Introduction

In a desert far far away there is a cube-like building where newest games are set out. Games as well are created in the same building just a different section. The main popular game 'Virtual' is a game where you enter a room full of pods and have sunglasses-like things that are called 'visuals'. Once entering a pod you will go into a dream-like state and a grid will appear where you can completely remake whatever you like to do or be. You can create whatever you like, you have the option to be good, evil, or neutral. Everything would be created from the mind.
How most players make it function is by building a world such as a ruined building or a some chaotic place where there is an enemy. There would be many missions to do and each player receives a special type of suit/armor/whatever you wanna call it. If you play with others you can form a squad and go out to destroy monsters in a ruined building or whatever place you set yourself in.
Its your choice to make up what world you want to form. Everything is in the palm of your hands, do what you'd like.

"Nera!" His personaility had changed quite a bit since he was last here. And he didn't like putting up with Amthyst whiny crap. "Where the hell are you? Show yourself coward! Can't we just battle to the death right now? It will be easier for you since i'm leveled down and the only things i have are a few items I picked up. SO COME ON!" He was all pumped up for a good battle, especially since monsters didn't appear on the first floor.

Pierce stopped drooling and woke up inside a pod. "Crap, not again!" he flipped a couple of switches then went back to the grid. "Eeep! Creepy computer lady. Uh, Original with cool shades. Woah!" Then fell face first into the portal, hitting his head on the dusty desert ground. "You guys! Ah, this sucks!" He got up off the ground and into the building running into the red cage of an elevator. He sighed and opened the door and went up to the floor where his orange visuals sensed where they were. "You guys! Hey-woah whats up with the air. I can literally see the tension!"

LoGIK appeared suddenly, a short distance in front of Freeze. "Greetings, Freeze." LoGIK said, "I have designed a program based off of your idea, which takes bodies and exchanges them for currency. I have also updated the current Inventory system and designated a specific place in the inventory to be able to carry a body, which will slow players down significantly." LoGIK brought up a screen in front of him and turned it towards freeze, which showed a demo video of the content he had designed.

Freeze got out of his bad mood for a moment to check out the new program. "Ah, nice, LoGIK. This is good since players won't be able to carry many bodies...but what if we made it so every monster they killed, they get a part of its skeleton. Then later on they can trade it in for a special item if they collect a certain amount of that skeleton. And they can't get more then one piece of a certain skeleton, so they can only get the special item once. And also in the colosseum ruins where the players can fight each other or the bosses, when they kill each other they should be able to collect some of their skeleton as well. But they should be able to choose what they want as well if its a player. But then again it should be limited but also worth something of great quality if its something orz someone significantly strong." His eyes scrolled over the screen, checking each thing tab by tab, tapping his fingers over the screen as he continued the search over the program. Then pointed out other changes that would make it a much more efficient for other players as well as the work load for others.
"Oh and Jello Pierce."

Sankyuu LoGIK, for pointing that out. Om, but before I do, I have a question. Nera....It pained him to say the name, even within his own thoughts but continued. He created a section of the game, as i've been informed of this by player #10-27, Amthyst. Is this area within the boundary or does it recede further and...Where exactly is it? He was very worried if it was outside of the boundary because if it was...the real world could be in mortal danger. His fist clenched at the thought of his game being destroyed. His life, being completely and utterly destroyed.

"You are referring to the Lava Cove, a yet untested, Beta version of an upcoming level in the game. It is currently out of the boundary; inaccessible to all players. However, I may make a bridge for you to get there, if need be. Coordinates for the bridge will be 295-377-834. When you get there, let me know. I will generate a pathway for you." LoGIK said. "I'm afraid I cannot give you exact coordinates of the Lava Cove, as it may allow you to fast-travel between that area and the current main segment of the game. I'm afraid that would be against the rules. Also, I will need to delete the bridge behind you after you cross, as to avoid any unnessecary players crossing into the Lava Cove. I will, however, recreate this bridge upon re-arrival to the point on the island where the bridge will connect. Is this understood?"

Understood. Sankyuu LoGik. He clicked off the ear piece and looked at the both of them. "I have received the coordinates from LoGIK as to where we should head next." Freeze whispered something inaudible and a small keyboard appeared at his fingertips. He went over several keystrokes then typed in the coordinates to where they should be heading. It appeared as a small dot on their visuals, as a keypoint to their next destination. "Lets take the easy way, the long way sucks." The easy way was a lot more dangerous though. Within the center of the desert lay a gigantic black hole that served as a gateway that lead to the other side of the city-styled level 3. The line where level 3 and level 4 crossed is where the bridge would appear. The trouble was getting to the black hole, filled with traps, monsters, and anything else deemed dangerous.

She could feel it. The pain rising in her brain. She knew what was going to happen next, the words that no one else could hear buzzed through her mind. Ahh, poor sad little Freeze. Too bad he doesn't realize that even LoGIK's idea as to where the next location may be, is completely wrong. I relocate my hideout every twenty-five minutes. Good luck finding me...Muahahaha. Nera's voice slowly began to drift from her head. Amthyst slowly began to sit down cross-legged on the ground. She laid onto her back, closed her eyes and tried to use the powers that had been given to her from the day she was born. Powers that could show her the future. Powers she had kept away from everyone. She was the only one in the whole world who could see the future whenever she wanted, and for however long she wanted. She sat up quickly as the images of Nera, a valcano, and a parking lot flowed into her mind. She tried to zoom in. Just to see what the time was on the clock in the back of the parking lot. She couldn't. It was as if something. Someone. Was not allowing her to see the time. This normally works! Why can't it work now! She screamed in her mind. When she finally allowed her vision to drift away, she looked over at Freeze. He was messing with some wierd game-configurer-thing and she wasn't about to ask questions. Her gaze headed towards Pierce, who was, as usual, being some sort of imbosil. Why can't I be more normal? She asked herself. Why do I have to be trapped in a game that will never end? Why does my arm feel as though some sort of knives are puncturing it? And as if to answer her last question her pet, Arctik, squealed with glee on her left shoulder blade. "Oh Arctik! How'd you get here? Silly girl!" She whispered quietly to her bat. She knew she could be a pain, but atleast Arctik fit into her inventory. And items that went into an inventory, could NEVER be lost, stolen or removed. So atleast Arctik would be safe...She turned to Freeze, "Any ideas how we're gonna get to this dudes lab?" She asked as she watched Arctik gracefully fly over to a chair and land on the arm of it.

Using a remote command, LoGIK reactivated Freeze's earpiece. "Freeze, I'm picking up an anomaly in your current area. It may be a hacker, or it could be something else. Watch your back." LoGIK said. "I'll be there as soon as I can, but right now, I have a few things to handle, so you're going to need to be careful. 802.31 meters North, 27 meters West is where I spotted the anomaly last. Be sure to be on the lookout." With that, LoGIK turned to a screen floating in front of him, and began tapping a few things, dragging files from here to there, and sorting things out between certain issues.

Amthyst was shocked. Freeze was usually stubborn and always got what he wants. But she placed Arctik in her inventory and walked out to the 'Peak'. The Peak was a giant cliff that, sometimes you could see twelve different Islands revolving around a black hole, each island parked five minutes in each spot before continuing to rotate. She looked back once, to make sure Pierce and Freeze were closely behind, took a deep breath and jumped to the Island that just parked below the Peak. She could hear the wind flowing through her ears, and finally, ground. She was completely unharmed. She looked up and saw Pierce and Freeze standing at the edge looking down...
