Around 300 years old || Pure-blooded Elf || Heterosexual

Iriyn is a full blooded elf, and so his build is a bit more graceful than others. Tall, but well muscled in the light of his being a seasoned warrior. He wears darker colors to help blend into the shadows which he uses to their utmost. Usually clad in either pitch black, or a dusty blue-gray that melds well with the night, he wears tall boots and everything along his body is buckled down tightly so that nothing moves and nothing makes a sound when he's stalking through the shadows.

He has shoulder length black hair that frames a pale face that is unmarred by any scars. His silvery-blue gaze can grow rather dark if he's angered or in the midst of a fight. Fueled by a deeper rage, his eyes are usually an indicator of what he's thinking and feeling, changing color to match those moods. They become lighter if he's content, a swirling silver if he's confused or otherwise unsure, and a dark gray, almost black when fighting or angry.

||Equipment||

Iriyn has an array of things that he carries on his person. Most notable are the two twin blades that he has sheathed at either hip. Knives decorate his frame ranging from small to large in which he can utilize all of them. However, he prefers his swords. He has a couple of pouches, of which he carries his money, a few herbs and other things to tend to wounds should he need to.

||Strengths||

Iriyn is an exceptional swordsman. Coupled with that he is very fast, light on his feet and nimble to say the least. His fighting skills tend to lay in how quickly he can move, to parry, block and counter. As an elf, he has some magic. He can manipulate fire, though he tends not to due to specific reasons, unless he's pushed to do so to get an advantage in a fight. Healing smaller wounds is another gift of his. In addition to this, creating antidotes for any poisons he is quite skilled at as well.

Tracking, and keeping himself from being detected is a great strength of his. Iriyn is a natural born hunter, so being silent is something that he doesn't even have to work at doing. Though, this time what he's hunting isn't the local deer for food. Making decisions nearly on the spot he can do, most times in a fight he has a level head. Even if he does lose his temper, he can still be a force to be reckoned with when trying to fight him.

||Weaknesses||

Iriyn has a few weaknesses. To start, disarming him will reduce how lethal he is. Forcing him to resort to his other knives puts him at a disadvantage both in reach and technique of fighting. He relies far too much on his twin blades. In addition, due to the nature of what he is 'hunting' it can bring him a lot of discomfort and put him in a state of uncharacteristic -or blinded- rage. He'll lose himself and even if he's taken far too much damage to continue fighting he'll still do so anyway.

Angering him unfortunately, is very easy to do. Insulting his race and family -which are his pride- is a sure way to have him enraged and launched into a fight without thinking. He will make plenty of mistakes, and though he's still a very good fighter, he can easily be worn out because he'll use far too much energy in trying to deal out harsh blows rather than his usual, cleaner attacks.

||Personality||

Iriyn is hardly someone would think to be someone's best friend, especially upon a first meeting with him. The elf has a particular distaste for anyone or anything that associates themselves with the one he used to call 'brother'. If one thing is for certain, the man can hold a grunge like no other. Hence the reason for his chasing after Razeluxe as he has. He wants nothing more than to kill the half-blood for what had happened to their village, believing that it was wholly Raze's fault and nothing else.

Even so, despite his craving for blood, he still does have a sort of soft spot for the other elf, only because they were so close at one time. He won't allow anyone else to harm Raze, claiming that he is the only one allowed to fight the half-blood. (Fighting to defend Raze is something that he's going to encounter and when he does, he's going to have trouble coming to terms with it.) Figuring out exactly what he wants to do is something of a problem still. Though he doesn't like what happened between himself and Raze; the burning of their village, he can't quite get past it and he holds onto it like it's the only thing keeping him alive. Iriyn feels that if he lets go of the past that he'll be doing his family and more importantly, his sister, a dishonor. In light of that, he also feels as if it's the only way to stay somewhat close to Raze despite his outward hatred for the man.

Though he's not one to drop to dishonor, he's contemplated it before and has made an attempt when he first found Raze after so many long centuries of searching for him. Iriyn actually despises himself for such an act, and though he hadn't shown it, he was definitely affected by what Raze had said. He doesn't like how Razeluxe thinks of himself. Iriyn is confused and not sure what he should do after having seen Raze for the first time in so long. With this, he isn't sure if he should just confront Razeluxe for another fight, or to try to forgive him and turn half-blood back to what he used to be.

Above all else, Iriyn is loyal to those close -hence the reason for his confusion with Razeluxe and his feeling of betrayal at the same time- He protects people he thinks are not strong enough to save themselves. Once he figures out certain things, and gaining his loyalty, Iriyn will never betray anyone. His word is his oath and he makes sure to keep to his words.
