He took the pot back and put in on the stove. He put some water and milk and stuff in it and turned the stove on, stirring it slowly.
"Anyway, make yourself at home." He smiled, trying to wipe his face on his sleeve to rid himself of any tears left. "Mi casa es su casa... I think... did I say that right?" He whispered under his breath. He shrugged. If he did, who cared?

"Mew..." A small gray cat mewed from his leg.
"Oh hey, Silver." Misaki bent down and pet the cat. "I didn't hear you come in." He looked over at his open window. He left it open all the time, and Silver, that cat that Misaki had grown attached to, came and went as she pleased. She was Misaki's first friend once he had died. He walkd over to the fridge and grabbed a can of tuna, sliceing the top off with one of his knives. He set the can down on the floor by the way and Silver walked over and started to eat.
A slow hiss suddenly came from the stove. The stuff in the pot had boiled over.
"Shit, not again!" Misaki immeadeatly pulled the pot off the stove. "Every freaking time..." He mumbled softly. He grabbed a towel and wiped the stove quickly, before it could stick.
Silver walked over to Mika and jumped on the couch, rubbing against her leg. "Mew..." she purred as she layed down by her.

The fur felt so smoothe on her hands. It helped Mika to relax just a bit, focusing only on the feeling of the cat's soft fur.

"Thought I had it this time..." He mumbled to himself.
He tried again, this time putting in a small ramp to lead the hook away from the ledge it was catching on. It worked this time, the small hook pulling all the way to the bottom. He clicked the button and the hook shot back to the top, latching. Misaki slid the slimer metal rod back into the larger one through the bottom and skrewed the bottom lid on. Now all that was left was to test it.
He stood up and twirled the long rod around a few times, before stopping. He grabbed it at his side. It was almost as tall as he was. He pulled the hook again all the way to the bottom and the small rod inside retracted, causeing the many sections of the rod fell away from each other. Misaki swung it around a few times. It was like a pair of nunchucks. Only instead of two handles, there were about fifty. They were all connected by a special string. He pressed another button and the rod snapped back straight, latching again so it would come apart.
"I win." He mumbled.

"Nothing, nothing." Misaki smirked. He snapped his fingers and the pole dissapeared, to be used later. "Silver!" He called. The kitten looked up, and jumped off Mika's lap. He ran over to Misaki, who had layed his handon the ground. Silver climbed up his arm and setted on his shoulder. Misaki walked over and sat next to Mika. Silver jumped off Misaki's shoulder andon Mika's head, settleing himself in a bed make of her hair. Misaki laughed, rubbing behind the cat's ears.
"He's just adorable." He smiled. He layed his head back on he arm of the couch, letting his legs lay across Mika's lap. "Hope you don't mind." He said.

Mika crossed her arms at the cat but otherwise smiled. She stared down at his legs making a face. "Sure I dont mind.." she mumbled with a roll of her eyes. She brought her hands up and bringing the cat back down. "My head isnt a bed mister." she said playfully. Mika let the cat go on the ground before getting up, pushing Misaki's legs off her, which also made him fall off the couch. "Oops my bad. Hope you dont mind." she said looking over at him. A small grin played on her lips as she skipped into his room.
Mika walked over to the window and looked out. She rested her chin on her arms, letting the wind blow into the room, messing with her hair.

"Where'd she go?"
"What did you DO to that girl!?"
"Where." Misaki narrowed his eyes. They all pointed.
Misaki continued to walk. Looking in the direction, she was probably going back to her house. Misaki remembered her showing him once before. He thought about it for a second, then sighed. He remembered the general area, but that as it.
Starting there, he began to run. As he slowed to a stop, he looked at the few houses around. Which one was Mika? Unlike Misaki's house, Mika's house wasn't part of a complex. No one could see her, so he couldn't ask. He sighed.
*snap*
Misaki turned around sharply, catching... the two boys that were harassing Mika earlier? Had they been here?
"Which house is hers?" He asked firmly. The boys trembled. One of them pointed.
Well that certainly was convienient.
"Thank you." Misaki said before running to it.
"And you said no erasers would be here..." One of them mumbled to the other.
Misaki reached the front door, and walked over to window. He looked inside, and sure enough, there was Mika, sitting on her bed quietly. He sat down under the window, wanting her give her a little time to cool off. But his guilt began to eat away at him. Damn it, how come whenever SHE has fun its adorable, but when I do I just get bitched at?
He stood back up and went to the front door. He tried the knob but it was locked. Tsk... typical.
Misaki pulled out a knife. In ten seconds the door was open, not even a scratch on it. He walked in slowly, finding her bedroom and not making a sound. He was good at that. He sat down on the bed, scooping Mika up and hugging her tightly. "I'm sorry." He whispered. "I won't do it again."

Mika wasnt surprised as someone pulled her into a hug. Misaki was always doing that. She looked up at him, the hood covering half her eyes. "And what will you do if I dont forgive you?" she asked tilting her head to the side. "And how the hell did you find my house? I locked it too..." she growled wacking him on the head. "Well whatever. I'm glad you came. I was getting lonely.." she said with a small smile before wrapping her arms around him. "I dont know why... but I need you somewhere close by me." she mumbled quietly. "I wish you were there before I died." she muttered to herself.

Misaki listened to Mika mumbling to herself. He sighed and tightened his hug a little. "It might have something to do with us being partners..." He mumbled softly, "But... hmm." He started to think to himself. Why? Whatever. Who cared. As long as they weren't separated, it didn't matter.
"And we are back to square one." Misaki said, completely ignoring her question about getting into the house. Or finding it for that matter. "Now we have nothing to do again."
He stood up, picking her up and setting her down. "What do you want to do?"
He pulled out a knife from the pouch and twisting it in his hands, waiting for her to answer.

Misaki was the best. He found the bugs silent in one direction.
"You can run... you can hide... but I WILL find you..." Misaki mumbled with an evil smirk. He tore off in that direction, his hair blowing back he was going so fast.

...
Damn, now where'd she go?
He'd lost the trail. If he didn't pick it up, he'd lose. And he'd be damned if he lost to Mika. Again. He took out a knife and threw it in there air.In flew unpward and landed point first onto the sidewalk. It stayedlike that for a second before falling on its side. The handel pointed. Misaki picked the knife up, and began to walk in that direction.
