Age: 24
Species: Unknown - She would call herself a mutant. She had the ability to shift into a fox but when she couldn't fully shift, she became a half creature.
Gender: Female
Due to a life changing experience several aspects of Sabetha have changed.
Occupation: None
Relationship: None
Appearance: Barely taller than 5'1, Sabetha is built like a twig, bony and very thin, often mistaken for being malnourished and sickly. In actual fact she has very lean muscle, capable of carrying her swiftly for many miles.
While still skeletal and slightly disfigured with shoulders hunched as if her body was meant to be aligned with all four appendages on the ground, the initial shock of the odd figure is startling but it suits her as she now holds her head up high and does not stoop to hide herself.
Living as a street urchin she didn’t have the luxury to clean up and nor did her attitude allow her. Now having changed drastically she has made an effort to change who she is. Her once bark-like and straw hair now is cleaner and while is still rather thin is growing better and has a healthy shine to it, the natural curls are coming back out, making her look younger. Her fox ears are no longer hidden and the mottled fur is now fresh and almost fluffy.
Her canine teeth while still yellow no longer have the grime and filth covering them. Her slitted feline eyes still hold their eerie green colour and can look quite terrifying especially when the light catches them and they reflect a ghostly glow. Sharp elongated nails while tidier are still long and sharp.
No longer feeling compelled to appear as she believed she should Sabetha has discarded the rags and now wears the clothes she reserves for assignments, a simply tunic over the top of tan knee length pants.
These small changes may not be able to hide her odd appearance but she no longer is perceived as threatening.
Personality: Sabetha has had a rollercoaster ride of a life. In her youth she was a rather quiet and solemn child but as any child does, she had natural curiosity and loved life. That all turned darker when after she shifted, she and her beloved father fled their small village. With nothing but the clothes on their backs and a few small coins they were forced to live in the slums. It hardened the poor youth very quickly and she to survive she would often sacrifice much, like the horrific pain of shifting to hunt for food. Her natural curiosity turned into a skill of thievery, she was thrust into a world of darkness and it was either sink or swim. For a while she managed to swim, keeping her head barely above water by distancing herself from morality and her happy self.
This hardened young Sabetha and she became increasingly rude and calloused, mainly because she had to be to deal with the underwold that she had found herself a part of. However, despite her darkening self she was attempted to keep some sort of balance for her father, if it weren’t for him she wouldn’t know what would happen. As it so happened her father was murdered and this drove her into a violent and grief-stricken rage. So desperate and broken that she hunted down the killers and slaughtered them in cold blood. It was this action that finally drove her to the edge. Her dark persona finally became her. For a long time she was simply cruel and heartless but as the years went by she grew into the darkness and while always had a fiery pit of rage and hate inside her she adjusted and became rather mischievousness, delving into the malicious. She was often rude and sarcastic when speaking to people. She enjoyed dark humour and liked watching people squirm.
She became so horrible and desolate that she began to make a name for herself as a ruthless assassin. She was the one people sent to retrieve things. She had a knack for stealing and greatly enjoyed it, although, arguably, she seemed to enjoy the chasing part more. Her reputation grew and a part of her revelled in it, but a small part of her detested it as it proved that she truly was a monster. She became a deeply suspicious person since losing her father. Sab believed she since she was a monster than there was nothing she could do to change her appearance. This made her very aggressive, judgemental and assuming when she dealt with anyone.
A drastic change altered this, a test showed that she in fact wanted to save herself and so she brought herself back to the light. Of course, after everything changing who she is wasn’t going to be easy. However, now with her new found self confidence and acceptance she was going to be better. She refused to allow her past actions and appearance dictate who she could be. Her maliciousness and mischievousness turned into playful cheek while still slightly rude. She still struggles not to assume that everyone is against her, but she is trying.
Her broken heart is slowly mending, although until she can find someone who will truly care for her it will always have that crack that was done by the death of her father. While she has changed for the better she is still Sabetha and everything that has happened hasn’t suddenly disappeared, meaning she is still sarcastic and a pessimist. With her turn around she now refuses to go back to working in the world of crime. Although, that doesn’t mean she’s getting rid of her skill for sneakery and thievery, those still come in handy.
Weakness: While she has great endurance, she is left with next to no strength, a result of being hungry and on the run often. And if Sab isn't able to get out of a situation using her agility then she's pretty much doomed. But that isn't to say she wouldn't fight every step of the way!
Weapons/Abilities: Is a skilled 'shadow'. She blends into the dark, is able to hide in plain sight and is very good at stealth. A honed pick-pocketer and apt with a small blade. She doesn't have any magic or 'powers', she has been forced to learn the art of survival.
