Nikita wanted to shriek out that there was no way, no fricken way, that he was a vampire. "You're delusional?" Actors were an odd lot... Then again, she was a necromancer.

The moment that the word popped into her head the earlier wind returned, but much stronger, tugging on their clothing, nearly demanding attention.

"Come on, delusions of being a vampire?" Niki's heart was beating a million miles per minute, it felt. Please let it be a delusion.

The wind whipped even faster, cold fingers dragging themselves down Nikita

's skin, causing her to shiver. Her gaze darted to the wind, lips twisting downwards into a frown. This was what she had been sitting in the mud for hours for.

Nikita Mourning shook her head, though she was a bit distracted. Figuring that the best thing to do was to 'ignore' the wind, and the powers behind it, Nikita tried to speak, and ended up yelling, "Nope. I don't read tabloids, and I don't watch television... Isn't this bugging you at -all-?"

She thought it was, "I... Think so." Her necromancy was crapy, at best, and having a vampire (he must have been one) wasn't helping her at all. "Do you think it's a bad spirit?"

"If it's dead you're blade will go right through it." Her response was deadpanned, but she was scared. The wind continued, howling now, until a light started to flicker just at the edge of her vision, but it appeared to be growing fast- coming much closer.

The spirit was suddenly right there- and it was a girl, probably late teens or early twenties. She stomped a foot, causing the dry ground to turn into mud, "You shouldn't hang out with vampires," she told Nikita, rather snootily.

The ghost flickered, ignoring the vampire, "Really, it's horrible. esides, they're not as much fun." The ghosts eyes seemed to flash, "With the power of a ghost you can do things. With a vampire, pfft!"

The ghost flickered some more, laughing. It sounded eeiry, and a bit wrong, "But you still find yourself near a necromancer."

The ghost turned, and Nikita suddenly remembered that she should talk, to something to that effect, "Uh, you've been making my life hard!"

She repeated what she had said to the vampire earlier, loudly, fearfully.

"A necromancer is a person who controls the dead," the ghost responded tartly, "And how else was I to get your attention? You're always pretending you don't see us... Who else watched a person jump from the roof at 2:34 every day?"

Nikita scoffed, blushing. Her power shrank against her skin, as if it were trying to protect her from the truth, "I..I!"

"I.. Don't know." Nikita flung out her hand and focused on the spirit. "Go away!" She yelled out, but the spirit laughed- and flickered a few times. "You're not well enough trained to actually banish me," she scoffed, "Besides I'll leave... Once I give you a gift,"

She stared at the vampire, a nasty smile lighting her lips, "I could give you a gift, too, if you want?"

"I'll let you feel like a human again. You can eat, smell, taste, feel... But you'd still be a vampire. You'd still cringe at sunlight, be unable to go out it. You can eat, though... On one condition."

"Stay with the necromancer until she's learned what she needs to learn to..." The ghost trailed off, flashin that smile, and shimmering. She blinked in and out of existence several times, lips moving but no sound coming out.

Nikita tensed, "I don't want to learn anything. It's a useless skill!"

Nikita Mourning had been waiting for a while. She had waited through the other's leaving, she had waited until it was dark, and she had waited for the moon to be full and ripe in the sky above her.

Then she had waited until she had drown her circle in blood and salt, a makeshift bandage wrapped around her arm, lips pursed. She was going to attempt to raise a once great man of God, who had been so very corrupted. He was legend amongst the necromancers in these parts, and she had been so curious, so very curious.

That is why she was here, at least, standing on the edge of her circle, but still inside of it, a cloak wrapped around her lithe form, dark hair shifting in the wind, blue eyes focused on the ground. Her apperance was fake, but she didn't want anyone, anything, to know what she was doing.

"Dominique, I call to you..."

A spirit not at terms with its death was around, though not so much a body. It had been years, many years in fact, since he had lived. A quiet, unfulfilled afterlife spent carefully not moving on for fear of what lay on the opposite side. He had all but abandoned his god, and for that he deserved hell, but he was not so willing to just give in. In fact he was damn well going to fight it tooth and nail if he could.

And now a voice called to him, something in the darkness, some sort of woman? How curious. Perhaps a cleric or priestess seeking to communicate with ghosts. She could surely help him atone. He gravitated towards her, his presence becoming more noticeable, though it was hard to pick just where he came from. His soul had all but become a part of the world at this point.

Nikita could feel a presence, although she was unsure if it was the spirit that she wanted. Infusing her circle of power with even more of her power, she closed her eyes, concentrating and 'feeling' the spirit...

Yes it was him!

Her eyes popped open, a small smile curling her lips. She was no priestess, at least, not one who was trained in the arts. She was, in fact, not even a good person.

"By my voice, I call to you, by my blood, I call to you. Dominique, show yourself, allow for the air to shape you, give you solid form so we may speak."

There was an apparition, slowly forming in the air, a ghostly crusader of times long since past, red cross emblazoned across his white clothing, cold sky blue eyes that seemed to pierce where they stared, and foppish well-cared for hair. His expression looked sour, but that was more a matter of who he was instead of any actual disposition.

"I am here," he said simply, voice accented with French rolling off of his tongue. Whether this was a form he was most comfortable, natural or preferred was impossible to tell.

Nikita could hardly contain her excitement, but she took a large breath. "It has been six years since your passing, and you are discussed in whispers. I want to know," she stopped for a moment, curling her fingers into fists, "I Want to know how you became what you did become. It is shrouded in mystery!"

She smiled wider, showing her teeth, "In return I may be able to gift you a form of existence, a human body even, for a short amount of time."

While he answered, as it was only polite to do so for the first person to talk to you in years, his tone had soured slightly. "A mage changed me, though I was willing to subject myself to it." His arms folded before his cross defensively. "I was not aware the news of my death would reach anyone, though I am not surprised the crusaders noticed me missing."

"But to be raised would be given a chance to redeem my past actions in the eyes of god, and atone for my sins. I would be eternally grateful."

Nikita Mourning could not contain her glee. She beamed outright, clasping her hands together like a child one. "Do you know the spell? Could you recall it? What about the mage?"

She shook her head for a bit, licking her lips greedily. "What about the reason you changed? The one who killed you? We don't have proper reports on that."
