Lazarus was born with an affinity for the sciences. As a child, he spent much of his time locked up in his parentsā library, delving through the pages of a myriad of books. He especially found an interest in chemistry ā the genetic makeup of the universe. He found that, through concentration and meditation, he could literally see the path of atoms and molecules through his left eye. He soon realized that the atoms would not disappear ā he was cursed with the power to see the waves of life. This discovery astonished Lazarus, frightening him into concealing the slightly darker optic. He wore a blindfold to suppress his defect, covering the one eye that sought him so much trouble.
After the death of his parents, Lazarus and his older brother, Felix, were immediately subject to training under their fearless leader. He was ordered to remove the blindfold, and upon doing so, realized that he could intentionally quicken the pace of the atoms at will; he could bend what he thought was concrete science to his bidding. Eventually, Lazarus learned to vibrate the atoms as he so desired, creating flames before his very own eyes. He learned to quickly hone and manipulate the fire to his own will.
Personality
Lazarus will generally shirk into the shadows of his peers. He prefers mind over matter and therefore, is not one to make snide comments. Although he is quiet, Lazarus is in no manner shy; on the contrary, he merely observes and studies the surroundings. He is a very serious entity, sometimes acting marginally stand-offish. This is due to his time spent in close proximity with the vampire leader. Lazarus has no patience for obnoxious or loud people, and has a tendency to drink when under pressure.
Brief Description
Lazarus holds a blindfold in his back pocket, in case he overloads his powers.
Skill(s)/Abilities
Lazarus is among a small group of elite vampire warriors. He realized from a young age that he was useless with an ordinary sword or dagger. He could not grasp the concept of using a blade whatsoever. One day during a particular spar, Lazarus retrieved a simple staff as a weapon, a guileless rod of wood, and performed with it in a sort of methodical dance. He won the spar, leaving the onlookers agape with surprise. The male was not only highly skilled with the staff, but he executed his moves with grace it did not even look like a fight.

History
Different. Lazarus and his brother were constantly pressured by that one word throughout their childhood. They were different from the others; they were the only sons of the vampire leaderās closest and most trusted friends. The two were separated from the other children by that one trait alone, forced into studying and practicing the arts while the rest Different, and yet so the same by birth. The twins shared almost identical visages, both cursed by a slightly crooked nose and that bright, almost white blonde mat of hair. When the vampire leader took the throne above the humans, Lazarus and his brother were both placed in high regard.
He was the youngest of the Mikhail family, albeit by only seven minutes. Lazarus and Felix were both treated with a perpetual love from their parents. They learned the word and its meaning well, creating a close family bond. The two found a very keen interest in fighting, and as they sparred daily their interest transformed into a marginal talent.
The two sons of Mikhail left their comfortable home as adolescences, deciding on a small pilgrimage around the country to broaden their already enlightened minds of the humans. Humans. Lazarus had never seen one personally, as he was kept hidden from the sins of the land in the familyās personal courtyard, but from his studies, he knew they could only be vile, underling creatures. They were belittled in the society, forced to do the laborious tasks that their kind were too precious for. He received a rather harsh awakening when he and his twin left. Humans were not only not evil, but it seemed as if they were, if possible, ethical? Lazarusā studies hadnāt prepared him for this kind of turnaround, and he found himself in a predicament. After a whole lifetime of love and temperance from his parents, Lazarus simply could not find it within his body to find a hatred for these creatures. They were not vile. They were merely desperate for something that seemed intangible to him.
Lazarus and his brother returned to their home a year later, both with their own distinct views and ideas of the humans. They were not greeted with open arms or happy faces, but perhaps the very opposite. Their possessions were thrown thoughtlessly; chairs and tables hacked into with heavy weapons. A dark scarlet splattered across every texture of their home, and in the middle of the chaos ā their parents. The very bane of their existence, mutilated. Their features were indistinguishable, but from scent alone, Lazarus knew. They both knew. It had to be the humans. He could utter but a single phrase to the only blood relative left he had.
āBrother, I donāt understandā¦ā
Immediately after the death of their family, Lazarus and Felix were recruited into the vampire army. They attended an academy and trained to excellency for combat both physically and mentally. Fueled by his newfound disregard for humans, he swore by his own life that he would become the strongest force any vampire had seen. The previous love he held for the world was shrouded in a blindness of understanding. He knew nothing except for his own distaste for humans.
Subsequently graduating from the academy and serving as a self-satisfied warrior for vampires, a muse came to him in a dream one night. It told of life anew, of the world in a different light. Of course, Lazarus went to his brother and sought advice, where he was then told to stop obsessing over a dream. He, however, simply could not let go.
