Description

Manny has darker skin and long, swept back brown hair and a light dusting of a beard. Manny is Brazilian and 35 years old. Manny is shorter at 5'8.

Personality

Manny is easy going and tries to be friendly, although he feels more comfortable talking to an animal. He's a bit of a wuss outside the battlefield as well. He tries to avoid killing at all costs, preferring to take the target alive and imprison him. He's fiercely loyal to his friends and will do anything for them. Manny loves the Amazon, the wildlife, the natives, and the plants inside. After his time in the Amazon he is well in tune with animals, he can understand their behavior more than an average person.

Equipment

Manny doesn't own any guns currently; he came to the Internationals expecting to be equipped. He has training, however, in all kinds of guns: pistols, rifles, shotguns. He also can use a machete. Manny came to the meeting wearing a black T-shirt, black sweatshirt, faded blue jeans, and a black beanie cap. He's also wearing worn leather boots.

History

Manny was raised in Brazil in a middle class household. His parents were divorced and he vacationed in the United States every Summer, where his father lived in California. When Manny was 18 he joined up in the army (As he was required to), where he worked his way up to serve in the Amazon Military Command, 3rd Special Forces company in Manaus. In the Special Forces, Manny would routinely guard the jungle from criminals looking to make a headquarters in there. He raided countless drug bases inside the Amazon, and sometimes accompanied scientists into the Jungle on research missions. One day, when Manny was 31, a new soldier got assigned to his team. Her name... Kai Suthers. Kai served in his team for three weeks until Manny walked in on her communicating with her bosses: he discovered she was an assassin. Instead of killing Manny, Kai enlisted his help and informed him of her true intentions: Manny's team leader, Armando Cortes, was smuggling huge amounts of money to a cartel and was protecting certain bases within the jungle. Manny agreed to help Kai, he really had no alternative.

Together Manny and Kai scheduled a raid on a small drug base and rigged an explosion within the complex. Only two soldiers were reported killed: Cortes and Kai. Manny kept up contact with Kai and the two even became friends. Manny was one of the very few people who knew her identity. Kai came back one time, when Manny was 33, and he helped cover up an assassination of a drug smuggler working as a teacher in a Manaus school. Manny would occasionally feed Kai information about the AMC and suspected drug lords and criminals. When the organization Kai worked for collapsed, Manny's name was one of the thousands top officials gave up after their headquarters were raided a week after the organization broke up, to get a lighter jail sentence or pardons. Manny was immediately revoked of all status by the Brazilian government and thrown in prison for a sentence of 50 years. He very recently escaped from prison with the help of one of Kai's contacts after a year in prison. Manny was now a wanted criminal in Brazil. When he was pondering what to do with his life (He even considered suicide), Kai contacted him and informed him of the Internationals. She did this as a favor because she felt guilty she escaped persecution and he didn't.
