The world of Delaria

After Eragon was done crossing the bridge of Carcian he continued for a while until he decided it was time to rest "This land is so beautiful I'm glad I decided to come." Said Eragon as he stepped out into a field of wild flowers. Eragon was a new adventurer in Delaria he came running as soon as he heard there were fame and riches to be won. Eragon was the best hunter in his village and always kept his bow and quiver close as they were now slung over his shoulder.Eragon suddenly noticed movement out of the corner of his eye. He quickly drew his bow and knocked an arrow "I was told this path wasn't used often." Eragon silently whispered to himself. He heard a growl the suddenly knew he was in trouble"Now I know why." , keeping his bow ready he began to run down the path he looked back and noticed a group of three ravenous wolves chasing him. He quickly turned and let his arrow loose into a wolfs chest sending him to the ground. He immediately began to run again while knocking another arrow. he once again turned with feline like speed and blasted the second wolf in the chest like the last. The last wolf was closing in too fast to get another arrow. He swiftly drew his dagger, as the wolf pounced to get as his neck Eragon ducked and thrust the blade into the beast's neck, he twist the blade to ensure the animal was dead. "I guess beauty really is deceiving." Eragon said as he skinned the animals to sell them at the nearby village indicated by the smoke in the distance.
