As Jared approached the growing crowd in Violet's room he noticed the new kid. Zius, was that his name? Jared then wheeled himself in between Vincent and Zius. "Ah! I see you are now all awake. Anyways if you want to know what happened was that both of you had passed out after Vincent dug me out, and then after I argued with the police and ambulances drivers I was able to get you to out of there. By my own means of travel that is. Anyways after I had done that I think you two deserved better care so I fetched some gowns and bandages, along with a few wheelchairs and went to go see why the power is not working. I discovered that while we were gone the only thing that happened was that someone tinkered with it manually. What I mean by that is that the main circuit boards are pulled out along with the processor that turns combustion into electricity", Jared stopped to take a breath. "Anyways after I took care of Vincent and Violet accordingly, bandgages, gowns, you get the picture, I went down to try and fix it, but we are missing vital parts", Jared stopped to let all of the information sink in. He also blushed whenever he spoke of taking care of their gowns and bandages.

Suddenly Vince began to turn a shade of red. Was that in response to his Violet comment? What in the...well everyone has their perks I guess. That didn't matter to him, Violet was quite the catch, and if nobody else was going to cast out their line to this violet haired beauty, then Zius was going to have to be the one to work his magic. He smiled at the suggestion, looking to Violet and blowing her a sarcastic kiss with his non mechanical arm. "Well Vincey, I suppose before I spontaneously combust I could have a look around, get my bearings in this place. I have a feeling this HQ is a lot bigger than it lets on." As he watched Vince raise his arm, he laughed, showing him his own mechanical one. "Hey it could be worse, you could look like me, but then again, I'm not complaining, so maybe it's not such a bad thing." He chuckled, turning to head out the door.
Just as he turned however, another man came in through the door, also confined to a wheelchair apparently. This kid looked like one of those brainy types, a kid who would have most likely received a lot of the wrong attention in school. Zius didn't like the way the kid just looked at him and flew right past him, not introducing himself in the slightest. Rudeness was not something he tolerated kindly. "Well, since introductions haven't been made, I'm going to assume it's ok to call you...Specs. Yeah that name suits you. So we have..Specs...Vincey..annnnd...I'll think of a nickname for you in time Violet. Well I'll let you all get reacquainted then, don't mind me." With that he walked out, intentionally clapping Specs a little harder than he normally would on the shoulder with his mechanical arm as he did so.
Zius turned in the hallway and headed down the hall, looking for some type of main room where he could cool his head. A likely place was found and he sat down on the large couch in the room in the large living room, apparently some kind of living room or whatever they called it, taking out his tool kit and opening the service panel on his forearm, absentmindedly fiddling with the electronics concealed there. The first thing the government handlers told him was not to mess with them unless they were in need of repair, but of course he didn't listen, instead choosing to familiarize himself with each and every wire, chip, and power node. It was his body after all.

Even as he spoke he was trying to fit everything together. First they had been exposed to the public when the building collapsed, now they were in their own home, only, according to Jared, someone had broken their generator. Only those who worked in this facility would know where it was or how exactly it worked, leading him to believe it was the supposed good guys who had done this. The government would try and cover this up, they always did, but if it had gone beyond a simple cover up story, then it could mean nothing good for the group now.
"Jared, can you stay here and look after Violet? I'm going to have a look around for himself, see if I can find any clues...and pants..." Vincent says, blushing slightly and laughing a little as he heads out of the room.
The first thing he did was make his way back to his room, where he quickly got dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a black t-shirt, then he began looking the place over. though he quickly realized there was nothing much to see, everyone who normally worked there was gone, all the doors that were usually kept locked were not, and for the first time in a while he was actually able to walk outside of the compound without needing clearance. It was an odd feeling, one that was a combination of loneliness and a sort of pride. He now knew that he had to be the leader. Jared was a good man, but always liked to think things over too much, which was good, but not for a person who needed to make a quick decision. Violet was strong and smart, but her emotions got to her too often, meaning she didn't keep her cool as well as a leader should. Vincent felt, hoped, he would be a good balance between the two.
Then he thought of the new man, Zius, and went to find him.
