"It is." She admitted, looked over it. She wasn't crossing. "I won't jump, if that's what you're thinking." She assured him, though she was still looking. "It'd break my fiance's heart." She sighed. It was tempting. Without Karato, what was she? She didn't know. What was she to do without the demon? At least Karato was still alive, even if they couldn't speak, and Molly was barred from visiting Karato. Hell, she was still being made to go to therapy for the entire experience.
Joshua would've raised an eyebrow, but he didn't have any, "Well, that's something to hang on to. What's got you down?" He asked, offering a small smile through his bandages. His eyes, if she looked at them, could be seen as a lightl blue glow coming from where his eyes should've been.
"...It's a long story. But my...sister is in jail now, with no visitation allowed. We've never been separated before. She's my twin." And it sucked. Karato had been an abusive bitch, but she had been Molly's abusive bitch. She didn't know what she was going to do without her.
Joshua had never had a sibling. At least as far as he could remember. "Well, things change I suppose, and you have your fiance to help. Why are you all the way out here?" He asked, wondering if maybe her fiance had come out here with her and left to go pee int he woods or something.

Joshua shrugged, "Well, a lot of people don't recognize they're being abused until afterwords, your employers are probably just taking a precaution." He said, leaning on a thick branch that hung out over the gap that the bridge crossed.

"I'm Molly." She said and sighed. "I guess. I mean I know her hitting me was not right. But she was my sister, and she would not let anyone else hurt me." She said and sighed. "Just her. She was protective you know." Possessive was more like it. Karato didn't like letting anyone anywhere near Molly, and only allowed Lorn near because Lorn had also been a host.
Joshua didn't really know what she meant by protective. He'd grown up without a family, at least as far as he could remember, and he'd not really had anyone to be protective of. He thought for a moment, "Well, just hitting can be considered abuse." He said, trying to remember some things from a book of law he'd read once.
"Yeah. She hit me in front of the Director." She admitted. "It was a mistake. She's never hit me in public before." This time though. This time, the one time, and in front of entirely the wrong crew. "I guess I just screwed up that bad,"
Joshua shook his head, "I'm sure you didn't do anything wrong. It sounds like she wasn't a very nice sister." He said, frowning a little. His bandages only creased a little. Joshua hadn't been raised to respect others, but he never hit anyone unless they were hurting him.
"She wasn't really my sister. I was her Host. She was...She used me to keep her alive for a long time, she was so weak. I took good care of her." She nodded. "Good care. And she took good care of me."
Joshua would have raised an eyebrow there too, "Was she a demon?" He'd only heard of demons needing people to do that. Often times tricking them into signing things, or something of the sort. She must've gone into it willingly though. How strange.
"Doesn't sound like she took good care of you if she hit you." He added.

"She took great care of me!" Molly protested. "She took amazing care of me!" Molly stepped off the bridge, looking like she was going to attack Joshua. "She's not abusive! I deserved every fucking hit!" Every single one, for failing to defend herself, her friend. For screwing up a banishment and inside accepting Karato's spirit into her. She deserved every strike.
Joshua almost brought up a hand to catch her hit, but she didn't swing. He let out a quiet sigh of relief, "No one deserves to be hit." He said, keeping his ground for the most part. He didn't like her shouting at him, so he lowered his own tone.
"I did. I wasn't strong enough. I deserved it." She said, and collapsed to the ground to curl around herself, holding her knees to her chest. "I couldn't keep her out. I deserved everythign she gave me."
Joshua knelt down beside her, and put a hand on her shoulder, "It's alright, that's exactly what she trained you to think." He said, patting her shoulder lightly. He mumbled the last of it and hoped that if she heard it then she wouldn't be too angry. She already seemed on edge. If she could feel has hand well, it'd feel very rough even through the bandages.
"I miss her. Why do I miss her? She hit me, she mocked me. She treated me like trash. I had to fight to have one friend, and then when Lorn became more, I had to fight harder. Why was she so cruel?" Molly was in absolute tears over it all. Why, why, why!
Joshua wiped a finger and wiped away some tears, "It'll be okay, she's gone now. You're free to love who you want, and to meet who you want." He said, smiling lightly. His little glowing specks that were his eyes glimmered lightly, and he patted her shoulder again.
"She was a demon, Molly. It's in their nature." He said lightly, standing again. He grunted a little as he stood, and placed a hand on his midsection.

"I guess." She said, and sighed. "Thanks." She looked away. "Sorry if I scared you earlier. It's just so weird being alone in my head, and knowing that I'm only alone because she'd behind the shields. She'll be so much worse when she gets out."
Joshua smiled, "It's alright, I wish I was alone in my head." He muttered. When he was younger he overused his Banishing abilities, and the effects were tragic on his body and his mind. The voices in his head weren't other living things like Molly had once had, but just figments of Joshua's own creation.

"There are ways around killing you," He said, with a slight smile, "I would know, I'm a banisher." He said, chuckling a little. After his short lived chuckle, he broke into a fit of coughs that eventually turned into terribly violent hacking noises. He had to brace himself on the branch and face away for a moment until he could speak again.
"Are you okay?" She seemed worried as she moved closer, putting a a hand on his back. "I can do some minor healing, if it would help out?" Was he ill?
Joshua waved has hand a little, "No, no I'm fine. Nothing you can do could help me now." He said, the face of his bandages a little darkened by the blood he just spat out. His body was basically destroyed from the energy that his powers used being incredibly volatile to demons and humans.
