James Strayer

Description
James is a 5'10'' suave young man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is usually wearing glasses and his leather jacket. All in all there is not much significant about his looks. However, Jimmy has a problem with luck. He has too much luck both bad and good. His day will be going great until he gets hit by a car and then luckily survives. His luck has always been fluctuating and he can do nothing about
Personality
He is generally optimistic and, although his luck can be great at times, he usually wishes that he was more like normal people. He is not certain whether there's some outside force controlling his patterns of misfortune and fortune. He knows that he can't stop it though, so instead he has learned to live with it. A fairly 'normal' man, he enjoys all kinds of music and is usually calm and collected.
Equipment
Jim isn't very skilled at anything that doesn't involve games of chance but he does carry some equipment just to be safe.
Knife: a basic pocket knife with three types of blades, one with serrated edges.
Leather jacket: In his life the only thing that he knows will give him luck is his leather jacket. When wearing it he is rarely hurt, always avoiding danger at the last second.
History
James has just moved to Wing City from up north. He has just gotten a job as a bartender at Gambit's Bar.
So begins...
James Strayer's Story
James Strayer was always in the mood for some grub, "Sure, what do ya have?" He sat up and sung his legs over the side of the bed. He put on some boxers and a pair of jeans before completely getting out of bed.
James Strayer nodded, "I could go for some eggs n ham." He got up and stretched, "You mind if I use your shower?"
James Strayer smiled. "Thanks." He walked into the bathroom and turned on the water. He disrobed himself and jumped under the stream. Sandy was probably able to hear him humming the two-step in the shower.
James Strayer finished in the shower, and stepped out. He dried off and re-dressed in hin his boxers and jeans. Then he went to the bed and found his shirt. He also put that on before going into the kitchen area.
"Do you have any coffee?" James asked, hopefully. He waited for her to sit down to eat, anything else would just be rude in his book.
James Strayer smiled to himself and began to chow down as well. After taking a few bites and washing it all down with a swig of coffee, he looked up. "This is really good Sandy. Probably my first real homemade breakfast in years."
James Strayer laughed, taken off guard. "Thanks, and you have a beautiful...face." He laughed again, unused to giving or receiving compliments. He continued to eat, enjoying the company and food.
James Strayer finished not soon after her and helped her to get the dishes put away. "So, what's the plan for today?" He asked. Everything felt so different, yet so right. He felt like he could take on the world with her.
James Strayer laughed and made a point of checking her out. "Do you really need to get dressed?" He winked. He just felt so, comfortable with her. He raised his hand to caress her cheek. Something clicked and he almost blurted it out, "I-I think I love you."
James Strayer 's heart fluttered and he stepped forward. He was at a loss for words so he tried to make up for it with action. He took her in an embrace and bent to kiss her, [I'm in love!]
in that moment, James felt a connection and something like an addiction start up in his heart of hearts. This girl, this woman that he loved, he would do anything for her and he had never felt more lucky in his life. The kiss lasted for what seemed like years and seconds at the same time before they finally pulled away. " I love you Sandy Bothes."
James Strayer stepped back to let Sandy go change. He sat down and waited for her to come back. He now understood what lovestruck meant and he definitely was.
The setting changes from Gambit's Hotel, 2nd Floor to Wing City Gardens (South)
James Strayer walked into the gardens with a picnic basket in his left hand and Sandy's hand in his other. He stopped at a clear spot right underneath an oak tree. "This looks like a great spot." He spread out a blanket and sat down motioning Sandy to join him.
James Strayer opened the basket and pulled out a seemingly endless amount of food. [because food is the date of choice, right?] He leaned against the tree and let Sandy get first choice.
James Strayer noticed all of Sandy's smiling and mistook it, "What's so funny?" He wondered if he had done something wrong. He took a sandwich and bit into it without even checking what was in it.
James Strayer took a look around. He noticed all of the marvelous plants from around the universe. Their colors meshed and blended way that could dazzle even the hardest war veteran. "This place is beautiful." He slid closer to her and looked into her eyes. "Just like you."
James Strayer kissed her back, enjoying every second of it. "Can you really call a man beautiful?" He asked, a smile in his eyes. He looked around and saw that no one else were in the gardens. "You know, we're the only ones out here." He said seductively.
