Earth was at its prime. Humans lived side by side in cities that could span across countries. Technology was far more advanced than anything we could dream of. Hunger and war were things of the distant past, and all over there was joy. Then, the great enemy descended upon the earth. A race of insect like creatures waged an all out war on the inhabitants of earth. Hundreds of years of war destroyed the surface of the Earth. Once great cities were burned and destroyed. Forests were cut to fuel the machines of war and the waters were polluted beyond repair. With the Earth drained of its valuable resources, the bug-like creatures left, seeking new worlds to pillage. Though humans were bloodied, they were not beaten. The human race lived on, but it was never the same.
300 years pass, and the once great humans are now a scattered grouping of tribes and city-states. Factions rise and fall in a heart beat. In this forsaken land, many have given up hope, but some still cling desperately to the Forgotten World. The ruins of the old world still hold a mysterious energy, that science can not explain, and a select few relics still contain the power of the lost civilization. Use these relics, find these ruins and manipulate the new Earth political system to uncover the world that was, and change the world that is.
