Michael is a very caring individual. Though he can tend to be a little too rough when it comes with punishment and things he enjoys, such as rough sex and bondage. Many women tend to run away from him when they notice the kinds of intimate things he's interested in. He just hopes that he'll be able to find a woman who will be able to suffice his sexual needs and be able to handle his wealth and the power they will be gaining upon the kingdom responsibly.

|History|
Michael was born into the royal family of the Thompsons. At the age of nineteen, he took the throne after his parents passed away. Though at that point he never thought he'd ever have to worry about anyone else taking control of his power and wealth. That was until just recently when he found out from his uncle that he had a year to marry a woman or all the wealth and power would be passed over to his uncle.

Of course Michael really wouldn't care too much about either of those things if it weren't for him knowing how his uncle was. His uncle cares about nothing more than himself and would drive the kingdom to the ground. That was definitely something he didn't want to have his people go through so ever since he's been searching for a potential wife, in hopes that whoever he finally chooses wouldn't be a mistake.

ImageMichael smiled when she accepted his offer to dance and offered his arm to her before leading her out to the dance floor. "I apologize for what I said back there. It's just the truth. I am unfortunately not like the other ladies that you have taken to balls and courted."

Michael couldn't help but to smirk as he placed his hands upon her waist and began dancing with her. "It's fine. Though you being different is something I like," he stated. It was the truth. He knew it came out as if he were flirting but he didn't care. As long as it was the truth he didn't care how she thought of it.

She smiled at him. Lord Thompson was diffferent then what she assumed and oddly he was being very kind, flirty and polite. With that she smiled at him and continued to dance.

She didn't know what to say to his remark. "Thank you Lord Thompson." She said looking at him with a simple nod of her head. She didn't know where this night was going to lead but....

She better just keep dancing.

He leaned in and kissed her. But before she even had a chance to react he glanced down and spoke. "I am so sorry. I um, I shouldn't have done that," he stated as he stopped dancing and just stood there.

He couldn't believe he just kissed this woman, a woman he had just met and hardly knows anything about. How was he going to explain this to his uncle if he saw the kiss?

She watched as he kissed her in the middle of the dance floor. She was very well shocked. And she also liked it. She blushed maddly then realizing what happened she pulled his sleeve gently and guided him onto the porch.

She looked at him. "I accept your apology. I would say you wouldn't have to apoligize because i enjoyed the kiss. But I can't go around kissing men. It will ruin my reputation and i need to keep it to keep my job up to support the household. But i am not saying i didn't like it."

She added in the end softly her thoughts happy. She didn't know if she overly liked him that well.

Michael was honestly shocked when she brought him out to the balcony of the castle. He smiled softly and glanced down at her, taking in every word she was saying, "I accept your apology. I would say you wouldn't have to apologize because I enjoyed the kiss. But I can't go around kissing men. It will ruin my reputation and I need to keep it to keep my job up to support the household. But I am not saying I didn't like it."

Michael found it cute that she was slightly rambling but just nodded his head, "Alright," he stated as he made his way over to the bench that was on the balcony and sat down. "What caused you to begin writing even though you knew that you could get caught? I mean, I know you were doing it for your family, but why couldn't you have found something else to do, something that you would be safe doing?" he questioned, finding himself to be a bit curious about the way she thought.

She looked at him as he sat down. She sat down beside him, crossed her legs and folded her hands on her laps. With that she glanced at him and spoke listening.

"My father was the famous Archietet. He told me when I was younger that he was in dire need of a writer for his buisness. To let people know about him. I accepted not knowing the rule quite yet but as I grew older I kept it to myself and I just loved writing so I knew I was good at it. I didn't see anything else but that in the paper and I got my brother to say he wanted the job and luckily the writer knew my father so it worked great."

She looked at him. She knew he was judging but she didn't care it was who she was.

Michael smirked at the woman's words and nodded his head. He gave a soft sigh before speaking up, "Just between you and me, nothing you wrote in the paper is true about me," he stated in almost a whisper. Of course he was just messing with her, but it was honestly the truth. It was his father that made Michael seem to be the way he was because of the laws he isn't in authority to change yet. He had to get married before being able to run the country the way he wanted to. This was being overseen by his uncle and if Michael doesn't get married within a year's time, he would lose the kingdom to his uncle. That was definitely not something he was going to let happen, no matter what he had to do.

Michael nodded his head with a soft sigh before speaking, "I understand that. Though if you'd like, I wouldn't mind allowing you and your family to stay here in the castle. Of course you can still write your paper and everything and make your own money, but I'd be willing to help you with things you may need if you don't have the money for it. Just a thought," he answered.

Michael wasn't going to force her into doing this if she didn't want to do it, but it would be a way to not only help her out but for him to get to know the woman a bit more.

She looked at him and smiled. "Well I would love to take you up on the offer. But what would people think? People should be married before they live together."

She said looking at him. Wondering what he was thinking she knew that she was a little nervous about this all. She had never been kissed like that before. She was forced with kisses before by her fathers employees.

She didn't mind but this was a kiss she welcomed. And did not push away. But he might be a bit older then her but not much. She knew that this was problems. She couldn't like someone with lots of money.

Including the fact that she was just a simple girl. And had nothing to offer in return.

I'm not asking you to marry me, but maybe we could make people believe that we are getting married and that we are married, I can pay a reverend to do the wedding but keep it a secret that it's not official. You wouldn't have to help me run the kingdom if you didn't want to. Just make sure you attend all of the important meetings and events, make it look real," he explained. "But if you don't want to, I'm not going to force it on you. Just trying to come up with ways to help both of our situations," he added.

"Yes, I believe I just did. But don't feel obligated to accept it. Though I do think you should give it a bit of thought before giving an answer. This could be the resolution to both of our problems. You'd still have your freedom and you won't have to do anything you don't want to do. The only thing we would have to do is share a room and act like we love each other in front of everyone. The only downside is we would have to create an heir to the throne as well. So...I would suggest you think this over a bit," Michael explained.

He hoped he wasn't making her uncomfortable, that was far from what he was planning on doing. He just wanted to find a way to help her out. If marrying her was the way to do so, he would do it. Besides, it could help his problems as well. So if she agrees it would be a win/win situation. At least if they can play it off without getting caught.

Michael was shocked she made this decision so quickly, but he wasn't going to push away her acceptance. "As far as everyone else knows, I found interest in you tonight, I asked you to be my queen, and you accepted, which is honestly the truth. Of course they don't have to know exactly what I meant by interest, whatever they think will slide. I'll tell my uncle tonight after the ball," he explained. "Thanks for this Katherine. I'll be sure to do all I can to make sure you and your family are happy and taken care of. Whatever you want you got it," he added. Besides, it was the least he could do. Especially since he had to get her pregnant within the year, that was a huge part of this and she was willing to give that up to him. So no matter what it was that her or her family needed or wanted, he would get it for them. That was a promise he would keep.

The male shrugged his shoulders at her question about putting it in the paper and answered, "As long as there aren't any lies in it, then I don't really mind. But we would still need to announce it to the kingdom personally within the next couple of days." He began to lead her back into the ball room and began looking around for his uncle, who didn't seem to be anywhere. That kind of made Michael a bit nervous. His uncle was definitely up to something and that didn't make him all that thrilled. The man was always up to something and it never ended well.

The last time his uncle did, it ended in the death of Michael's father. That was one grudge he never seemed to let go of through all of his unwanted years with his uncle. If it weren't for him messing with a witch who wanted nothing more than to take out her frustrations on the king, Michael's father, then he would still be around.
