As a troubled teen Drag discovered the power trip computers can bring, and depending on who you ask, it all went either down or uphill from there. Choosing to make it his fulltime profession, he started to crave more information and control over the soft and hardware in his surroundings. Even the music he makes carries the numbers important to him in his professional life.
At times he may not always be the most pleasant (or sane) colleague due to a possible undiagnosed mood disorder and a slight taste for illicit substances, but a combination of sheer stubbornness and a sense of comfort that's tied to him knowing about you before you know about him, therapy hasn't really worked out.
Nevertheless if a project is served up to him, he'll make sure it gets done thoroughly and detailed, which usually tips the scale away from "liability" in the eyes of higher ups. With a broad amount of theoretical and practical knowledge of his craft, he truly is the swiss army knife of the digital world.
Though Drag officially has no criminal record (not even a parking ticket), anyone who knows the man is pretty sure cybercrime laws aren't a thing he is overly concerned with.

Aside from his custom laptop and surprising collection of microprocessors his most prized possession is a sunburst Fender Stratocaster guitar with vintage plate. He also has a pet rat named Fish, which is hand trained in gathering usb sticks for Drag's amusement and convenience. Fish travels with Drag when needed as he has the right papers for being an emotional support animal. How that happened, nobody really knows.
