattered state as an opportunity for useless to be weeded out and as a challenge that must be overcome.

Equipment

Weapons/Equipment: Carries a custom machete strapped to his back at all times,as well as a pair of custom Colt.45s. His armor,which he bought 3 years ago and has upgraded and customized himself,is bullet proof,shock absorbent,and sealed to protect him from the outer climate. Built into the helmet is a motion tracking system,as well as night vision,he's currently working on infrared,but it's only in the preliminary phase. Mounted over the left forearm is a retractable punching rod,and mounted into the right is a miniature,electric chainsaw for close quarters combat. He also carries a flash grenade and a teargas grenade,just in case.

What equipment typically carried/worn: He is never seen without his machete and Colts.

Items that stand out or are special: The only things he prizes is his armor,machete,which has his name,and the names of his father,grandfather and great grandfather etched into it,and his Colts,one's grip displays an angel vanquishing a fiend,and the other portrays a man being blessed.

History

General History: Deacon was born to a wealthy,upper class family,though his mother died shortly after his birth. His father was a stern man,and former Seeker himself,giving Deacon the love and affection he needed,but forcing him to harden himself and always push himself further than he could previously.
This,more than anything,influenced him to become a Seeker,that way he could live up to his Father's hopes for him,and push himself to be greater and earn the right to wield the blade his Father left him on his deathbed. His father had died when he turned 15,and left him everything,his sword,guns,and the weapons company that his father had founded.The company basically ran itself,Deacon was only needed for major decisions,and was left to his devices.
At 17 he joined the Seekers and quickly completed his training in his eagerness for more challenges.
At 18 he went on a mission in which his medic was gravely wounded to running through a squadmate's line of fire,in there haste to get back to safety he was catapulted from the Cutter and had to spend 4 months healing,during this time he bought his armor and began perfecting it.
At 20 during a mission,the pilot of the Glider he was in foolishly tried piloting with his instruments of after boasting he could find his way through anything,this resulted in the death of his former squad and nearly crippled him and left most of his right side severely burned.He was down for another 6 months,in which tie he completed his armor to his specifications and began testing it.
Now he is trying to find a new squad to join as well as field test his armor and work out the kinks.
