Personality

Melissa is loud, despite her scar and will always stand up for someone in need, she is honest (Like all Candors) and is never afraid to put people in their place.
She loves the kick she gets from an adrenaline rush and is really a Dauntless at heart, she won't back down from a fight and almost likes arguing.
Although she knows she should stay in Candor with her loving family, another part of her yearns for Dauntless.

Equipment

Melissa wears a small onyx necklace on a silver chain, this has been passed down her family for generations and she couldn't bear to part with it.

History

Melissa grew up like any other Candor kid, honestly.
Her parents told her from the start she was adopted and that she comes from the local 'Candor Orphanage' (But is that true?)
Candors are taught not to lie but neither of her parents are originally Candor. Her adopted mother came from Abnegation, her adopted father from Erudite and therefore have no problem telling their 'daughter' a lie to protect her. To protect her from the horrors of her past.

She now lives with her little foster sister, Mae, whom also supposedly came from the Candor Orphanage (She actually comes from Amity) and her small dog 'Honesty' (Honest for short) and she is clue-less as to her real life.
