A tall girl, 5'11, with long, thin, grey-brown hair and yellow eyes. Delicate features and quite thin with long tapered fingers and graceful limbs. Very easy on the eyes. Contrary to appearance, she's actually quite accident-prone, with no aptitude for sports, though she enjoys participating in physical activity. Wears loose dresses, and flip-flips most of the time. When it's cold, she slings on a wrap sweater and clunky boots. Wears a leather sling that rests on her hip with a small bundle of fuzz and feathers that does by the name of Kiwee. 20 years old, though looks a bit older.
Kiwee the kiwi is a young small Little Spotted Kiwi, still quite young. However, he has a different form he can turn into-- a six-winged peacock with razor-sharp primary wing-feathers! Kiwee can talk mentally to people and has human sentience due to being around Lia when he looks like a peacock.

Description
Personality
A solid presence, graceful and has a quiet authority about her. Loves tech things and drools over anything futuristic. Unlady-like with manners and just a tiny bit pervy. She likes to take off her clothes, even in public places, though she normally limits it them to her shirt. She's very brave but not to the point of recklessness. She identifies something that needs to be done and does it, regardless of the harm that comes to her. Acutely aware of the harm that it does to others though. A bit of a trouble-maker, she dislikes rules and the feeling of being constrained, whether it's within society's dogma or her clothes. Really hates her name and will correct people immediately if they call her Palia.
Kiwee is adorable and soft and loves to snuggle in his kiwi form. When he or Lia is threatened, he will turn into his peacock form and is much more independent and can understand human speech, becoming quite the sarcastic feathered being and is extremely protective of Lia.
Equipment
Carries a journal she writes in and uses as a weapon at times. Other than that, she's really a peaceful person, but she's not afraid to fight dirty if need be.
Can influence the thoughts of others, but once they're aware of her power, it diminishes a bit. She's extremely effective when people are distracted or daydreaming.
History
She grew up on the move, her parents being exotic animal researchers. She learned to shoot a gun in Africa--but just tranq darts-- and then when she was 12, they moved to New Zealand where she was enrolled in public school and hated every minute of it. She earned the nickname of "Ice Queen" among her peers because she was so unapproachable. The girls were threatened by her looks and appeal, and the boys got down-right nasty after she spurned their advances. She didn't mind though since she kept to herself most of the time anyway. It was all just very loud and noisy after the wide savannas of Africa. She just focused on getting by, doubling up on classes and graduating early. Started to go to college, then decided it wasn't for her, spending most of her time in the woods. That's where she found Kiwee. Moved to the US with her parents, smuggling in Kiwee. They spend their time dealing with the more exotic animals in zoos and she spends her time working as a little cafe in town.
