Kieran, while generally being a nice, kind-hearted person, grew sombre and hateful after all that he worked hard for was so carelessly ripped from him. He's an extrovert and can make friends with people easily, but lately he's lost the incentive to do so.

Background:
Average. Boring. Unimpressive. Those were the words often used to describe Kieran. Coming from a relatively poor family from Korea, Kieran learned early that he must work hard to get something that he wants. He didn't grow up with a silver spoon in his mouth. He grew up covered in sweat, toiling day in and day out to provide for his family and let his younger siblings have the education taken away from him. He loved his family, but he also wanted to do something for himself.
Kieran had a passion for dance, and a talent happened upon him during one of his many part time jobs. He was offered the chance to be a back-up dancer for an up and coming popstar where they would pay handsomely. Of course, he agreed at once. For two years he worked as a back up dancer to various singers who toured all over the world. He saw sights he never would have if he simply stayed at home. And he met new interesting people.
The possibility of something like the Olympus Academy existing never crossed his mind before, and certainly not the idea that he would be asked to attend. The letter arrived during what was supposed to be the biggest day of his life. He was about to be given a chance to do more than just be a back-up dancer, and go on his very own tour. He was about to ask his long time girlfriend, a journalist he met in Amsterdam, to marry him. He was about to make something of his life - to be happy. And the letter asked him to give it all up.
He didn't want to... Not at all. But it wasn't like he had a choice. Ripped away from all that was good in his life, the only thing left for him was to win the stupid title and be done with it.
