Emma wipes down the tables in the diner, the dinner rush finally over. Not that there's really a dinner rush in a small town, but it was still pretty busy. She pockets a small tip then drops the rag into a bin already full with dirty dishes. She sits down on one of the barstools, looking out at the dimming light. 'I wonder what everyone else is doing right now...' Emma thinks, absentmindedly running a hand through her hair.

Ring! Ring!

Emma looks up, blinking a couple times as a familar face comes in through the door making the bells above it jingle. A warm smile brightens her face as she gets up and is enveloped in a hug, Michael's masculinity and the scent of fresh cut grass, hay, and horse --all very familiar scents to both of them-- engulfing her in the hug. "What are you doing here?" She asks him as she picks up the tub of dishes with a small grunt. "I was just passing by and I saw you sitting in here looking really bored so I decided to come in and keep you company," Michael says, easily taking the tub of dishes from her. He lugs it to the back and dumps it into the sink, turning the water on. "Well thanks," Emma says with another smile. She grabs a clean rag as Michael rolls his sleeves back and picks up the first plate, dumping the food off and running it under the water, scrubbing it with soap. He passes the clean plate to Emma and she dries it, the two of them washing and drying dishes together in comfortable silence for a few minutes.

"So where are the others?" Emma asks as she dries the cup in her hands. Michael shrugs, washing another cup. "Probably checking out the new folks," he drawls in his low country twang. "You know them. They'll probably all come stampeding in here as soon as they catch a glimpse of them new rich kids. I don't really care for rich folks from the city, that's why I came here instead. But they should be coming here soon." He smiles down at Emma, a laugh in his eyes. Emma laughs quietly taking the glass from him. "Youre probably right. Guess it's a good thing we've the dishes to keep us busy til then," she says. Michael just nods and keeps washing, a smile still on both of their faces.

Viera dismounted the beam that she had been stretching on, landing lightly on the padded gym floor. She was currently at her house, around the back and in the larger of the two barns - this was her 'gymnastics barn', as her brother had deemed it. She had been working on some uneven parallel bar work, and then she had done some beam stretches so that she would be completely warmed up for the spring floor work she needed to do.

Every day, the seventeen year old female spent an hour and a half in the dance studio, and two hours in the gym. She loved every minute of the time she spent there, even though she got a bit banged up sometimes.

Stretching her arms above her head as she walked over to the corner of the mat, she adjusted her leotard before prepping herself. With a raise of her arms in a quick motion, she lowered them just as quickly, before beginning her preparation run. Her mind was concentrating only on what she needed to do as she did it. 'Full Twisting Double Back. Now breathe. Prepare. Triple Full. Breathe. Prepare. Front Pike, to a Triple Fu--'. Her thought process was cut off as she didn't land the Triple Full correctly - she slipped a bit on the mat, and then tumbled over onto her back. Laying there for a moment, she let the feeling of being winded pass, before sitting herself up. Standing slowly to make sure that her balance wasn't off, she did a quick cartwheel to get the motion back into her body. Satisfied that she didn't fall over doing that, she went back to the corner of the mat to prepare once more.

'Breathe. Prepare. Front Pike to Triple Full...' She was more satisfied with this, even though she wavered a bit in the landing. "At least I didn't fall over..." she muttered to herself, before turning around and preparing again. 'Breathe. Prepare. Double Arabian.' Landing that, she decided that maybe she should give it a rest for the day. Walking over to the corner of the barn, she gathered up her things, and made her way out, locking up the barn behind her. Walking over to the back door of her house, she opened it up and made her way inside.

It wasn't long before she emerged from her room, dressed in a simple blue sundress, and a pair of matching blue roman-like sandals. Grabbing her wallet, she made her way out of the house and down the street, in the direction of the town diner. Her friend Emma worked there, and after all the work that she had done on her gymnastics, she was tired and in need of something good to eat.

Her mind wandered from that though. She had heard talk of a new, rich family that was settling itself into their small little town - everyone had heard talk of it, actually. It was the biggest thing to happen in the town since... well, since ever.

It was not long before Viera found herself in front of the diner. Happily, she made her way inside, the tinkling of the bell signaling that someone had come in. "Emma!" she called out, a large smile on her face. "Emma! I'm starved..." With a sigh, she sat herself down at one of many small booths in the place. She had come just after the dinner hour, so she knew that the place wouldn't be as busy. Rubbing her back slightly where she had landed on it, she made herself comfortable where she was sitting at.

Her mind was still concentrating on the idea that there were new people in the town. She was just dying to meet them - it was in her nature to be as friendly as possible.

*******************************

Landon had perched himself on the arm of the overstuffed sofa in the family room, a guitar in his lap. He had heard his sister come in from practicing in the gymnastics barn, and then leave once again. He knew she was off to the town diner, as she always was after a hard practice.

"Must of fell or something..." he muttered, before plucking away at the guitar strings, making sure that it was tuned properly. Viera never really went out to eat unless she had fell during a practice - he had noticed that quite a while ago.

Landon's mother came walking into the family room, a duster in hand. "Landon. Is all your work done?" He nodded, still tuning his guitar. His mother just smiled at him, before walking off to answer the telephone as it rang. "Oh yes, I heard about that, Donna. Yeah, some new family from one of the cities... Yeah, I know! It's something, isn't it..." Her conversation trailed as Landon rolled his eyes. His mom was in on the whole gossip scene too, it seemed.

Taking his guitar with him, he made his way outside to perch himself on the chair swing on the front porch. The sound of the nearby horses from one of his neighbors homes brought a smile to his face as he began to play; just to play whatever, with no real idea as to what he was playing at all.

Apollo hoped off Pegasus and guided her back to the stable.
He patted her head and fed her a couple of sugar cube.

The sun has set and the cool breeze has already blown towards their house.
He plucked some Sunflowers, dusted off his boots and walked towards their house.

"Apollo, darling is that you?" A motherly voice came from the kitchen when he entered.
"Yes ma! The shop closed early?" He removed his boots and black wife-beater.
He reached for a small towel and wiped the sweat from his body.

"Yeah, Mrs.Bates bought the last batch of french bread. Dinner will be ready in few, go change and set the table. Your Pa will be here soon," his mother without looking up from stirring her soup.

He jogged off upstairs and pulled a clean white shirt.
He sniffed it's freshness, with the scent of cotton and Tide, wore it and went downstairs.

He grabbed the flowers and placed it in a vase with water when his father arrived.
"Hey son!" then he felt a heavy hand pat his shoulder.
"I heard them new people has arrived, why aren't with your peers up the hill to welcome them?" his dad said with a western accent as he sat on the dinner table.

Apollo just smiled and set the table.

Her mom placed a try with soup, bread and a glass of water on the side table, he grabbed it and went upstairs and entered a room adjacent from his.

"Back here Viera!" Emma calls out drying the last of the dirty dishes. She drops the rag onto the counter and practically runs out to the main part of the diner, rushing to give Viera a hug. "Did you fall again?" she asks knowingly, a slight tease in her tone. She laughs at the mock dirty look Viera gives her and pulls out her pad. "So whatcha want chickie? The cooks taking a break so I'll have to cook for you," she says teasingly. A deep rumbling laugh comes from Michael as he walks out to the two girls. "You can cook? Since when?" he asks still laughing. "Heya Viera," he says bending down to give her a hug too.

Emma shoots Michael a dirty look. "Hey I can cook grilled cheese sandwhiched and scrambled eggs now thank you very much." Viera and Michael just laugh. "Probably because I taught you how," Michael says earning himself another dirty look from Emma that cause him and Viera to just laugh even more. "How bout I cook both of you something to eat while youtwo girls gossip about Jace, Apollo, and the new people." Both girls open their mouths to protest but Michael just cuts them off, laughing lowly. "You girls don't whisper as quietly as y'all think. But dont worry. I haven't told anyone about yalls crushes... Yet." He winks at them and laughs as they stutter sone trying to find a good way to protest. Michael walks back into the kitchen and starts cooking for the two girls.

"Well..." Emma starts after a minute or two. "Guess that's just one of the many downfalls of having a guy as your best friend." She and Viera laugh quietly. "So, those new people. How do you think they'll adjust to country life?"

"Veronica! Victoria! Wake Up!" Veronica's and Victoria's mother yelled through the door, while banging on it "No Tell Victoria to wake up first" Veronica said with a small groan as her phone started to ring. Victoria looked at the door after hearing her name and she walked over to it and opened it to see their mother standing their with a credit card and some keys in her hand "Get out and get to know the town, you two stay in the house, or at the pool" She said throwing the keys on Veronica's bed and handing Victoria the credit cards. Veronica hops off the bed and ran over to Victoria's side "Awesome I could love today" Veronica said snatching the card out of her hand "Make sure your sister doesn't go too crazy" Their mother said walking out of the room as we closed the door and got ready "How should I dress for the town" Veronica asked "Maybe we should wear a punk skirt, ripped leggings, boots, and plaid button-up shirts" Victoria said with confidence "Yeah I love the sound of that lets do this" Veronica said with a big smile as she picked out something that fit the clothing her sister suggested, while her sister did the same. After they was done, they took the car reving it up really loud "WOOHOO!!" Veronica and Victoria yelled loudly as they drove off, "Hey Veronica do you know where a town is here?" Victoria asked looking at veronica "No why?" Veronica stated "Because we can't go anywhere, if we don't know where we are going" Victoria said looking around.

Viera couldn't help but light up with a smile as Emma approached her from the back room with a fast gait. The taller girl enveloped her in a hug, and Viera smiled brightly, hugging Emma back.

"Did you fall again?"

Viera gave her a mock dirty look, raising her eye brows in Emma's direction. "It was the Triple Full this time that threw me off. Not the Double Arabian like normal. I totally sucked today..." Relaxing a bit in her seat, she listened to Emma talk, before she caught the sound of Michael's deep laugh approaching her.

"Heya Viera," he began to her, and she embraced him in a hug as he bent down pretty far to hug the girl - he was more than a foot taller then her, so it wasn't hard to image why he had to lean down to just hug her.

The two best friends bickered a bit, though it was all playful banter. But it was Michael's comment about the girls crushes that caused a bright blush to spread fiercely across her face. Turning her head slightly, so as to hide the apparent blush on her face, Viera just nodded as Michael made his way back into the kitchen. He was right in assuming that she thought Jace and Apollo were both very good looking guys, but he wasn't exactly dead on with that. There were more than just those two in the town who had caught her eye, and though she would never admit it, he was one of those as well.

"Well... Guess that's just one of the many downfalls of having a guy as your best friend." Viera couldn't help but laugh along with Emma, the red tint to her cheeks beginning to fade away. "So, those new people. How do you think they'll adjust to country life?"

Viera tilted her head to the side, resting her elbows on the table and her chin in her hands. "Well, I used to be on of those kinds of city kids, but that was when I was six... And they're our age now, so... Well, I'm assuming that they're going to have a tough time with this. Especially because they're all probably spoiled rotten." She giggled. "But, you know, if I can help at all, I'm quite game for it. Because who knows; they could turn out to be really, really nice people. Maybe one of them is a dancer or gymnast too..." Her last sentence sort of faded out to nothing - it was more of a case of wishful thinking than anything.

Sitting up straight in her chair, Viera made it her turn to ask a question. "Well, what do you think they'll be like? Have you heard anything yet?"

Apollo went out of the room he entered a few hours ago and headed back downstairs.
The table was filled with home cooked meal so he grabbed a seat on the round table and situated himself for some tummy filling goodness.
"So how was the farm darling?" His mom asked his pop while serving their plates with spoonfuls of mashed potato.

"Well, the corns have adjusted to the weather," Mr.Maxer happily said while stuffing his mouth with food then glanced at Apollo and continued, "Why aren't you with those kids at the diner? Aren't you supposed to live like a teen?"

"Oh speaking of diner, Apollo dear, would you mind dropping off the pies that they ordered?" his mom segued.

"Yeah, sure. No problem Ma,"he whispered.

He couldn't understand why his dad wanted him to hang out with other kids and not just be happy he prefers to do his chores.
He barely talks to anyone, let alone hang out with them.

He quickly finished his dinner and grabbed the keys to the old maroon pick-up.
He kept it in his Levi's and carried the six boxes of pies.

"Here's the receipt. Have them sign here and give them the white paper as their copy," as him mom handed him two pieces of paper.

After placing the pies at the back, he hopped on the vehicle and drove off to the diner.
Having a small town, he got to his destination in a matter of minutes. Parked and brought the pies inside.

CRINNNGGGG...
The bell on the door emitted a sound as he went in.
There were only 3 people inside, the others might be welcoming the new kids.

He placed the pies on top of the counter and looked at Emma with a shy grin and said,"Hi Emma..."

She was talking to her friend Viera so her back was facing him.

Another reason why he doesn't hang out with these people is because he always feels shy and nervous around Emma.

Dylan sat at home, her cellular right beside her on her bed. She flipped through several pages of her earth science textbook, trying her very hardest to concentrate on studying. She had a test the next day, and she needed to be absolutely prepared. Her mark had slipped from 74% all the way down to 57% - her parents would not be impressed. Dylan knew if she was like anyother kid, she'd be down at the diner, in the park, or working. But no. Instead, she decided she would sit on her bed and pretend to study - how pointless! Dylan slammed her book shut and threw it onto the ground beside her bed. She grabbed a large elastic, and tied her dreads up into a tight bun on the back of her head, and threw on a large red beanie as well. She was dressed in a pair of manually ripped jeans, a bright red v-neck which was covered by a ratty brown pleather jacket, and on her feet she wore a pair of black caged 2" heels. They boosted her height from 5'4, to 5'6.

As Dylan arrived at the small, deserted park, she sat down on a bench and began thinking to herself about the news of the new family who had moved into town. She wondered if they were going to be snobby - of course, that was the rumour. Though Dylan wasn't going to make any stupid, or silly, assumptions until she had met them all. And if they all turned out to be richkid snobs, then to hell with them. They'd just end up getting ignored - by most - anyways. Dylan's brain took her from the subject of her science test tomorrow, all the way to what it would be like to be a professional balerina. "I leave my house because I wasn't studying. I come here and don't do anything anyways. What the hell." Dylan spoke aloud, which was odd for her; When she was by herself, she never spoke or made facial expressions.

--

Trevor sat in the large bedroom, in his large house. He wore his platinum blond hair straightened, reaching just a little past his shoulders. To most, his appearance passed off as 'metro' which he disagreed with. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way he dressed - so what if he took pride in his appearance? He looked out the window, and a frown slowly cascaded onto his face. No matter what other people said, this town looked completely useless. No giant 9-floor malls in sight. No large tourist attractions. Nothing that interested him. Unless being bored to death interested him, which it did not. He strode over to his black shiny piano, and tampered with a few keys, until his fingers took over and a slow melody sang from the piano. Trevor hummed along, his voice as deep as a baritone. Trevor was used to playing for audiences of all sizes - playing to no one was a treat for him. There was no one to judge, no one to impress, but himself. And to him, no one mattered more to him than himself. Conceited, some said he was. Full of himself. Cocky. All those slanderous things he had been called before. But no, he wasn't anything like that. He felt misunderstood a lot of the time, like most kids his age. "Not excited for school tomorrow." Trevor said to himself, running his fingers up and then down the piano once to finish his song in the most disgusting way possible.

**In the character section, it says trevor's last name is BANKS. however, i messed up because im an idiot, and I meant for him to have the same lastname as all of the other rich kids from the richkid family. idiotidiotidiot, i know. D:

Val maneuvered her bike up the hill with Sam at her side.
She had always a weird liking for one particular house for a few days already.
Not that she dreamed living in it but she always loved the sound emitted from the inside.
She slowed down and got off her bike. Left it by the manicured grass and sat by the towering black gate. Sam sat next to her.

She could hear the melody again, 6:00 PM just like yesterday and the day before it.
But it wasn't particularly pleasing this time, she could say that the pianist wasn't in the mood.
She frowned.
She didn't expect to hear this.

WOFF!! WOFF!! WOFF!! WOFF!!
Sam suddenly barked at a squirrel that scampered away quickly.
"Shhhh... Quiet someone might see us here!" She quickly grabbed Sam's leash and hopped on her bike.
Before she pedal away, Val looked back at the house and could see a blond guy by the piano.
So that's the mystery pianist.
He looked cute.

But her stomach was already rumbling, time for dinner.
Her mom is still at the clinic so she decided to head over the diner and wolf down some food.
She headed towards the diner with a smile.

"So what do you think the kids will be like when we meet them" Victoria asked looking at her sister in the other seat braiding her hair, making it more wavy then it was normally "I have no clue yet, wait what happens if they are like from twilight" Veronica with a sarcastic laugh as they drove to a town that seemed okay to them "You really must not like the people from twilight" Victoria said in a shocked voice. She was a huge Twilight fan, but then again, her sister, Veronica was like their father, aways ready to get messy and see something horrible and disgusting, but yet she can't see an animal get slaughtered, whiched caused Veronica to go vegan, at the young age of 4. "Yep I am strictly a Vampire Diaries fan, Go Damon!!" She cheered as they parked their car in a empty parking spot, and got out. "So where to, I see a diner we can pick up something to eat" Victoria suggested while taking both of their bags out of the back, "I would love something to eat like, a salad" Veronica said looking at her "Anything is good as long as there is no-" "No Meat" Victoria finished while opening the door to the diner and walked in "This place looks so cut, better then our friend's cafe'" Veronica said in a girlish voice as they sat down in a booth and ordered their food.

Trevor sat in front of his piano, his elbows pressing down on about 4 keys per elbow. Another loud, disgraceful noise came from the piano, which didn't please Trevor very much. A small rough sound rang in his head. It got louder and louder eventually - it had to be coming from outside. Trevor stood up, and pressed his forehead against the window. His roman figured nose also bumped against the window slightly. There was a girl on a bike, witha dog beside her. The thought of the dog barking at the horrible unharmonious keys Trevor had been playing, made him crack just the slightest of a smile. He didn't blame the dog, if that were the case. Though why had the girl on the bike pedalled all the way up the hill? Maybe she was some fitness junkie. Or maybe she was just spying - Trevor had heard from his other siblings that most of the townsfolk had been wondering about the new family that had moved in. Whatever it was, Trevor deemed it as weird. He was never one to judge someone by their words, actions or even appearances, though some of these people were really just... whack!
--
Dylan sat on the park bench, bored to death with herself. She was used to entertaining herself, growing up an only child and all. But lately, everything was just plain old, same old, boring. Getting up from the park bench, Dylan took off her red beanie and slid it right back on afterwards. She was going to the diner now, in hopes to hear something new from her friends. The walk wasn't really that long, maybe half an hour or so.

The bells on top of the door jingled as Dylan pushed her way through the entrance way. When she peered around the inside of the small diner, she realized there was only 4 people inside. "hello?" Dylan said in her somewhat high pitched, loud voice. She expected to her an echo, and cupped her hand to her ear just for fun. A large smile spread across her face when she didn't hear an echo; She dropped her hand and walked over towards everyone else. "Where in the world is everyone?" Dylan asked, her lips twitching towards the right side of her face.

The door's bell rang which made Apollo turn his head around, he saw Dylan with her hand cupping her ears after saying "hello?"
Dylan said it in her somewhat high pitched, loud voice.

"Where in the world is everyone?" Dylan asked, her lips twitching towards the right side of her face.

"Hey Dylan, have you studied for that test already?" Apollo asked softly.

Then his eyes caught the two new girls in town at one of the stools.
Twins.
They look pretty, the other one's hair is more wavy than the other.

Valentina quickly hopped into her bike without realizing she dropped her handkerchief.
Val almost skidded down the hill, she knew the guy inside the mansion saw her... or did he?
Nevermind, she needs to leave fast.
She had to pedal so fast that Sammee also had to run.
Luckily she caught her balance, she was catching her breath and so was Sam.

After putting down her two feet on the ground, she looked back at the top of the hill.
She had to lay low for a few days, she can't go back so soon especially after what happened.
People in that house might call the police on her.
She stroked Sam's golden brown hair and gave it a weak smile.
Sam was still panting, poor dog.
So she decided to head for the diner once and for all.

She saw a maroon pick-up outside the diner and a brand new car.
Could it be? Could one of the new kids be inside a diner? The town's diner?

She parked her bike and chained it to a post and secured Sam's leash outside beside it, she still need to ask permission if they would allow Sam to come in. She knows her limits.
She remembered, she needs to apply for a summer job. The diner looks like a good perspective for she loves to cook.
She could see the silhouette of 5 people by the counter and 2 people by the tables.

Before she went in, Val smoothed her white summer dress and reached for her white handkerchief inside her pocket.
She didn't feel any.
She must have dropped it around somewhere oh well its a small town.
Someone could bring it back to her since it was embroidered with her name.
She went for the door and made the bell cry... CRIINNGGG

She saw Dylan, Apollo, Emma, Viera, Michael by the counter and as she gazed towards the tables she saw two new identical faces.

"Hi!" Valentina blurted out as she gave a single wave to everyone.

Emma taps her chin thinking. "All I've headdis tgat they're super rich and major snobs who prefe to keep to themselves. sounds like typical rich city people to me. But hey," She shrugs, "we won't know until we meet them."

CRIIINNGG...

She looks up as the bells above the door jingle and Apollo walks in.

"Hey Emma," he says.

"Hey Apollo!" Emma says cheerily with a bright smile and partial wave.

"Hey Apollo," Michael says, coming out of the kitchen carrying two plates full of food. The smell of bacon suddenly fills the room. "Here ya go girls." He puts both plates down in front of them. "Hope y'all are hungry for breakfast." (Both plates have 2 huge pancakes, 4 strips of bacon, 2 eggs over medium, and a helping of hashbrowns on them.) Michael pulls up a chair and spins it around and sits down, propping his elbows up on the back.

"For dinner? Really?" Emma asks.

"Sure, why not?" Michael says with a shrug before looking up at Apollo. "Grab a seat dude. Hang out for a little while. Here I'll move over." he scoots his chair over closer to viera and pulls a chair over for Apollo that's closer to Emma.

"This is really good Michael," Emma tells him, taking another bite if the hashbrowns.

"Thanks," he replies. "So does anyone know where Jace, Shawn, Lauren or the others are?"

"Not a clue, but they need to come over here," Emma says with a shrug.

CRIIIINNNG...

"Maybe that's the-" Michael cuts off suddenly, his eyes widening. "Thats definitely not the others." He watches as two unfamilar girls walk into the diner and sit down. The other follow his gaze towards the girls abd their eyes widen some as well.

"Gotta be some of the new girls," Enna says, stating what everyone else is obviously thinking. She gets out of the booth and skirts around Apollo, retieing her waist apron on. "Gotta take there order, back in a sec guys." She takes out her pad and walks over to the two girls. She smiles warmly at them and pulls out a pen to take their order. "Hi. I'm Emma. I guess you could say I'm you waitress. May I take your order?" She quickly writes down their orders then goes behind the counter and passes the slip to an older gentleman who's obviously the cook.

"Here dad. Two orders." Emma hands him the slip of paper then gets the girls' drinks.

CRIIIIINNNNGGGG....

"Hello??" Dylan calls out. "Where in the world is everybody?"

"Hey Dylan," Emma says as she passes her. "We don't know, but were hoping they get down here soon." She walks back over to the identical girls and gives them their drinks. "Yall are new around here right?"

CRIIIIINNNNGGG.... the bells ring once more.

"Hi!" Val blurts out with a wave. Emma gives her smile abd waves back before turning her attention back to twins.

"Thanks man," Apollo took the seat.
He was so nervous he forgot to have Emma sign the receipt.

"So have you guys studied for that exam already?" he asked around after he asked Dylan.

Val came in after a few minutes and said hi, walked towards them

She always wears her white wardrobe and never seem to mess it up.
"Hey, you look parched," he addressed Val.
"Went biking and yeah I am parched," she said while grabbing a tissue to wipe her sweat.
"Have you studied for the test tomorrow?" Apollo asked shyly.
"A bit... well okay no, not yet,"Val grinned sheepishly.

"Hey Mr.Reynolds do you have a job opening here? I need one for the summer please!" Val said with a sad puppy dog look.

While waiting for his answer she took an empty seat and turned to Michael and asked, "Who are the new lots, cowboy?"

Viera nodded in agreement with Emma's statement - they wouldn't really know who the kids were until they met them. And boy, was Viera excited to meet them.

It was then that Apollo made his entrance into the diner, and Viera couldn't help but smile over at Emma as she spoke with him. She, too, gave him a recognition wave, and a smile. But it was Michael that she was now concentrating on, for he was coming out of the back with two hot plates of food, and they sure did smell good.

Her eyes lit up as he placed the food on the table in front of her, and she began to eat right away, a happy glow to her features. "Michael... you sure are a good cook..." she said, smiling over at the male, before her eyes wandered to the two new people who had made their way into the diner and over to an empty booth.

Eye wide, she couldn't help but stare. 'Those must be some of the new kids!' she screamed in her head, her face changing from shocked to a bright smile. She continued to eat though, as Emma went over and took their orders. It wouldn't have been right of her to interrupt them while they were eating, she figured.

She was seriously happy that Michael had scooted closer to her, though. She was still stuck on the fact that he made amazing food.

Apollo had joined them, and she smiled at him as well, answering his question about studying for a test that they had tomorrow. "I would have studied, but I kinda had to practice my floor routine... Well, I suppose that I wouldn't have had to practice it, but I wanted to. I'll probably study when I get home though..."

It was then that she noticed that Dylan had joined the diner group. With a wave, she motioned the other girl over. Dylan had always been someone who Viera enjoyed being around, whether it be for the witty comments, or just for the company.

Not too long afterward, Val came into the diner too, and Viera smiled over at the girl before getting back to her food. "Honestly, Michael. This is really good..." she said to him, after a moment.

Landon finished his free playing, placing the guitar on the chair swing next to him as she watched the world around him. It was at that moment that he heard his stomach growl, and he covered it, embarrassed. Getting up from the chair with his guitar in hand, he went back into the house, placing the guitar on the couch, before he made his way into the kitchen. His mother was sitting at the kitchen table, and she smiled up at him, covering the voice part of the phone.

"Landon, honey. I figured it would be easier if you just went out to the diner tonight to get something to eat. I left some money for you on the side table next to the door." Landon nodded, before leaving the room.

Grabbing the money on the table, he left himself out of the house.

It was not long before he had reached the town diner, and he opened the door up, making his way inside. He spotted his sister sitting at one of the tables, Michael sitting next to her, and Apollo at the same table. Emma was taking the order of two girls of whom he did not recognize, and Val and Dylan were also there.

With a smile, he made his way over to his sister and the two males, joining them at the table. "Hey, Viera" he began. "Mom sent me over here to eat dinner with you tonight." With that, he stole a piece of bacon off of his sisters plate with a cheeky smile, before he began munching on it. Viera frowned at him, moving her plate closer to herself before sticking her tongue out at him.

Landon couldn't help but laugh.

"Umm can I have a salad" Veronica said to the girl "And I would like a hamburger please" Victoria said with a polite smile "Thank you" The twins said in unison, before a cellphone went off, Veronica picked up her Iphone and saw that it was, Leanna, their mother. "Hey mom" Veronica said "Are you guys having fun? You guys see any of the kids around here?" She finished asking "Well we are at a diner, and it seems cool here, and about the kids I see some here, but we haven't talked to anyone yet" Veronica said with a soft giggle, before her phone went dead "No my phone, it died" Veroinca said "Well just charge it when we get home, anyways we need to pick up your motorcycle from the auto shop" Victoria said with a smirk on her face.

"So Mr. Reynolds how about it? Can I work here?" Val asked him while he was making the twins order.
He was fixing a salad and a hamburger.
Who eats salads these days? Can anyone get energy from that?
She glanced at Viera's plate, her stomach grumbled again.
"Hey that looks good, who made that?" Val said with a hungry look.

Michael tips his nonexistent cowboy hat towards Val and grins. "New girls. Obviously." He chuckles lowly.

Mr. Reynolds comes out of the kitchen with the girls' orders and walks over to their table and puts tge plates of food down in front of them. "Welcome to the neighborhood girls," he says with a smile. He places a hand on Emma's shoulder. "This here is my daughter Emma, as I'm sure she's already introduced herself to y'all. My name is Steve Reynolds but everyone just calls me Mr. Reynolds or emma's dad." he laughs making Emma blush lightly in embarrassment. "If you girls ever need anything, any help settling in or getting around, just ask Emma. I'll leave you gals alone so y'all can chat now." He pats emma's shoulder affectionately then walks over to Val and the others.

"I think we could use another waitress and dishwasher around here. I'm sure Emma wouldn't mind the help," he says with a grin. "Now I better get back into the kitchen before I cramp yalls style, or whatever it is you kids say these days." With that he walks back into the kitchen, leaving the teenagers out in the main area alone once again.

Dylan nodded, then shrugged. "Well, sort of. Not really." Honestly, she hadn't studied at all. But she liked to think she was an A+ student who had nothing better to do than study. "What about everyone else?" Dylan looked around, and realized a few more people had entered. A tall guy with blond hair that hung striahgt around the tops of his shoulders had entered. He looked like a possible new kid. "Hi, I'm Dylan!" She said excitedly, rushing to the front door where the boy was standing awkwardly. Dylan held out her hand, waiting for the guy to shake it.

Trevor peered around the small crappy looking diner quickly, and realized he needed to move back to NYC. In NYC, a place like this wouldn't be acceptable, on his terms. "Hi. I'm Trevor." He stuck out his bony, pale hand, and shook the girl's hand quickly and sternly. He went and sat at a booth by himself, wanting to escape the large flock of kids that had entered before him. He knew, just judging from their eyes, and facial expressions, that most of them had a lot of questions to ask him, or wondered who he was.

"Really Mr. Reynolds? So when can I start washing the dishes? Oh and can I order a serving of what Viera's having, I famished," Val said with a hungry tone.

The door opened and she saw the pianist guy entering the premises of the diner.
She didn't expect him to be around, especially not the diner.

"Hi, I'm Dylan!" Dylan said excitedly, rushing to the front door where the boy was standing awkwardly. She held out her hand, waiting for the guy to shake it.
Pianist guy peered around and said, "Hi. I'm Trevor."
He stuck out his bony, pale hand, and shook the girl's hand quickly and sternly.
He then went and sat at a booth.

Hopefully he did not see her, and just to be sure she lowered her head and turned her towards his booth.
Woff! Woff! Woff!
Then Sam barked, Not now!
She saw a paper bowl by the counter. She grabbed it and filled it with water from the pitcher beside it.
She hopped off the stool and tried her best to conceal her face from pianist guy.
She quickly dashed out to give Sam the bowl of water.
"Baby, you could have waited a little longer you know!" Val whispered softly to Sam as she crouched next to the drinking dog.
She scratched the dogs ears and peered at the window, she can see him from where she is partially hidden.
He's cute alright.
And he's heaven and she's earth.
Dream on Val, that heaven and earth thing doesn't even apply to you. He doesn't even know you, let alone know you exist. Why are you so afraid he'd see you? He wouldn't give you a second glance. Don't be too sure of yourself She thought to herself.
She gave out a long and deep sigh.

Veronica and Victoria let out a soft giggle before looking at the girl "Your father seems very nice, Emma" Veronica said with a polite smile "Yeah very nice, I hope everyone else is the same here" Victoria commented "Sorry to be rude, my name is Veronica Tepes" Veronica said taking her hair out of a ponytail, "Yeah and my name is Victoria Tepes, we're new here, so we don't really know that much, like what to do and not to do" Victoria said looking over at Veronica, before hearing the door open "Victoria, Veronica" A male voice said as they walked closer to them, and drapped an arm on each of their shoulders "How's my favorite cousins doing, you guys took off without me this morning" Chad said with a smirk "Yeah because it was suppose to be like that, Chad" Veronica said with a bored look on her face, as she started to eat her food "Yeah, just what we need. Emma this is our cousin, and adopted brother Chad Tepes" Victoria said pushing Chad off of him "How did you get down here anyways" Veronica asked looking out the window "I took my car that I brought duh. Don't you see the damn Lexi, outside" He said crossing his arms "Oh yeah I forgot you got it out of shop, because I crashed it" Veronica siad giggling again "Well why don't you make it useful, and take it back up the hill, and into our driveway, and hangout with dad" Veronica finished. "Fine I can see I'm not needed, I don't want to hangout with a bunch of girls anyways" He said walking off to his car and speeding back up the hill to our house "Big baby" Victoria said "Sorry about, him, his bark, is worst then his bite" Veronica said making herself giggle again.

"Thanks. And it's nice to meet both of you. As he said, welcome to the neighborhood," Emma says. Then a guy comes in. He and the twins banter a bit before he leaves. 'He's kind of cute... In that rich kind of way...' she thinks, watching him leave. She laughs quietly at Veronica's statement. "Okay then. I'll watch myself around him," she says jokingly.

Michael picks at the dish he made for Emma and moves it more towards the middle of the table for them all to share. "I don't think Emma will mind if we eat this for her, sinice she seems all busy and stuff now," he says, casting a sideways glance at Emma. She just throws him a mock dirty look then walks over to the booth the new guy - Trevor - sat down in.

"Hi!" she says cheerily. "I'm Emma. I live around here and I guess you could say I'll be your waitress today." She smiles welcomingly to him. "May I start you off with a drink?" she asks him.
