Setting
Suddenly, a notification sounded, and Asher's PM window popped up.

Asher! There's a boss raging through Ensguard! Someone must've agroo'ed a field boss and drew it here. Either that, or a GM spawned it in town! Hurry!
Asher sighed. "Here we go again... That's like, what, the third time this week? In-game time?" Yes, GM's are temporarily able to spawn bosses and monsters within the safe havens of a town. It is part of the annual event Sudden Strike. Asher got out one of his teleport crystals. A window popped up, asking where he wanted to go. Asher put in Ensguard as the destination, and he disappeared into pixels.
However, when he reappeared, it wasn't ensguard. Suddenly, his virtual body became more... realistic. "What the...?" Asher examined himself and his surroundings. This appears too real to be apart of a game... Asher thought. No virtual MMO has the ability to look like this...
Sudddenly, a bear roared from behind him. Asher reacted quick and rolled to the side, narrowly dodging it's claw. "Tempest!" Asher shouted. He jumped into the air and did a front flip, slashing the bear multiple tiems. However, the bear didn't disappear once defeated. It's corpse stayed there, on the ground. Blood stained the blade of Asher's sword. Asher looked at his sword, then at the rotting corpse, then his sword again. Confusion clouded his mind as he tried to think what'e happening. All he knew is that this isn't a game anymore.
The inventory still contains health potions and equipments. It seemed that reviving items are of no use, and mana potions can't do a thing to him anymore. All of his clothes are also able rip and tear, but not so easily since the equipnent was very durable.
Asher sighed. Yeah. Not a game anymore.... That's when he heard someone say "Ice Sword!". His main reaction was to turn and face the person who yelled out the skill with his sword drawn and skills ready, but this is probably real life. Blade Slizer's allies and enemies can determine his survival in this realistic world. Then again, this probably is an enemy. Just to be sure, Asher drew his sword from his sheathe anyway and pointed at the direction os the yell. "Who's there?" Asher shouted. "Show yourself."
