History: The facility recieved subject 10 on 07/07/20XX. He arrived in a vacuum sealed steel containment unit lined with extreme amounts of salt and lead concentrates. How he survived is unknown. The lifestyle and family of subject 10 is totally unknown. No evidence of his existance beyond the containment unit has been found, as all DNA and material evidence was scrubbed from his body before being sealed inside. The memory and mind of subject 10 was erased as well, leaving nothing but basic motor, hygene and reasoning skills.
Subject 10 was named after the engraving on the containment unit; UNIT ALX-6
Subject appears to be a fairly healthy teenage boy, exhibiting no mental problems. After relearning information about the world his time at the facility began with light social interaction with some of the psychologists and subjects. Quiet, unassuming, and intellectual. He is usually silent, only speaking when spoken to. Alexander is very inquisitive and will go out of his way to learn more about anything that piques the boy's interest. Loves jokes and humor of almost any kind. He has the personality of a brick wall most of the time though, favoring cold rationality above all else.
Recordings of Alexander's meetings have been, for the most part, withheld from the general database. The most information that was revealed was that subject 10 met and spoke with the psychologists, nurses and doctors. When exposed to another bieng of psionic ability though, the gravity within roughly 30 meters of subject 10 increased by nearly 3 G's. In the first few cases of psionic exposure subject 10 did nothing but stare until the other subject left. In the last two though, fairly powerful psychics were sent to interact with subject 10. After a few minutes of staring, the first subject instantly dropped to the floor, screaming in intense pain. Subject 19 died of cardiac arrest. The last subject was beaten repeatedly against a wall via telekinesis until dead. It was decided that no other subjects were to be directly exposed to Alexander.
On 05/14/20XX, Subject 10 volunteered for further testing, claiming that he wanted to know the extent of his power. The following is a list of his current psionic abilities:
Mental Increase- Passive-
Grants subject 10 the ability to think and move simultaneously, as well as process visual information at the exact same moment as it occurs. Also dramatically increases his resistance to mental effects and pain tolerance.
Psychokinesis- Active- No prep/Prep will increase power
This form of psychic energy canneling is definetly subject 10's strongest area of power. Psychokinesis powers manipulate energy by tapping the power of the mind to produce a desired effect. Many of these powers revolve around kinetic actions such as moving, melting, transforming, or blasting a target. Psychokinesis powers can deal large amounts of damage, usually by lifting and launching objects or directly assaulting a target with psychic energy. The largest amount of force he has been able to exert was a minor tremor that shook the entire facility, or the equivalent of a relatively isolated and weak earthquake.
Psychometabolism- Active- No Prep/Prep will increase power/Cannot use any psychic skills for one turn
Psychometabolism allows subject 10 to utilize mental energy to force memory within his or another biological creatures cells via direct physical contact, allowing for rapid healing or damage depending on what state the cells are returned to. The more concentration that is applied to a psychometabolic skill, the better the result turns out. It is a double edged sword however, as it prevents Alexander from utilizing another immediate psychic ability and taxes his mind much more than simple psychokinesis.
Psychoportation- Active- No prep/Prep will increase power
Psychoportation powers move the manifester, an object, or another creature through space or time depending on it's use. This allows subject 10 to charge his own body with psychic energy, disperse the particles making up his body, and reforming them a certain distance away. Any psychoport over 10 meters or continuous use of the power becomes extremely taxing on Alexander's mind.
Psychoboost- Active- No prep/Reduces the power of other psychic skills by an amount proportionate to the energy used to maintain the ability while active
By using this same technique as psychoportation on a smaller scale, subject 10 can increase his natural speed and strength to superhuman levels depending on how much psychic energy is put into the skill.
Barrier- Active- No prep/Prep will increase power
The method of creating a psychic barrier to hold off psychic attacks and projectiles, this barrier is centered on the user and can extend upwards to 5 meters around subject 10 in a dome based on power exerted.
Dispersing- Active- No prep
An ability that allows subject 10 to scatter energy based abilities by forcing an equal amount of psionic energy in an opposing molecular arrangement, effectively nullifying the ability.
PsycheSync- Active- 3 turns of prep
Creates a mental bond with another psychic or psion, allowing the linked pair or people to know the actions of the other with 99.999% accuraccy. Another feature of this link is the ability to manifest powers from other users connected to the link, the minds of the original bearer of the power explaining the use of the skill. The last feature is the ability to share psionic power, amplifying the other link's end and increasing the other's power by a drastic amount, but draining the original sender by a proportional amount of mental energy.
Psysteel/Psycheshock- Active- One turn of prep
An ability unique to subject 10, that manifests itself in the form of physical psionic energy he tends to refer to as Psysteel. By binding matter together with psychic energy, a red, semi-transparent series of objects can be created. These objects can be created as a singular manifestation or multiple small manifestations, but cannot exceed 3.2m cubed in size. Where this power truly shines though, is that when any biological creature comes into contact with the psysteel, causes any nearby nerves to overload and rupture. This causes an extreme amount of pain within the target, and when enough nerves are damaged, causes immediate heart failure. Other side effects are normal symptoms of nerve damage such as spasmodic movement, lose of motor-skills and control around the centered area and an inordinate amount of pain until healed. This phenomenon is called psycheshock. Subject 10's favored manifestation in a broadsword and a needle storm. Psysteel, for a reason unknown, does not affect subject 10. *NOTE- Psysteel comes in two forms: 1) Asa- This form can be used with any psysteel manifestation. It is has a higher density than most metals, but weighs a very small amount. 2) Na- This form can only be used with the smaller manifestations. It has a physical form, but phases through inorganic matter, as only biological structures put up resistance against it's passage. All manifestations of psysteel produe psycheshock.
Retrieving- Semi-Active- No prep
Another psionic power that is fairly unusual. Subject 10 lacks most telepathic abilities common to psychics, excluding the ability to sense strong emotions. The most prominent telepathic power that he displays is psychic conciousness dispersion waves, or retrievers. Retrievers are small amounts of psionic energy with rudimentary intelligence that constantly fly around, observe and relay all sensory information about the surrounding area back to subject 10. The range that these manifestations can travel away from Alexander while still being able to relay information is 30 meters. They don't have a physical form and the only signal of their presence is a slight distortion in the air. Each retriever can manifest very minor psionic abilities, such as moving small objects and sensing emotions. A maximum of 4 retrievers can be manifested at one time.
Other than psychic powers, subject 10 is also proficient with most standard military firearms and requested training with several forms of archaic weaponry (a result of being allowed to read fantasy novels). His last martial skill is excellent hand-to-hand combat abilities, usually augmented by his psionic powers.
Appendix A: Dr O Knight.
In all the experiments and conversations conducted with subject 10, not once has he exhibited any rebellious attitude. The teenager complies with any demand within reason, but responds with only a vacant stare when someone uses a rude or commanding tone. In power and combat evaluations, camera recordings reveal that the subject smiles a fair amount.
Appendix B. Note to attending staff from facility medical personnel.
Effects on staff that spend more than five hours in close proximity to subject 10 will begin to exhibit signs of exhaustion and soreness in the joints. More than 3 days of exposure can cause slight fractures on the bones and tears in the lighter internal tissues to occur. This is thought to be an inadvertant effect of the subject's massive amount of psychokinetic energy leaking out and being exerted as a form of pressure on a subconscious level.
Appendix C. Attached is a word for word explaination of why Subject 10 kills other psions.
"Because...they...they were a threat." the doctor asks 'To who?'. A long pause. "You." No further questions were answered.
"The reason I am now uploading this information to every major government agency on, or off the grid...is because Subject 10 has escaped. We...made a mistake...all tests and previous information regarding psychic powers pointed to lead being able to inhibit psychic energy. That is not the case for subject 10. By using his retrievers, subject 10 was able to determine when and where lead was in proximity to his body, and reduced the amount of psychic energy he emitted. During his entire stay at the facility, he decieved us...a few days ago, upon returning to his cell a massive influx of psionic energy was picked up by our censors. Before any effective countermeasures could be enforced, subject 10 planeshifted. Attempts to retrieve him are under way, but so far unsuccessful. If subject 10 is spotted within your vicinity, refrain from sending in psions below B-Class to retrieve him, as they won't be much more than a nuisance otherwise....Alexander...if you receive this message, please...don't do anything rash."
