| Full Name |
Francesca Lorena Brivio-Del Rey

| Nickname |
Francesca isn’t fond of her name, but she doesn’t hate it either. She goes by Frankie nine times out of ten and that’s that nickname she likes best. She hates Fran and if you call her that, you obviously have a death wish. Her mother has always called her Franny, despite the fact that she hates that nickname, her mother refuses to call her Frankie, she says it's not a proper name for a young women, it's a boys name. At least that's what her mother thinks. Sometimes she goes by Chesca, but that’s rare, it's what her biological father calls her. What most people don't know is that she actually quite likes her middle name and that's probably because her mother despises it because her father picked it, but sometimes she'll go by Rena, Benji is among the few people who calls her that.

| Age |
Twenty

| Gender |
Female

| Role |
Girl One

❝The Beautiful Façade❞

| Eye color |
Frankie definitely got her eyes from her mother. Her eyes are the first thing people notice about her. They are a bright shade of gray blue. They tend to honestly change color depending on her mood when she’d happy, they tend to stay the brighter blue. Though when she’s sad or upset they tend to become grayer. It’s quite interesting actually.

| Hair Color |
She absolutely adores her hair, she’s dies it often. Her natural hair color is a chestnut brown much like her mother, but she dies it blonde, despite her mother’s constant comments. Frankie thinks she looks better as a blonde. When she was a little girl her mother only let her hair grow a certain and she’s keep it that length, so it was easy to put up when she was practicing and competing. But now that Frankie is older she’s let her hair grow out and it touches her lower back only a few inches short of her hips and she won’t let anyone near it.

| Skin Tone |
Fanny’s biological father is full blooded Italian, there for she’s got a smooth, natural bronzed completion. Her skin tends to get a little darker in the summer, but it stays the same color most of the time.

| Height & Weight |
It’s not hard to see she’s got a dancer’s body. She’s been dancing non-stop since she was a little girl. She stands at five-foot five and is very thinned, but also toned perfectly. She’s fairly healthy despite the fact she’s underweight and only weighs one hundred and fifteen pounds.

| Distinct Markings |
-She has no piercings, not even her ears, because her mother would never allow it. She really wants her belly button and ears pierced; eventually she’ll get it done.
-As far as tattoos, she got one as soon as she was eighteen. Her mother was furious, but she didn’t care. Since then she’s gotten two more, making her tattoo count a total of three.
On her right foot
on her middle finger, Benji and her both got theme for her nineteenth birthday.
on her left wrist.

❝Sorry, but I don't exactly have time to fill you in.❞

⚓ Never getting to travel the world like she wants to. As long as she can remember, all Frankie has ever wanted to do was travel the world with someone she loves. New York is great, if your a tourist. Growing up there doesn't exactly make you love it and all though her families filthy rich, she's never actually experienced life.

⚓ Never falling in love. She knows love is not like the movies, but she also knows she's not in love with Max and she knows being with him, she'll never get to experience half the things she wants. Marrying Max means giving up her dreams and doing exactly what her mother wants.

⚓Never truly living. Most people think because Frankie is rich and she can dance, she's experience a lot. But the truth is her entire life has been planned for her. She never has time for anything but dance and walking on egg shells around her up tight mother. All she wants to do is let her hair down and live life to the fullest, but she knows that's never going to happen, because of who she's marrying.

❝You are what you love, not who loves you. ❞

Image
| Personality |
The first thing you’ll notice about Francesca when you meet her is her confidence. She’s one of the most confident girl’s you’ll ever meet. She’s always smiling and her smile is definitely contagious. She’s the type of girl that captures everyone’s attention the second she walks into the room, she’s always glowing. People have always been drawn to her and her sister, not only because they are beautiful, but because they tend to just have an aura about them that people can’t stay away from.

Frankie is used to being the center of attention and so she has a bit of a big head, mostly because she’s been doted on her entire life. She’s use to getting what she wants with a simple bat of her long eye lashes and a pout of her bottom lip. When she doesn’t get her way she can become a colossal bitch. She’s the queen of sarcasm and loves being a sarcastic bitch all of the time.

The truth is as much as Franny doesn’t want to admit it, she’s a rich, spoiled daddy’s girl. Her step father has always given her what she wanted and her biological father spoils her to no end. So the word no isn’t something she likes to hear, in fact it’s not really in her vocabulary.

There are two very different sides to Frankie. The first side that everyone sees is that of the spoiled, bitchy ballet princess, who’s never had to lift a finger. She can turn up the charm and win over pretty much anyone. To her mother’s friends, she’s the definition of a perfect daughter. Well-behaved and always very polite.

Though there is a completely different side to Rena, that few have seen. She loves dancing and it’s her life, but sometimes she needs to cut loose. She loves being spontaneous, skinny dipping in the ocean at two o’clock in the morning or getting drunk and laying under the stars are two of her favorite things in the world. Benji probably knows her better than anyone, he knows that that the spoiled brat she pretends to be isn’t really her.

There is so much more to Franny. She wants to live, she wants to travel the world. Do things without worrying about the consequences. She wants to dance in the rain, without her mother yelling at her. She wants to live as if she was going to die tomorrow. She wants something unstable and unpredictable; she wants the excitement of the unknown. She’s got a big heart and she’s actually quite a sweet girl once you get to know her.

When it comes to dancing, she turns into a completely different person. It’s a passion for her and it’s not just a hobby it’s her life. When she dances she feels free. When she’s dancing with Benji, most people are completely amazed that there aren’t actually dating, because the two of them practically look like their making love on the stage.

When it comes to Max, he controls Frankie and holds her down. If she’s not at the studio, he keeps tabs on her twenty four seven. He’s addicted to cocaine and he drinks more then he should and he can get pretty violent. But, Frankie fights back, she doesn’t just roll over and take it. She’s not afraid to fight him.

❝Everyone's got their own story, mines nothing special.❞

Anthony Brivio||Biological Father||Alive
Victoria Del Rey||Mother||Alive
William Del Rey||Her Step-father||Alive
Rianne Del Rey||Her Half-sister||Alive

Francesca was born to Anthony and Victoria Brivio. Her father a fairly well-known Italian documentarist, whom happened to be shooting a documentary on dancers. Back then her mother Victoria was studying dance for a summer in Italy and a year later her mother and father were married and expecting their first child. When Franny was born, her mother moved back to the US and her father followed shortly after. Her father helped her mother open a dance studio, because it was her dream.

Because Frankie’s father had to go back and forth between the US and Italy, her mother started seeing another man. Eventually she become pregnant and it was then that her mother filed for divorce and completely crushing her father. The divorce was ugly and eventually, because the divorce had taken place in the US, Victoria was granted full custody or Francesca. Her mother was cruel and didn’t want Anthony having any communication with Frankie and so eventually, her father moved back to Italy.

The dance studio the her father had helped her mother open had gotten so big, her mother had to move to a bigger building in the wealthy part of New York. The Del Rey family became very prominent among the New York A-listers. Her step father was a big business man and her mother was a well-known dance instructor.

Frankie grew up extremely close to her little sister, being only two years apart, they did practically everything together. Their mother even dressed them alike for some time. Dancing became a way of life for Franny and just like their mother, Frankie and Ryan were naturals. Chesca meet Benji Person when she was seven and they started dancing together and they had such a natural chemistry that her mother and his mother were absolutely amazed.

Benji became like a brother to both Frankie and Ryan. It wasn’t until Frankie was thirteen when her mother finally started letting her get in contact with her father. Benji and Franny were inseparable in high school. She was the Queen bee, much like Ri is now and Benji was the King. Benji and Frankie were living proof that girls and boys could be just friends.

When Francesca was eighteen, her mother introduced her to Max Vanderbilt. New York’s hottest bachelor and a member of the prominent Vanderbilt family. Max was her step-fathers protĂ©gĂ© and despite the fact that Max was a bit too old for her, both Max’s mother and her mother, pushed the two to be together. Max recently purposed to Frankie six months ago on her twentieth birthday and she really had no choice but to say yes. She likes Max, but his addiction to drugs and violent out bursts aren’t exactly contusive to a happy marriage, but her mom wants her mom gets and her mom wants Frankie to take the Vanderbilt name.

Unwritten
- By Natasha Bedingfield

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Oh, yeah, yeah
Love Somebody
- By Maroon 5
I know your insides are feeling so hollow
And it's a hard pill for you to swallow, yeah
But if I fall for you, I'll never recover
If I fall for you, I'll never be the same

I really wanna love somebody
I really wanna dance the night away
I know we're only half way there
But you can take me all the way, you can take me all the way
I really wanna touch somebody
I'll think about you every single day
I know we're only half way there
But you can take me all the way, you can take me all the way

You're such a hard act for me to follow
Love me today, don't leave me tomorrow, yeah
But if I fall for you, I'll never recover
If I fall for you, I'll never be the same

I really wanna love somebody
I really wanna dance the night away
I know we're only half way there
But you can take me all the way, you can take me all the way
I really wanna touch somebody
I'll think about you every single day
I know we're only half way there
But you can take me all the way, you can take me all the way
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

I don't know where to start, I'm just a little lost
I wanna feel like we never gonna ever stop
I don't know what to do, I'm right in front of you
Asking you to stay, you should stay, stay with me tonight, yeah

I really wanna love somebody
I really wanna dance the night away
I know we're only half way there
But you can take me all the way, you can take me all the way
I really wanna touch somebody
I'll think about you every single day
I know we're only half way there

For the first time since her and Max had started dating, he was back to himself and she found herself quickly forgetting, why she hated him in the first place. More and More people will starting to show up now as the two of them walked around arm and arm, socializing with everyone like they were supposed to.

“She means the world to me.” He said sincerely as he spoke with a few of his co-workers and everyone including Frankie was eating up his words.

He was being honest and sweet. He placed his arm around her waist gently pulling her closer as he kissed the top of her head. He grabbed a glass of champagne passing it to her, before grabbing one for himself, from a passing waiter. She took a sip of hers as she lend in pressing his lips to her cheek gently and it set her body on fire, she sighed softly enjoying the moment, because for once she didn’t have to pretend and for the first time in a week, her mind was off of Mark and she was back to being herself.

“I love you, baby.” He whispered, causing her to shiver because she couldn’t remember a time he’d be so completely honest saying those words to her. She glanced up to him, to see if it was real, if the honesty was in his eyes and she hated that when she found herself looking into his eyes, it was there he really did love her.

“I love you too.” She said back and this time it wasn’t forced. She lend up kissing his lips, before he pulled away and led her to the table reserved for them to grant them a bit of privacy.

Her eyes fell on Ryan and Jason in the corner and she smiled grateful her sister had finally given in and ended up coming. Max sat down pulling her into his lap, grabbing her jaw gently, until he was holding her eyes. He pressed his lips to her softly and she lend into the kiss as he pulled her tightly against him, it didn’t matter that more people were starting to show up and she could feel eyes on them. It felt good for once not to have to pretend.

He pulled away drinking her in and it felt good, that for once her fiancĂ© finally wanted her, but a part of her couldn’t help but wonder if he only wanted her, because he felt like he was losing her. But, she pushed that thought away when he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box.

“I got you something, I was going to wait to give it to you to the wedding.” He smirked and she matched his smirk holding his eyes. She watched as he opened the box reveling a ring she’d seen hundred times before on his mother’s finger. It was an antique, a family heirloom that had been passed down, it was honestly breath taking.

“Max, I can’t accept
” she started but he cut her off by kissing.

“You’re a Vanderbilt, Frankie.” not yet she thought to herself. “And, I’m the oldest, it’s yours babe.” He smirked, kissing her again and she was still in shock, his mother would brag all the time how it was worth millions. “Like I said in the car, I know I don’t deserve you and hitting you, fuck I don’t know why I do it.” He said looking away from her and she couldn’t help but suddenly feel guilty for cheating. “I guess it just makes me feel better about myself, to make you feel like shit.” He admitted and she sighed. “But, Francesca, I fell in love with you the moment I saw you.”

She wanted him to stop, because he was making her fall in love with him all over again and h was making her feel like shit for cheating. She looked away from him for a moment, to see that the party had filled up quite a bit and music had started playing,
music, no doubt her mother had picked out.

“I’ll tell you what.” She smirked, glancing back to him. “Dance with me and I’ll forgive for everything.” She smiled softly honestly making an effort for once.

“Deal.” He said taking her hand and slipping the ring on her finger, before they stood up together and he led her to the dance floor where a few other were already dancing. He wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled her close, kissing the top of his head. And it was the weirdest feeling in the world, that for once everything was actually perfect.

Her eyes wondered the party as she laid her head on his chest and she wonder where the hell, Benji was, he’d have a heart attack if he could see Frankie and Max. When her eyes finally feel on Benji, her heart stopped and her stomach dropped when she saw who was standing next to him.

Spencer was really starting to freak out. He wasn’t meant to be a rich kid or even pretend to be one. It was bad enough he was dressed like one, now he was letting some girl he’d been fucking for the past week drag him into one of their swanky, soirees. Benji and Mark for some reason had stayed behind and Karin had forced him to follow her.

He could hear mellow, slow music coming from inside the room, he assumed they were supposed to go in as well as a soft swarm of chatter and he paused outside the door ripping his arm away from Karin’s grip. He shouldn’t be here, Rianne had been fine without him before, she’d be fine without him now, Besides if she really wanted to see him again, she knew where to find him, he was almost always at the club and she knew where it was now. He should be waiting for her to come after him, not chasing after her.

Had he completely lost his mind, chasing after some girl he barely knew and had only spent two days with him. No, hell no. he finally decided. Pulling his phone out and getting ready to call Tyler to come pick him up, when Karin snatched his phone.

“What do you think your doing?” she squealed in a low voice, like she already knew what he was doing. “You’re not going to pussy out on me now Spence.” she smirked and he clenched his jaw.

“What the did I tell you, don’t call me that.” He spat “And, I swear to God, if you don’t’ give me back my phone I’ll punch you in your fucking face.” He said harshly, to which Karin just rolled her eyes and smirked.

“Oh please, you like fucking me too much.” She shrugged tossing it back to him as he glared at her. “Fine, leave, but I’ll be sure to tell Ria, where you’ve been all week.” She smirked.

“Fuck.” He breathed running his hands through his hair. “Fine.” He sighed as she locked her arm with him and they headed into the ball room, where the party was being held and he was surprised when no one stopped to look at him, but he assumed it was because Karin was hanging off his arm and he was dressed for the part of a pompous, ass hole.

He immediately started looking for Ryan and forgot completely, that he was there with Karin. When he finally saw her, she was in the corner of the room, with Jason and she looked happy, which both irritated him and proved Karin right. He felt stupid thinking he actually had a chance with her, she was way too good for him. He sighed, wanting to turn around and walk out suddenly not caring if Karin told her.

“What fuck?” he heard, which pulled his attention away from Ryan and to a girl who he recognized instantly. “Spinner, what the fuck are you doing her?” Royce smirked walking over to him and laughing as soon as she realized what he was wearing.

“Same thing you’re doing here, trailer park princess.” He smirked wickedly “Crashing a rich kids party.” He shrugged and she laughed. Royce was just like him, they came from the same neck of the woods, until Jimmy had started dating her and had turned her from a trailer park junkie, to a posh princess.

As Ryan glanced around the party, she found that it was suddenly a lot more crowded than it had been before, and she felt claustrophobic. If anything could make her feel trapped and suffocated, it was one of her mother's stupid parties where she had to dress like a million bucks and act like she, her life, and her relationship were all perfect. It made her crazy to see so many rich assholes in one room and to know that that was her life. Eventually, she'd end up just like them, married to someone she didn't love, spending money to try and buy approval from the people around her because of the lack of love in her life until the day she died.

She wanted nothing more than to leave, but Jason wanted her to stick it out for just a bit longer, so she would. Not only for him, but for the hope that maybe her father would show up late. If he came, she didn't want to miss him. So she stayed, and her eyes scanned over the faces of people she knew, and people she didn't, going between watching the party while Jace held her, and watching her sister dance with Max like they were in love.

Then her eyes landed on Karin. "Holy fuck." She breathed and Jace felt her tense in his arms and followed her gaze to where Karin was standing with Spencer, talking to the girl she'd met at the club who's name she couldn't remember. Jace's arms tightened around her, and she knew if she was looking at him, his jaw would probably be tensed, but she wasn't looking at him. She couldn't take her eyes off Karin and Spencer. Why was he there? And with her? Were they fucking? That thought stung so bad, she finally managed to tear her eyes off him.

"Baby, I told you he was an asshole. And Karin's a bitch, at that." Jace said, trying to soothe her, but it wasn't working.

Karin was a bitch, and a slut, and loved drugs and parties a little too much, and she was totally crazy, and not the smartest girl in the world, but she was her friend. She'd been the one to tell her about Jace and Cleo, and she'd known her ever since she could remember. Even when they were little, Ry had always had to look after her to make sure she didn't get herself into too much trouble, and, in turn, Karin was always trying to get Ry into trouble.

Would she really fuck Spencer?

Did she even have a right to be mad at her if she did? Ria sighed. Probably not. She'd only known Spencer for two days, and didn't even know his last name, and yet, somehow, it still stung to think the two of them were together. "Fuck. Jason. I don't want to be here." She breathed and Jason pulled her close and wrapped his arms around her.

"We have to be, because your sister wants you here. Just a little longer babe. Try to avoid him." He told her.

"Yeah, I can avoid him, that would be easy, if he wasn't here with Karin!" She said, starting to panic. "How the hell am I supposed to avoid her all night?" She shook her head.

"I don't know, but try." He said, kissing the top of her head before pulling away. "You need a drink. I'll be right back." He said and started to leave, but she grabbed the sleeve of his jacket.

"Don't leave me alone. Besides, you said you wouldn't drink." She said, looking at him and he smirked and sighed, kissing her forehead before pulling away again.

"It'll literally only be a second, and I'll only get myself a soda." He smirked before leaving her alone and she glanced around, debating on whether or not she should just leave. Because Karin would want to talk to her. There was no way she could avoid her all night. So, deciding Jace would get over it, she started to push her way through the party, wanting out of there as fast as she could, otherwise she'd fuck things up for Frankie and her mother. She'd end up making some sort of big scene, screwing things like she always did, and her mother would hate her, and Frankie would be pissed. It was a lot easier for all of them if she just stayed out of the way anyway.

So she pushed through people, heading for the back door of the place, knowing she couldn't leave entirely because Jace had driven her, so figuring she could at least use some air.

Once outside, on the patio overlooking an expansive garden, Ryan felt a little better, breathing in the night air with a deep sigh as she leaned against the wall next to the door and pulled a pack of cigarettes out of her purse, lighting one. Maybe she'd just hide out there all night until everyone was gone and she could catch a taxi back.

Mark couldn't find Frankie and it was irritating him because he was a little on edge just from being there, then there was the fact that he was pretending to be something he wasn't to make his uncle happy, on top of the fact that the party was an engagement party of, not just anyone, but a girl he couldn't get off his mind and a raging asshole. So, in the end, he just was not in a good mood. At all.

He followed Benji and tried to be polite, not liking the fact that he had to follow his cousin around, but it beat the alternatives of walking around on his own, or following Karin, or even their parents around, so he just stayed close to Benji. When a slow song started to play, he glanced towards the dancefloor, and that's when he finally saw her and his irritation peaked.

She was dancing with Max, looking like she really loved him, and it pissed him off and stung at the same time. What was he doing there? Really, what exactly was he expecting? That she'd dump her fiance for him at her own engagement party with hundreds of her closest friends and family watching? It was ridiculous, and he should have thought about it more. Because now, he was stuck there, watching her be all in love with an asshole for the rest of the night.

Her eyes landed on him not a minute after he'd spotted her, and he smirked at her and waved like they were old friends before grabbing a glass of champagne from a passing waiter and slipping away from Benji, walking past people to get to a door. The country club was enormous. So he pushed the door open and slipped into an empty room, away from the bustle of the party, and the sight of Frankie, dancing with Max.

He sighed and took a drink from his glass, looking around the room tiredly, before sitting in one of the chairs, debating on leaving.

They locked eyes for a second before the irritated look on his face seemed to fade quickly into a smirk that to her seemed arrogant, matched with a wave like they were nothing more than friends and that set her off. It drove her crazy, that he was so arrogant and calm. What was he doing there? Didn’t she make it clear, her life was already set in stone? What the hell was he planning on doing crashing her engagement party? Aside from fight with Max, Frankie had a lot of patients. It took a lot to set her off, but for some reason Mark had been able to piss her off with in seconds. She watched as he left the room, letting out a frustrated sigh.

“Arrogant, son of a bitch.” Frankie breath, Max lifte her chin forcing her to look at him.

“Babe, I thought you said a dance and I was forgiven.” He smirked obviously teasing her, but that comment just fueled the fire. She scoffed shaking her head as she shoved him away.

“I’m not taking about you Max.” she spat. “Fuck off.” She knew it was harsh and it would piss him off and she was already causing a scene. She was one comment away from turning into Bridezilla.

Her rage was aimed towards Benji, now that Mark had disappeared. They’d made it obvious, that they knew each other at Karin’s party last week. Frankie knew Benji her whole life, she even knew his extended family and friends never once had she met Mark. So who the hell was he?

She grabbed Benji’s arm giving a bitchy apology to the person he was talking to before dragging him from the room. Thankful Max hadn’t followed after her, because she really wasn’t in the mood to start another violent fight with him. She finally released Benji, in the empty hallway, where Mark had disappeared, yet he was nowhere around.

“Are you trying to ruin my life!” she whisper yelled and Benji looked at her utterly confused. “What the hell were you thinking Benji, this is probably the stupidest thing you’ve ever done.” She said harshly.

“Wow. You haven’t been this big of a bitch since we lost nationals.” He smirked. “You wanna take it down a notch Princess and explain why the fuck your actin like such a bitch.” She spat back.

“I’ll give you a hint, Mark.” She said sarcastically, crossing her arms in front of her. “Get him out of here and you can go with him.” Benji was in shock at how awful she was being to him. But she knew that if she actually saw Mark and he got her alone he’d have her again and she couldn’t afford to let that happen again.

It was silent for a long moment and Benji looked seriously upset with her. “Yeah, fine whatever.” He finally said looking up at her and she could see the hurt in his eyes and it killed her. “Sometimes I wonder why were friends Frankie.” That stung, but she pretended it didn’t hurt and she simply scoffed. “Fucking stand up for yourself and stop letting people walk all over you
it’s obvious you’re not happy with Max and everyone can see it. You’re in love with my cousin.” She closed her eyes, suddenly connecting the dots.

“I’m not in love with him, I don’t even know him.” She defended herself but even she could hear how weak her voice sounded and she hated it, she wasn’t going to believe she was in love with someone she’d just meet, that wasn’t realistic and it only happened in the stupid movies.

“Yeah, well I’m glad you can lie to yourself. I saw you together once and I caught on. I can see right through you Francesca.” He said simply as he turned away from her heading back to the party. But he paused turning back to her “Maybe if you stopped faking everything in your life and pretending you fucked up like is so perfect, people would like you more.” With that he left her their alone in the hall and his words hurt her so bad, she just wanted to cruel up in a ball and die.

“Fuck you.” She tried calling after him, but it was weak and he was already back in the party. She lend against the wall, heavily for support trying her best not to completely break down, realizing for the first time, the door in front of her was cracked open and she prayed there was no one in there.

Spencer’s eyes immediately flicked to Ryan as he watched her disappear out the door and he couldn’t help but catch the look on her face. Who was he kidding it was fairly obvious him and Karin had hook up. She was hanging on to him, like they were actually dating and he’d come to the party with her. He mentally kicked himself. He’d spent a total of forty-eight hours with her and he’d already fucked everything up. Whatever sliver of chance he might have had, was shot to hell when he’d decided to come to this stupid Party with Karin.

“Spinner? Hello, Spencer?” Royce’s voice pulled him from his thoughts. “You alright love?” she asked and he sighed. “Your girlfriend’s kind of a hussy.” She smirked and Spencer glanced around quickly looking for Karin, who’d moved on from him and was no all over some other guy.

“She’s not my girlfriend.” Sigh sighed. “Do me a favor if she comes back asking for me, tell her I went home.” He said and Royce looked confused, but nodded. He lend in close, with a smirk. “By the way, those ripped up shorts and cut off shirts, looked better on you then this fancy dress.” He said kissing her cheek.

Before walking past her. Royce was more like a sister to him, in fact she reminded him a lot of his little sister, Lennox. That was probably the reason he treated her better than most girls he knew and he’d never once tried to hook up with her. He walked across the ball room, that was so elegantly decorated it made him want to puke. He was able to avoid Jason and slip out the same door Ryan had without being seen.

He paused as he looked around the dark corridor, the muffled music coming from the other side of the door and finally through a window, he saw he, lead against the railing, smoking a cigarette and looking utterly miserable. Yet despite how miserable she looked, she was still incredibly beautiful. He smirked as he slipped out the door and on to the patio with her. He was sure she’d heard him come out the door, but it stayed silent, before he finally walked up next to her, pulling out his own cigarette and lighting it taking a long drag off of it.

“My real name is Spencer, Huntington.” he finally said. “Spinner is just a street name I give most girls.” He shrugged and he kept his eyes focused on the golf course. “I’m an ass hole
a junkie...I slept with your best friend
and I hate my fucking life.” He smirked as he took another drag, he figured even if she hated him, he'd rather tell her the truth, then lie to her, because as much as he didn't want to admit it he was falling for her. “But I hate you even more.” He said honestly. “Because I can’t get you off my fucking mind.” It was weird actually telling the truth for once, yet in the same sense it felt really good. He still kept his eyes fixed on the golf course, because he knew if he looked at her, he’d want to kiss her and he wasn’t sure he could handle it if she rejected him.

Ryan stayed out there for a while, smoking in silence, trying to make herself calm down so she didn't have a break down in the middle of Frankie's party and ruin everything. She heard the door open and close behind her, but didn't turn to see who it was. She didn't want Jason's clingy touching and annoying words that were meant to make her feel better but only made her feel small and that much more trapped, she didn't want to see Karin, because she'd probably beat the shit out of her, she didn't want to see her mother, because she never wanted to see her mother, she didn't want to see Frankie, because she'd only end up taking out all her frustrations and worries out on her and ruin probably the only positive relationship in her life, and the last person she wanted to see was Spencer. Because she knew she had no right to be feeling the way she was about him, or about the fact that he was probably sleeping with Karin. She'd only known him for two days, and, if she lied to herself, she could pretend she'd only fucked him the first time because she was hurt by Jace, and the second because she was fucked up on drugs, so, as long as he stayed away from her, she might be able to make it through the night.

Only things never worked out that way for her, so she knew the last person she wanted to see was going to be the person who walked through the door, so, even before he came over and leaned next to her, lighting himself a cigarette, she knew it was him. Because that was just the way her life worked. She didn't look at him, but she didn't run away as he took a long drag off his cigarette. “My real name is Spencer, Huntington.” He said and she closed her eyes and turned her head away from him at the sound of his voice. Shit. He wasn't going to fight with her about the fact that she was with Jace again, or try to seduce her into sleeping with him again, or lie to her. He was going to be honest with her, and that was the one thing she couldn't handle. Because she couldn't lie to him and say she didn't want him if he was going to be honest with her. “Spinner is just a street name I give most girls.” He continued, and she still didn't look at him as he spoke, keeping her head turned to the side so she didn't have to see him.

“I’m an ass hole
a junkie... I slept with your best friend
And I hate my fucking life.” He went on and she scoffed and rolled her eyes, taking a drag from her cigarette. She wasn't sure why, but she hated hearing him tell her the truth. It almost stung more to hear him admit to sleeping with Karin than if he'd tried to lie to her. At least if he'd lied, she could get pissed and start screaming at him. “And I hate you even more.” He said and she listened, wanting to hear how he was going to justify that. “Because I can’t get you off my fucking mind.”

It was silent for a long time and Ryan closed her eyes. She didn't want to hear what he'd just told her. She didn't want him to tell her his full name, or that he couldn't stop thinking about her. She didn't want him to give her a reason to go back to him. He was making it impossibly hard for her to say the things she was going to have to say to get him to leave, because, if she was being honest with herself, she wanted him to stay. But he couldn't, and she couldn't be with him. Her mother wouldn't allow it, Jason would turn into a possessive psycho again, and he'd only end up hurting her in the long run because that's the kind of guy he was. In order to be with him, she'd have to fight really hard against a bunch of people she cared about, only to end up hurt and alone and she wasn't willing to do that to herself.

"Leave me alone Spencer." She finally managed to say, keeping her eyes forward, knowing that if she looked at him, she wouldn't be able to do it. "And leave Karin alone too." She shook her head and flicked her cigarette away. "You'll only hurt her, and I'll get stuck trying to fix her, so do me a favor and stay away from me, and the people I care about." She said bitterly, turning to leave him there, not wanting to get sucked back into him, but hesitating at the door. "It's not like we were going anywhere anyway." She whispered.

Mark hadn't closed the door all the way, so he heard when Frankie came out into the hall with Benji. “Are you trying to ruin my life!” she whispered angrily at him, and Mark raised his eyebrows and listened to their conversation, as Benji accused her of being in love with him and said some other fairly harsh things and she tried to defend herself, but he could tell it was weak. Eventually it fell silent, but he knew she was still out there. He'd only heard one set of retreating footsteps so he sighed and downed the rest of his champagne before opening the door and leaning in the doorway, looking her over.

Even upset, she was beautiful, and he hated that she was engaged. If she was single, it'd still be hard to be with her, but at least then he'd have a chance. If she had a boyfriend, he could probably manage to steal her away. But no. She had to be engaged. And not even newly engaged at that, and he knew as he stood there looking at her that he had no chance in ever being with her.

"For what it's worth, I haven't stopped thinking about you once this past week." He shrugged and sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "But I should probably leave. You seem pretty content to marry that guy, and I'm not going to get in your way if that's what you want." He said, but didn't move, just stayed there, looking at her. "Is that what you want Frankie?" He asked, keeping his eyes calmly on her, wanting to hear her say it. If she said yes, he'd turn and leave.

Even if it was a reluctant or fake yes, because that meant she may not want it, but she wasn't willing to do anything about it. And he knew she'd say yes, and he knew it'd hurt, but he couldn't be a part of her life if Max was too, so he'd just have to get over her. Part of him was hoping she'd say no, but he knew she wouldn't. She was born and raised to make others around her happy, and that's what she was doing. Making everyone but herself happy, and he didn't want to watch her do it.

Why was that just when everything had managed to balance out, even if it was just for a night she couldn’t have that. It was all falling apart around her. She could handle being fake, she could handle her mother, she could take Max beating the shit out of her, she deal with being unhappy with Max for the rest of her life to please her mother. What she couldn’t handle though was reality and losing control of her perfectly faked life.

"For what it's worth, I haven't stopped thinking about you once this past week." His voice was so familiar, like she’d know him her whole life and just his voice, made everything seem okay, but she couldn’t give into it as much as she wanted to.

She didn’t acknowledge him, she just kept her eyes fixed on the hard wood floor and bit her lip until she tasted blood, but when biting her lip had failed to keep her tears at bay, she finally allowed her tears to fall, despite herself and his presence.

"But I should probably leave. You seem pretty content to marry that guy, and I'm not going to get in your way if that's what you want." She wanted to tell him no, tell him to take her away, but she just stayed silent, eyes on the floor. "Is that what you want Frankie?"

She let silence fall between them and she wanted him to walk away, because if he did, then she could tell herself he didn’t care. That she was just another nameless girl, another notch in his bed post and if he did walk away she wouldn’t have the strength to stop him. If her mother could see her now, she’d kill her. Her mother had always taught her to keep it together, not let anyone see her falter. That’s why even when she was at her worst, she still smiled. But, for the first time in her life she just could do it.

If she was being honest with herself, she was scared to death. Twenty years old and getting married, if it was up to her mother or Max or even Max’s mother, she’d be pregnant with in the year. She was still a kid herself. Sure she lived in New York, but she’d never even been to a Broadway show, she’d been to the beach a total of three times, including the time she’d gone with Mark, there first night together. It was a miserably impossible thought to think she’d never had control of her own life.

But, despite how horrible her mother was, she loved her. She loved her step farther and there was a part of her that loved Max and she knew he had to love her, even if it was just a little. Yet she knew that there was so much more between her and Mark, if she had a choice, she’d choose Mark. Even if it meant that he’d break her heart in the end. So that answer to his question was no, it’s not what she wanted. But, Mark was one person and she was fighting a battle with her mother who would win even if she up and left with Mark, because she’d get her father involved and Francesca, could never say no to her father.

“Yeah. It’s what I want.” She finally said cutting through the silence, before forcing herself to look at him. “But, I want you so much more.” Her words were a weak whisper as she held his eyes. “You know as well as I do, no matter how hard we fight. We won’t win.” She said glancing down the hall to where her parties was, before glancing back to him. “You’re a beautiful, fucking memory.” She said closing her eyes. “But, that’s all you can ever be.”

"Leave me alone Spencer." she finally said and he just rolled his eyes. "And leave Karin alone too. You'll only hurt her, and I'll get stuck trying to fix her, so do me a favor and stay away from me, and the people I care about." he deserved everything she was saying and as much as he wanted to fight her he couldn’t.

She turned and walked away. He wanted to stop her and tell her she’d regret it, they both would if they didn’t try. But, what right did he have. She was right, all he was good for was drugs and breaking hearts, so what right did he have to ask her to give them a chance. He didn’t turn to look at her, he just continued to smoke, waiting to hear the door open, letting him know she was gone. It was silent for a moment as he took on last drag off his cigarette before flicking it away.

"It's not like we were going anywhere anyway." She whispered, hesitating and that was all he needed to push her and win her back was her hesitation. Because he hesitation meant that she really didn’t want to leave, so he took advantage of it.

He turned quickly grabbing her and pulling her close, holding her tightly against him, but lose enough that if she wanted to get away she could. He pressed his lips to her jawline, tracing in ever so softly, knowing it would drive her insane. He finally reached her lips but he didn’t kiss her. He rested his forehead against hers and let his lips linger in front of hers, teasingly.

“I don’t, were we?” he smirked holding her eyes. “Two days isn’t exactly long enough to tell if we were going anywhere.” He said honestly. “But, if you walk away.” He whispered, letting the words linger there for a moment before finishing. “Will never know will be?” he smirked wickedly taking a step away from her.

He turned away from her and used one hand on the railing to jump over it landing on the ground below. It wasn’t a huge drop. He stood back up looking up at her before glancing to the swimming pole and then back to her with a wicked smirk.

“I don’t know if we’re going anywhere babe?” he said calling back up to her. “I could love you for all I know.” He shrugged. “All I know right now, is I’ve never wanted to keep a girl around long enough to see where it would go.” He admitted “And I just have this crazy feeling we’d be fucking unstoppable.” He spreading his hand out wide. “It’s up to you Rianne are you going to start living or are you going to end up like your sister?” he smirked slipping his shirt off. "I wanna fuck shit up with you and I want to wake up next you." he laughed. "What do you say babe?"

Ryan knew she shouldn't have hesitated. She should have just left and gone back to Jason, but she hadn't. She'd been an idiot and showed him weakness, so he used it. He turned quickly and grabbed hold of her, pulling her close and holding her tightly. She probably could have gotten away if she wanted to and should have, the instant he'd grabbed her, but being close to him again made her falter just long enough for him to press his lips against her jaw, and then she absolutely couldn't move. She closed her eyes and tried her hardest to keep her breathing even and keep herself from moaning or leaning into him as he traced her jaw softly, slowly, making her crazy, moving towards her lips, making her want to kiss him more than anything.

But when he finally reached her lips, he didn't kiss her. He just rested his forehead against hers and let his lips linger, just a breath away from hers, irritatingly close. She had to physically clench her jaw to keep from reaching out and pulling his lips against hers because she couldn't show him she wanted him. She couldn't show him how insane he made her. If she did, he'd never leave her alone, and she'd get pulled right back into him, and her whole life would turn into a big, chaotic mess.

“I don’t know, were we?” He smirked irritatingly as he held her eyes, and she forced herself to concentrate on his words, not the fact that all she had to do was tilt her head and she'd be kissing him. “Two days isn’t exactly long enough to tell if we were going anywhere.” He said and Ryan closed her eyes. “But, if you walk away.” He whispered, and it was quiet for a second. She wanted him to stop. He was pulling her in, and she needed him to stop, but she couldn't make herself say the words, or break away from him. “We'll never know will we?” She opened her eyes and he stepped away from her, making her bite her lip as he jumped over the railing to the ground and, even though she should turn and leave right there, she walked slowly over to the railing and placed her hands on it, looking down at him.

“I don’t know if we’re going anywhere babe?” He said, and she watched him. “I could love you for all I know.” He shrugged. Of fuck, she did not need him telling her he might love her. “All I know right now, is I’ve never wanted to keep a girl around long enough to see where it would go. And I just have this crazy feeling we’d be fucking unstoppable.” You don't know my mom. Ryan thought and sighed, watching him spread his arms out. “It’s up to you Rianne are you going to start living or are you going to end up like your sister?” That struck her and she watched him slip his shirt off. He was right. If she kept going the way she was, she'd end up just like Frankie, and, as much as she loved her sister, that was the one thing she wanted to avoid most in the world. Her sister was a good person, and Ry looked up to her, always had her whole life, seeing as they had a horror show for a mother, but she let people walk all over her and tell her what to do all the time because she thought she was in too deep to fix anything, and that's why she was stuck marrying a man who beat the shit out of her. To be her sister, was the last thing she wanted. He could not have stuck her so hard with anything else.

"I wanna fuck shit up with you and I want to wake up next you." He laughed, pulling her from her thoughts. "What do you say babe?" Ryan closed her eyes and sighed deeply. She should hate him. She should be devastated and pissed about the fact that he'd slept with Karin. But, honestly, she'd never wanted anything more in her life.

"I fucking hate you." She spat, but even as she said it, she kicked out of her heels. "You're a horrible fucking influence, and the last fucking thing I need in my life." She spat and shook her head before leaning forward over the railing, smirking at him. "You're going to fuck me up, and my life." Ryan grinned and swung herself over the railing, landing in front of him and pulling her dress off, glancing behind him at the swimming pool with a smirk and then leaning forward, so her lips were inches from his. "I can tell you where we're going. We're going to go straight to hell." She said before pushing him back and running past him, towards the pool, knowing she was crazy. If her mother, or Jace, or Karin, or anyone so much as glanced out a window, she'd be dead, but, for once in her life, she didn't care.

It was a long time while she thought, and he was honestly surprised. She gave it more thought than he figured she would. He'd figured, she might be hesitant, but not that hesitant. “Yeah. It’s what I want.” She finally said, breaking the silence and he sighed deeply and shook his head, hating to hear that. “But, I want you so much more.” She went on, holding his eyes and he was surprised, having had figured she'd just say yes, she wanted Max, and then let him go on his way. “You know as well as I do, no matter how hard we fight. We won’t win.” She said and he rolled his eyes, not believing that for a minute. “You’re a beautiful, fucking memory. But, that’s all you can ever be.”

Mark shook his head. He'd told himself he'd just walk out if she said yes, no matter what kind of yes it was, but he couldn't. She was giving up way too easily. He moved quickly, grabbing hold of her and pulling her into the dark room behind him, closing the door swiftly and pinning her to it. "Why the fuck do you do that Frankie?" He asked, looking down at her, frustrated. He leaned down and kissed her hard on the lips before pulling away. "Why do you put what everyone else wants in front of what you want?" He shook his head and took a few steps back.

"You can't live your life to please other people Frankie. That's not living. Living is being happy with yourself." He looked her over. "Are you happy with yourself?" He shook his head and sighed, going on before she even had the chance to answer. "You can't let people walk all over you. If you want something, take it." He wanted to go on, but he knew he'd only cause her to shut down if he lectured her, any longer so he sighed and sat on the couch in the room, looking up at her. "I want you too." He whispered. "But I refuse to be the only one fighting." He shook his head, standing again and walking over to her, placing a hand on the side of her neck and rubbing her jaw with his thumb, looking down into her eyes. "Think for one second Frankie. What do you want? Don't think about what anyone else wants, only think about yourself." He held her eyes. "You deserve to have what you want. You deserve to be happy."

Walk away. Just walk away. She was telling herself to do it, but she could get her feet to move and so she hopped he’d be the one to walk away. But, he didn’t he grabbed her, pulling her into the room and pinning her against the wall in one swift motion that didn’t give her enough time to react.

"Why the fuck do you do that Frankie?" He asked, but she barely had time to process that words, before his lips came down on his and she was lost. She’d forgotten where she was and the fact that she was getting married all that mattered was him and the way he made her feel setting her etire body on fire.

"Why do you put what everyone else wants in front of what you want?" he pulled away, taking a few steps back a creating space between them as she came crashing back down to earth and back to reality. "You can't live your life to please other people Frankie. That's not living. Living is being happy with yourself." She hated the way he was looking at her and if it was Max or Benji, she’d fight back, but she couldn’t fight him. "Are you happy with yourself?"

She wasn’t happy with herself, she didn’t even know who she really was. She was her mother’s protĂ©gĂ©, she’d been shaped into exactly the person her mother wanted her to be. How could anyone be happy with that and she hated the fact that he could see her like she was transparent, despite the fact that it took everyone else years, to be able to read her.

"You can't let people walk all over you. If you want something, take it." he went on not giving her a moment to answer, but finally he stopped himself. She watched him sit down on the couch. "I want you too. But I refuse to be the only one fighting." he said, before standing again and she was utterly frozen, she couldn’t move even if she wanted to. He closed the space between them again as he placed a hand on her neck and the touch alone made her shiver. She closed her eyes as he thumb traced her jaw and she could feel his eyes on her.

"Think for one second Frankie. What do you want? Don't think about what anyone else wants, only think about yourself. You deserve to have what you want. You deserve to be happy." He said and sh knew with those words he was finished.

She let out a breath she’d been holding in before shoving him away and moving past him. He already had her, but she didn’t want to let him know that. He could have stopped at the kiss. She stood across the room from him.

“Mark
” she trailed off trying to make her words come out stronger. “You don’t understand. I’ve don’t know how to think for myself. I’ve had people tell me where to go, what to eat, and how to live my entire life. My mother is the female reincarnation of Hitler for God sakes.” She said shaking her head. “And you have no room, to lecture me about whether or not I’m happy with myself.” She said trying to turn the heat off of her.

“You can’t tell me getting drunk and high and breaking girl’s hearts makes you feel like a man.” She spat, she knew it was harsh. “Your no better than Max. Even if I left him, eventually you’d get tired of me.” She said trying to be realistic “What then? Then I’ve made a complete fool of myself when I have to go crawling back to Max
because you know that’s what’s going to happen.” She looked away from him letting the silence hang their. “I can’t just take a chance and you can’t promise me you’ll stick around.” She shrugged. “In the end what are we fighting for, because you’re just going to break my heart.” There was a pain in her voice, because either path she choice ended the same with a broken heart and a lot of misery.

Sure she could chose to run away with him and they might spend the next month or year happy. Then when he got tired of her or he lost control while he was drunk he’d hit her. Then they’d fight, he’d cheat, and then she’d wake up to any empty bed. He’d leave her with nothing but a handful of memories and a shattered heart. A least with Max, he couldn’t leave her because he had a reputation and a family name to up hold, so even if their marriage was shit, he wouldn’t leave her. And that’s what she’d convinced herself. She knew Mark would be mad and she hoped he’d get mad, maybe he’d even hit her and then she’d have an actual reason to pretend to hate him.

He could tell the comment about her sister had got to her. Spencer wasn’t stupid, despite whatever one thought, he caught on to things extremely quickly. He knew their mom was impossible and that’s why Ryan was so reluctant to stray and she thought she was stuck with Jason, because he was comfortable and she’d been with him for a while. He’d caught on to all that with in the two days he’d spent with her and the things Karin had been saying.

"I fucking hate you." her voice brought him from his thoughts and he glanced up seeing she was slipping out of her heels and he smirked. "You're a horrible fucking influence, and the last fucking thing I need in my life." he couldn’t help but laugh. Even if he only had her for that moment, he was happy and Spencer couldn’t remember a time he’d been honestly happy since the accident until he met her. "You're going to fuck me up, and my life." she said jumping down in front of him.

He watched as she slipped of her dress, raising a brow and smirking. It was weird, with her it wasn’t just about sex, like it was with other girls. She made him want to be a better person and she made him feel like he was worth something. He enjoyed her company and when she wasn’t around it drove him fuckin nuts to think she might be with Jason. She closed the space between them, her lips were so close he wanted to kiss her, but he fought the urge.

"I can tell you where we're going. We're going to go straight to hell." She said and he laughed as she pushed him away and headed towards the pool.

“As long as were going together.” He called after her, following after her quickly and catching her before she had the chance to jump, He spun her around. Pressing his lips to hers, hard, pulling her close and placing a hand on either side of her face. Finally he pulled away a wicked smirk on his lips. “Watch your step kitten.” He whispered, before pushing her in and jumping in jeans and all right after her.

“As long as were going together.” He called, running after her and she tried to leap in the pool, but he managed to catch her first, making her laugh as he spun her, but cutting her laugh off short as he pressed his lips against hers hard, a hand on either side of her face, and this time, she let herself lean into it, despite the fact that she knew it was wrong. Eventually, he pulled away from her and smirked and she smirked back. "What your step kitten." He whispered and before she even got a chance to figure out what the hell he meant by that, he'd shoved her in and jumped in after her.

Ryan gasped as she came back to the surface, because the water was freezing, but she didn't care. It felt good and woke her up. She waited until he came up as well before splashing water in his face. "Fuck you." She laughed and then kicked away from him, swimming towards the opposite end of the pool.

It was absolutely ridiculous. Inside were about a hundred million people who would probably drop dead if they saw what she was doing, but she didn't care. They could drink all the champagne they wanted and talk about their fancy cars, and huge homes, and perfect children, and empty, boring lives. She, for the moment, intended to actually live. Because talking about all the things in your life you're proud of, showing them off to other people, wasn't really living, and she never wanted to be that way, she'd just never known it until she'd met Spencer.

Ryan sighed and ducked under water, allowing the entire world to disappear for a second before coming back up and looking across the pool at him. "This is so bad." She smirked. "If my mother comes out, she'll probably die on sight."

Mark watched as she let out a breath and then shoved him away, moving to stand across the room so there was space between them. "Mark
” She trailed off and he just watched her. “You don’t understand. I’ve don’t know how to think for myself. I’ve had people tell me where to go, what to eat, and how to live my entire life. My mother is the female reincarnation of Hitler for God sakes. And you have no room, to lecture me about whether or not I’m happy with myself.” She said and her knew what she said next would probably sting, but he stayed quiet anyway.

“You can’t tell me getting drunk and high and breaking girl’s hearts makes you feel like a man. You're no better than Max. Even if I left him, eventually you’d get tired of me.” She said, and that only piss him off. Maybe she was right about the fact that he wasn't exactly happy with the way he was living, or that he might one day get tired of her, because she might end up getting tired of him too, but he wasn't her fiance. He didn't force a girl into doing something she didn't want, and he may hit a girl every now and then, but only if she could fight back. He didn't hit girls and taunt them and to make them obedient and controllable. “What then? Then I’ve made a complete fool of myself when I have to go crawling back to Max
because you know that’s what’s going to happen. I can’t just take a chance and you can’t promise me you’ll stick around.” She shrugged and he sighed. “In the end what are we fighting for, because you’re just going to break my heart.”

Mark looked her over for a second before sighing. "First of all, I'm not your fiance." He spat at her. "I'd never purposely make you feel like shit, Frankie or hit you just because you won't do what I want you to." He shook his head. "And you're right. I'm not happy with myself. Ever since I was a teenager, I've been running all over the world, trying to be happy with myself." He said, keeping his eyes on her. "But it's never really worked." He shrugged and took a few steps closer to her. "I can say though that, I've never been happier than I was the two days I've spent with you and I think you're what I've been looking for. I think you can make me happy."

He shook his head and took a few steps back from her again with a sigh, running his fingers through his hair. He wished she'd just come around. He wanted her more than anything, but she was too afraid. "I know you're afraid. I am too. I've never been this crazy about a girl in my life." He shrugged. "But I'm not going to make you do anything. It's your choice. Tell me to leave, and you'll never see me again."

"First of all, I'm not your fiance. I'd never purposely make you feel like shit, Frankie or hit you just because you won't do what I want you to." she sighed watching him and letting him speak. "And you're right. I'm not happy with myself. Ever since I was a teenager, I've been running all over the world, trying to be happy with myself." she wanted to stop him, because if she got to know him, she’d never want to go back to Max. But, she didn’t she let him go on. "But it's never really worked." she looked away when he stepped closer to her. "I can say though that, I've never been happier than I was the two days I've spent with you and I think you're what I've been looking for. I think you can make me happy."

She looked up at him when he said that, because she could hear it in his voice, he was feeling the same way as her. The honesty in his voice scared the shit out of her, she knew what kind of guy he was. You could tell by just looking at him, so for him to admit what he just had, had to be sincere.

"I know you're afraid. I am too. I've never been this crazy about a girl in my life." his voice pulled her from her thoughts."But I'm not going to make you do anything. It's your choice. Tell me to leave, and you'll never see me again."

She let it fall silent, with only the muffled sound of the music from the party. She had to make up her mind, she was torn. Every ounce of her wanted to be with Mark, but could they really make it work? She’d never wanted anything more in her entire life. She knew she was stupid and that eventually her mother would find her and find a way to drag her home. The worst part about it was, Max wouldn’t move on. Frankie was a possession to him, she was his as far as he was concerned and so if she did leave with Mark, he beat her just short of killing her when he finally found her.

“I’m fucking crazy.” She breathed “This all your fault and when my mother finds us your taking the blame.” She smirked. “We can’t stay in New York, so you better start figuring out a plan, because were leaving tonight.” She said and she honestly couldn’t believe herself, she should have just went back to the party.

The water was freezing, but it felt incredibly good. He came up close to her and smirked "Fuck you." she laughed and he knew her laugh would haunt him when she left and he hated her that much more. She was addicting, more addicting then any drug he’d ever taken.

He watched as she swam to the other side of the pool. He swam to the side lifting himself out effortlessly and sitting on the edge, letting his feet stay in the water as he watched her duck under the water. He lend back on his hands waiting for her to come back up.

"This is so bad." she smirked and he knit his eyebrows "If my mother comes out, she'll probably die on sight." he smirked at that.

“Why is it bad Ryan?” he asked, sitting back up. “Because all those ass whole in there think it’s bad.” He gestured back to the party. “What do you think?” he asked her.

“Why is it bad Ryan?” He asked and she watched him, sitting on the side of the pool. “Because all those ass whole in there think it’s bad.” He gestured at the party and she sighed and looked at the water. “What do you think?” He asked her.

Ri looked back up at him when he asked her that and smirked, swimming over and pulling herself out of the water to sit next to him. She kicked her legs in the water slowly and rested her head on his shoulder as she thought about her answer to that question. Why was it so hard to think for herself without thinking of what her mother or sister or Jason would think? "No one ever really asks me what I think." She finally said. "They just kind of tell me to do stuff and expect me to do it."

She smirked and pulled her legs out of the water and her head off his shoulder, moving so she was in his lap, straddling him, hands on his shoulders. "I guess I think this feels pretty good." She shrugged and leaned forward, pressing her forehead against his, holding his eyes for a second before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing his lips, moaning into it because it felt so incredible to kiss him.

It was quiet for a long time, and he knew what she was going to say. She was going to take the easy way out and just marry Max. Because marrying Max, there was no risk. And he could honestly see why she would do it. He didn't deserve a girl like her, and he'd only hurt her much worse than anything Max could do to her. So he couldn't be mad at her, and he couldn't force her, though it would hurt like hell to just let her go. And that freaked him out. Because he wasn't used to depending on someone, and yet, there he was, practically begging her to leave her fiancé and be with him.

“I’m fucking crazy.” She finally breathed and he raised his eyebrows at her. “This all your fault and when my mother finds us your taking the blame.” She smirked and he grinned, realizing what she was saying. “We can’t stay in New York, so you better start figuring out a plan, because were leaving tonight.” She said and he grinned and closed the distance between them, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close, pressing his forehead against hers with a smirk.

"You tell no one, okay? Nothing. Not even people you trust. Not Benji, not your sister, no friends. If no one knows, we've got a better chance." He smirked and kissed her, pressing his lips against hers before pulling back. "You leave your phone behind and only pack important things. Nothing electronic because we can't run the risk of them being able to track it or whatever. Steal as many valuable things as you can for us to sell, but leave your ring behind so they know the wedding's off and you're not coming back." Mark smirked. "We can take off now if you want because it'll probably be easier than trying to sneak out of your house in the middle of the night, but if not, you can finish your party. It's up to you." Mark grinned. "We can go anywhere. Where do you want to go babe?"

He closed the distance between them, resting her forehead against his as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close and all her fear faded. She held his eyes and for the first time in her life, she was doing what she wanted and it felt amazing.

"You tell no one, okay? Nothing. Not even people you trust. Not Benji, not your sister, no friends. If no one knows, we've got a better chance." he smirked and she nodded, before pressing his lips to her and she kissed him back moaning softly against his lips, before he pulled away. "You leave your phone behind and only pack important things. Nothing electronic because we can't run the risk of them being able to track it or whatever. Steal as many valuable things as you can for us to sell, but leave your ring behind so they know the wedding's off and you're not coming back." She matched his smirk, even though deep down she knew the wedding wasn’t off, her mother would make sure she walked down that isle. "We can take off now if you want because it'll probably be easier than trying to sneak out of your house in the middle of the night, but if not, you can finish your party. It's up to you."

She couldn’t wait, they had to leave right then and there, because if they didn’t she’d start to second guess herself. She’d slip up and tell Benji or Ryan and then she would just back out. She couldn’t live in fear her whole life and even if her and Mark only lasted a week at least she wouldn’t regret never having known what it would have been like with him.

"We can go anywhere. Where do you want to go babe?" He said and she smirked having to think for a minute.

“We have to leave now.” She whispered. “Because if we don’t I won’t be able to leave later, we have to leave while I’m willing to.” She sighed, before pressing her lips to his, kissing him deeply, before pulling away and looking him in the eyes. “I can’t go back in there and face Max and pretend there’s nothing between us.” She said honestly. “Besides,” she smirked “I’d kind of like to see you in action, no one’s at my house right now, you can steal whatever the hell you want.” she whispered pressing her lips to his jaw and tracing it gently, before pulling away. She held his eyes running her fingers down his arm before lacing her fingers with his. “Let’s get out of here.” She smirked.

She swam over to where he was and pulled herself out of the pool as she sat next to him, kicking her legs back and forth in the water as she rested her head on his shoulder at it was quite for a moment. It was impossibly simple to be with her, even just sitting there, in silence. He’d take that over not being with her at all.

"No one ever really asks me what I think. They just kind of tell me to do stuff and expect me to do it." she finally said and he hated that. It was all rich people, because they had money they thought they could control everyone around them, especially there kids.

She straddled him and he smirked as he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer and holding her tightly against him. "I guess I think this feels pretty good." she shrugged and he smirked as she lend her forehead against his and held his eyes for a moment, before kissing him.

She moaned making him smirk against her lip. He slid a hand into her hair, gently holding her in the kiss. He kissed her deeply, before tilting her head to the side and deepening the kiss, slipping his tongue past her lips and kissing her the way he had back at the club the first night they’d meant. Only then it had been to seduce her, now as much as he hated it, it was because he meant it.

He pulled away, keeping one arm around her waist and the other tangled in her long hair. He closed his eyes, as his breathing returned to normal, before finally opening his eyes and holding hers.

“Runaway with me.” He whispered with a smirk and he knew it was a long shot and he doubted she’d say yes. Because even though he had her for that moment, somehow he knew her boyfriend still had her and he wasn’t sure she’d ever get over Jason. He pressed his lips to her jaw, placing slow hot kisses continuing down her neck before placing his lips back to hers, not giving her a chance to answer, because he didn’t want to hear her say no.

Spencer slid a hand into her hair to hold her in the kiss, despite the fact that he really didn't need to because she wasn't going anywhere. The kiss was different than most of their other kisses because it felt meaningful, and that scared her a little, but it felt good so she leaned into him as he used his hand in her hair to tilt her head and slip his tongue past her lips, deepening the kiss even more, making her moan softly again.

Eventually he pulled away, but kept her close and kept a hand in her hair like he wasn't done yet, and she watched, trying to compose herself while he did the same. “Runaway with me.” He eventually whispered with a smirk and Ry was about to speak when he pressed his lips against her jaw, kissing along it slowly, stealing her words, and she tilted her head back and closed her eyes with a moan as his lips moved their way down her neck as well.

She wanted that feeling to last forever. She wanted to feel his lips on her skin all the time, not just every chance she could get away. Ryan kissed him back when he kissed her lips and she leaned into it hard, thinking about his words. Would her mother even care if she left? Ryan remembered her mother's words earlier in her room, about her not trying to find out where she was the past three days because at least she was out of the way. If she was missing, she couldn't cause any trouble. Her mother hated it when she stepped out of line when she was around because it looked bad on the family. It reflected poorly on her mother. What if she just left? Would her mother even follow her? She'd be out of the way for the rest of the wedding and nothing would get fucked up because of her and she wouldn't have to watch her sister marry Max, and everyone would just be better off.

The thoughts hurt so much, Ryan pulled away from Spencer and just rested her forehead against his, closing her eyes, trying to slow her breathing as she forced herself to stop thinking about her mother and Frankie's wedding. "I think if Frankie disappeared, the world would stop turning." She finally whispered before opening her eyes with a sigh and climbing out of his lap, sitting next to him again, looking down at the water, suddenly freezing now, because she wasn't touching him and she wasn't wet. Ryan looked at him and smirked like she didn't care even though she did. "My mom would probably pay me to run away. All I ever do is cause her trouble." She scoffed and rolled her eyes before looking away again.

She wanted to say yes, let's go, but she was afraid. Would they even still want each other as badly once they could actually have each other? What if she only wanted him because she couldn't have him, and vice versa? And she didn't know if she could just leave everything she'd ever known like that. She'd hurt people by running away. Like Jason and Karin and Frankie, and her father, if he ever came home long enough to notice. While at the same time, she as sick of trying to gain people's approval and attention. People who were supposed to care about her because she cared about them. All she wanted was to be with him. Just him. Because he was the only person who made her feel like she didn't have anything to prove. "What if running away doesn't work?" She finally whispered after a long silence, keeping her eyes on the water, not looking up at him.

Mark watched as she thought for a second. “We have to leave now.” She whispered and he smirked. He'd been hoping she'd say that. Because leaving right then and there, heading over to her house to grab some things, and then taking off would be a hell of a lot easier than trying to do it later, when her house was full. “Because if we don’t I won’t be able to leave later, we have to leave while I’m willing to.” She sighed, and he nodded and smirked against her lips as she kissed him. “I can’t go back in there and face Max and pretend there’s nothing between us.” She said and he nodded, glad he wouldn't have to watch her pretend to love Max for the rest of the night.

"Besides,” She smirked and he raised a brow. “I’d kind of like to see you in action, no one’s at my house right now, you can steal whatever the hell you want.” She whispered, kissing his jaw and then lacing their fingers. “Let’s get out of here.” She smirked and he nodded, wasting no time.

He pulled her along behind him quickly, ducking outside and he quickly grabbed a set of keys from the valets, who were playing a card game, not really paying attention, before leading her out to the parking lot and smirking. "Let's she what we've got." He said with a laugh and hit the button on the keys, looking around the lot for the car, spotting the one with it's lights on and smirking. "Poor Benji. That kid needs to keep better watch of his car. It's always getting stolen." He laughed before pulling her out to it and getting in.

He waited until she was in before he took off and then pulled out his phone, dialing Winni's number. It took a while but she answered after a few rings, sounding dazed and there was music in the background, meaning she was high and at some sort of party or club. "Winni? Where are you."

"Oh my god Mark, I'm so sorry, it's just that you haven't been home much the past week and I've been bored and alone, so I invited some friends over." She apologized and he groaned before shaking his head.

"Alright, I'll forget that you threw a party in my place without me there and I'll even let you have the place, including the first few month's rest, if you do me a favor." He told her and he could tell that got her interested. He told her to pack him some things in a duffel and go get his car from Benji's, telling her where he kept the spare key, and then take it over to Frankie's and she agreed and he hung up.

The drive was long, but eventually they showed up back at her place and Winni was already waiting there, leaning up against the car. He got out, going over to her and smirked and kissed her cheek, thanking her. "Where's this rent money you promised me?" She asked simply and Mark nodded.

"Just wait out here, we'll be back out with it." He tossed her Benji's keys, telling her that, after they gave her her money, he wanted her to take the car up to the club, park it back in the same spot, return the keys to the valets, and then catch a taxi back home.

He took Frankie's hand in his and lead her inside, smirking at her as he leaned in the doorway, waiting for her to unlock the door. "Got anything worth a couple thousand we can give her?" He asked with a laugh.

They managed to get out and into the parking lot without getting caught which was surprising because she figured by now, her mother or Max would be looking for her. Once they were out in the parking lot, Mark hit the button on the keys he’d taken from the valet and laughed when it was Benji’s car they were taking yet again.

Mark spent some time on the phone talking to someone, telling whoever was on the other end that she could stay at his place, if she did him a favor and finally after a long drive, they’d finally gotten to her house and she knew by now, people would be looking for her; If not her mother, then Max, and if not Max then her father or Max’s family.

As they got out of the car there was a girl waiting out front with Mark’s car. "Where's this rent money you promised me?" She asked and Frankie raised a brow. He wasn’t sure who the girl was, possibly his sister or a friend.

"Just wait out here, we'll be back out with it." He tossed her Benji’s key’s and explained what to do with them before he took Frankie’s hand and led her to the door and she started to unlock it but paused as he spoke. "Got anything worth a couple thousand we can give her?" she smirked.

“Please, a couple thousand to my family is lunch money.” She lend over kissing him before pushing the door to her enormous house open. “Grab whatever you want, I’m going to pack my shit.” She said heading upstairs.

She threw her cell phone on her bed and slipped into her bathroom slipping off her wedding ring like Mark had told her to and there was a small part of her that felt like shit. Because she was leaving Ryan without so much as a goodbye and she loved her sister to death, she just hoped that when she saw her again, she could forgive her.

She grabbed a duffel bag and filled it with only what she needed, nothing more. Before slipping out of her dress and changing into sweats and a tank top and pulling her hair up, before grabbing her bag and heading to her parent’s room. There she unlocked a safe much like Karin’s parents kept and took all the money from there and she honestly wondered if her mother and step-father would even notice. She shoved the stacks of money into her duffel bag before heading back down stairs.

She lend in the archway of the living room where she found Mark. “California” She smirked referring to where she wanted to go.

"I think if Frankie disappeared, the world would stop turning." she whispered, before climbing out of his lap and he let her go with a sigh. "My mom would probably pay me to run away. All I ever do is cause her trouble." She scoffed and rolled her eyes before looking away again.

It was quite for a long time as they both sat there, completely silent thinking to their selves. She was actually contemplating running away and that surprised him. If she did say yes, where would they go? He could make money easily by selling drugs. Money wasn’t the issue, it was hiding her. Because as much as she didn’t want to believe it, her family would come after her. She wouldn’t just be able to disappear and cut all ties, people would ask questions.

Him on the other hand, no one gave a shit about him. His brother pretended to and Jimmy called himself Spencer’s friend, but in the end he was just more trouble than for them, not to mention the fact that he hurt everyone who got close. So in the end if he runaway, no one would care.

"What if running away doesn't work?" she whispered dragging him from his thoughts and he wanted to pretend to have the answers and tell her it would work, but he just couldn’t lie to her.

“I honestly don’t know then.” He sighed running his fingers through his hair. “I’ll probably hurt you.” He shrugged. “But, I think you’ll fight back and hurt me in return.” He smirked at the thought. “But, I can promise you that while I have you around I’ll take care of you.” He said honestly “I’m not going to promise you I’ll be any better than you’re your boyfriend, I’ll probably be ten times worse than him.” He sighed. He knew he was only able to be honest with her because he was sober.

He lend over and grabbed her jaw gently until he was holding her eyes. “I’ll I know is that the feeling I get with you, is fucking incredible and your beautiful.” He smirked pressing his lips to hers.

“I honestly don’t know then.” Spencer sighed and she matched his sigh with one of her own. “I’ll probably hurt you. But, I think you’ll fight back and hurt me in return.” He said and she closed her eyes. Why was she even considering it? She should just go back to Jason. It was easier that way. “But, I can promise you that while I have you around I’ll take care of you. I’m not going to promise you I’ll be any better than your boyfriend, I’ll probably be ten times worse than him.” He sighed.

Then why bother? She thought to herself, turning her head away from him, not wanting to look at him. Why bother trading all the shit Jace put her through for something worse? At least Jason was solid and she knew he'd always be there. She could runaway with Spencer and fuck up her whole life, and then wake up one day in three weeks alone.

He leaned over to her and grabbed her jaw, turning her head so she was looking him in the eye and she searched his gaze for something that told her it's be okay if she left with him. “All I know is that the feeling I get with you, is fucking incredible and you're beautiful.” He smirked and she leaned into him as he pressed his lips against hers. He was right. The feeling she got with him was unlike anything she'd ever felt, and she wanted to hang onto it as long as she could.

"Okay." She mumbled against his lips before leaning harder against him, climbing back into his lap, moving her lips along his jaw and neck, running her fingers along his bare chest. "I'll run away with you." She smirked as she kissed him, slowly bringing her lips back up to his, kissing him hard and wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling her body tightly against his.

“Please, a couple thousand to my family is lunch money.” She said and kissed him and he laughed and kissed her back before she pulled away and opened the door. “Grab whatever you want, I’m going to pack my shit.” She said and he watched her go before making his way through the house, bag in his hand.

He didn't take anything big, because he really didn't feel like carrying anything big, but he did find a couple hundred in cash lying around and a pack of cigarettes on the kitchen counter. That was pretty much all he took from downstairs. Once he got upstairs, he took quite a bit more. Jewelry mostly. Because the rich always wore jewelry that was worth tens of thousands of dollars for a single ring, and it was small. So he took as much as he could find before heading back downstairs and sitting on the living room couch, lighting a cigarette as he waited for her to come back down.

When she finally did arrive, he put the cigarette out in the ashtray and leaned back on the couch, looking her over as she stood in the archway. “California.” She said simply and he smirked and nodded, standing and walking over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her slowly.

"California it is then." He smirked, pulling away from her, lacing his fingers with hers. "That's a long way princess. Hope you can handle it." He laughed before pulling her from the house, tossing a diamond necklace to Winni, who looked it over and then tossed him his keys.

"I don't know what you're doing, but good luck. Be careful. If you need any help from home, call me." She said and he watched her get in Benji's car before looking at Frankie and grinning. He kissed her, before raising an eyebrow and jingling the keys.

"Ready?" He smirked, not giving her a chance to answer as he opened the passenger side for her and pushed her in, leaning down to kiss her one more time before closing the door and heading around to his side, getting in and pulling out onto the road.

"California it is then." He smirked and she matched his smirk as he laced his fingers with hers. "That's a long way princess. Hope you can handle it." he laughed and she just rolled her eyes as he pulled her from the house.
The honesty of it was she hoped she could handle it too. She’d never been away from her mother and her sister for longer than a day or two. But, it wasn’t her mother she was worried about it was Ryan and she knew her mom well enough to know she’d put more pressure on Ryan or she’d completely ignore her trying to find Frankie, as if the world had completely stopped turning. That thought was utterly frustrating.

"I don't know what you're doing, but good luck. Be careful. If you need any help from home, call me." The girls voice brought her from her thoughts, she watched as she got into Benji’s car and took off.

Mark’s lips pressed to hers, focusing her full attention on him no as she kiss him back leaning into the kiss, before he pulled away jingling the keys and she laughed "Ready?" he smirked and she didn’t have a chance to answer, before he opened the passenger door and pushed her in before leaning down and kissing her. She watched as he walked around the car before her eyes flicked to her house one more time, before they pulled out onto the road.

"Okay." she muttered against his lips and he wasn’t paying much attention to what she meant. She climbed back into his lap and he pulled her close as he lips moved along jaw and then his neck. He shivered as she ran her fingers along his chest. "I'll run away with you." she smirked.

He didn’t have time to ask her questions before she pressed her lips to his, kissing him hard and he kissed her back just as hard. He placed a hand on her lower back and flipped her over swiftly, before climbing over her, pressing his lips to hers again. Letting his lips trail her jaw and down her neck, anyone could walk out on them, but it didn’t matter. He pulled away holding her eyes with a wicked smirk.

“Guess we better get going then” he said kissing her forehead as he stood up pulling her up with him. “How’s Florida sound?” he smirked “Spring breaks coming up.” She laughed as he threw an arm around her shoulder as if they had nothing to worry about and they were simply going on vacation and not running away.

He kissed her back just as hard before placing a hand on her lower back, sending electricity racing across her skin before he flipped her swiftly into he'd back and climbing over her. Ryan smirked against his lips ad he kissed her again, heart racing, knowing anyone could walk out and see them. His lips made their way along her jaw and then down her neck and she closed her eyes and turned her head with a moan.

Eventually, he pulled away and she sighed and looked up at him. “Guess we better get going then.” He said and kissed her forehead, standing and pulling her up and she knew he was right. They couldn't stay much longer, otherwise someone would find them and she'd probably change her mind. “How’s Florida sound?” He smirked and she smirked back at him. “Spring breaks coming up.” He laughed and tossed his arms around her shoulders casually, and Ryan nodded and leaned in to kiss him briefly before pulling away.

"Anywhere but here." She said simply before turning and leaving him, heading back to the railing, pulling her dress back on and then reaching up to grab her purse and shoes. As she reached up, she could see through the window, her mother, Max, and Jason, all arguing and Ryan knit her brows and watched for a second before Jason turned his eyes to the window and she ducked quickly out of sight, pulling her shoes and purse with her. Why was Max arguing with her mother? Jason and her mother made sense, because Ryan was missing and her mother would be yelling at Jason not to make a big scene about it in the middle of the party, but Max? She had a hard time believing he'd care if she went missing.

Was Frankie missing too? Why would Frankie go missing? She was perfect, always did what her mother said. Frankie wouldn't just disappear unless there was something horribly wrong. Ryan looked at Spencer, considering going inside, if for nothing else than to find out what was wrong with Frankie, but she knew if she went back in there, she'd change her mind about leaving with him. It was either Spencer and her freedom or her sister, and Ryan felt awful, but she knew she couldn't go back inside. "I think we better leave." She whispered to Spencer. "Jason might have just seen me."

When her and Mark had first gotten to San Francisco, everything was incredibly perfect. She was convinced by the first month that she was completely in love with him. Life couldn’t be more amazing and nothing else seemed to matter. They’d spent the first month in a shitty hotel, having passionate sex and getting high. It was like nothing she’d ever experienced. They went to clubs and when she woke up the next morning she couldn’t remember what had happened, but all that matted was waking up next to him.

Finally they’d found an ad in the paper, looking for roommates and a week later they were moving into a beautiful two story house, with three others. That’s when Mark and Frankie’s perfect world had started crashing down around them, or maybe Frankie had been wanting so desperately for something different then the life she’d grown up in that she’d tried to make something work, that deep down she knew never could. Whatever the case, Mark had created a Monster the moment she’d walked in on him and one of their roommate, Sadie.

She lost it, because she’d let herself fall in love with him and he knew that. He knew he had her all of her and no matter what, she could never leave him. She’d loved Max, but she was in love with Mark. They’d fought and the fight had turned violent, until he’d hit her and she hit him back. It was her and Max all over again, the only difference was no matter what Mark did, she’d always come back to him, not because she had to, but because she physically needed him.

That was the start of her downfall. She’d gotten colder and impossibly hard to get along with. She’d started relying on drugs and booze more heavily. Her and Sadie were connately fighting, even getting the cops called on them a few times, but Sadie refused to move out and Frankie refused to let it go. She was having meaningless sex, behind Marks back with his friend and their other roommate, Reed. Mark had yet to catch them. It was a never ending cycle of hurting each other, but always coming back to each other, because they knew they couldn’t survive without the other.

The house was a complete mess. They still hadn’t cleaned up from yesterday night’s party. Frankie sat on the couch in nothing bust one of Mark’s shirts and her lacy under ware. There were fresh needles, that Frankie had just shot up with scattered on the coffee table next to several empty beer bottles. She picked at the black chipped nail polish on her fingers nails, trying to keep her mind off the fact that Mark had left only a few minutes after Sadie earlier in the day and neither of them had returned, despite the fact it was almost midnight. She wasn’t stupid, she knew they were still hooking up and that killed her, she’d give anything to go back four months ago to when they’d first gotten to San Francisco.

She took a sip from the whiskey bottle in her hands, trying to let the soft hum of the music, calm her nerves, like it used to. But, that seemed like years ago now and she wasn’t sure she even remembered how to dance. She listened to the words and she hated them, because the song reminded her way to fucking much of her and Mark. She took another swig from the bottle. She closed her eyes letting a few tears fall, but wiping them away quickly, she couldn’t remember the last time she let herself cry in front of anyone.

The worst part about her fucked up life, was that she was honestly happy. It didn’t matter how messed up things were, Mark was all she wanted and even if her mother, Max, Ryan, or Benji found her and she was giving the chance to go back to her old life no questions asked, she wouldn’t. Because being miserable with freedom and love, was better than being miserable in a loveless marriage with no freedom.

She heard the door open, causing her to open her eyes in hopes that it would be Mark, without Sadie. But, it wasn’t it was Reed fuck she thought to herself. She was in no mood for her bad attitude and ass hole comments. He had a way of talking her into bed with him and she hated that even when she said no, she still somehow ended up in bed with him.

“Hey Franks.” He smirked wickedly as he sat down next to her kicking his feet up on the coffee table as he snatched the whisky bottle from her hand, looking between her and the coffee table. “Looks like you had yourself a pity party, without me. Where’s that boyfriend of yours?” he taunted.

“Fuck off Reed.” She spat hatefully as she got up heading towards her and Marks room. But he caught her before she had a chance to slip into the room and cut herself off from him. He shoved her into the wall hard enough to steal the air from her lungs, before she could catch her breath her pressed his lips to hers roughly and the drugs made it so she couldn’t pull away, she only kissed him back, mentally kicking herself.

“When you going to realize he doesn’t love you.” He whispered against her lips and that made her stomach twist. She glared at him. “You know it’s true, if he loved you he wouldn’t have broken you and you’d still be wearing that pretty smile you had the first time I met you.” She swallowed hard closing her eyes.

“Stop it.” She whispered, begging him. “You’re supposed to be his friend.” She knew it sounded stupid but that was the best she had.

“I am.” He shrugged. “But, that doesn’t mean I can’t call him out.” He said stepping away from her. She used the space between them to push him away and slip into her room, using the door for support. “Forget about him, Francesca.” He said from the other side of the door. “I wouldn’t hurt you like him.” He said and with that she heard retreating footsteps.

She pushed off the door, walking over to the window, grabbing a half full bottle of vodka on the way. She pushed open the window, climbing out onto the fire escape. She sat down looking out at the bright city lights, that reminded her too much of home as she lit herself a cigarette, taking a long drag off of it. The music inside got louder and she was glad Reed wasn't trying to pursue her and so she closed her eyes letting the soft music drown out her misery.

"Anywhere but here." she said and he smirked, before she headed over to the balcony and he followed behind her. He watched her as she climbed back up. Before he picked up his suite jacket that he’d left lying there and grabbed his phone call dialing his brother.

“Chris, I need a favor.” He said hating the fact that he was having to call his brother, but he was the only person he knew with a million different hook up. “I’m leaving, tonight.” He said simply and there was a moment of silence. “I need a place to stay in Miami.” He kept his voice quite.

“Alright.” Chris said without arguing and that surprised Spencer, there had to be a catch. “But, you’re going to sell for me.” He could hear the smirk in his brother’s voice. Spencer rolled his eyes as he glanced up at Ryan, who was occupied looking through the windows.

“Fine.” he spat. “But, if I’m selling this place better be fucking worth it.” He hated the fact that he was going to have to work under his brother, but it was better than nothing.

His brother, was quick with information. Explaining where they’d be staying and to call him when they got there, before hanging up, just as Ryan jumped down in front of him again.

"I think we better leave. Jason might have just seen me." He nodded before pressing his lips to her and lacing their fingers together as they headed out.

---
When they’d gotten to Florida, Spencer’s brother hadn’t disappointed. He’d gotten them a beautiful house on the beach. It was incredible. It wasn’t long before Spencer started dealing for his brother and he’d stayed in touch with one of the dealers from the club and so on top of dealing for his brother, he was dealing the drug that from that club that no one knew about. So to say him and Ryan were living comfortably would be an understatement.

Their house was rarely empty, they had parties almost every night. It hadn’t taken long for Spencer to make friends with the right people and use his talent to get nearly everyone including some of the cops on his side. Spencer was easily one of the most popular dealer in the area and everyone knew who is beautiful girlfriend was, she was the envy of girl who came to their parties or knew her, not just because she was beautiful, but because it was obvious how in love with her Spencer was.

When another guy looked at her the wrong way, he beat the shit out of them. Spencer had become ten times more dangerous, because he’d gotten a big head and carried himself as if he was invincible. He’d become a million times more arrogant, Spencer had been arrested a total of seven times over the last four months yet every time he’d managed to get out of it. Spencer was on his way to the top of the drug ring and he was taking Ryan with him.

He’d tried his best not to hurt her. But, that hadn’t lasted very long, because when he was high, he was dangerously violent and he hit her, nearly putting her in the hospital a few times. She’d even caught him with some girls a few times and every time she caught him he told her it was the last time, but they both knew it was a lie. He loved her though, there was no arguing that. In fact he was so in love with her that was the reason he was always fucking up and hurting her, because he honestly didn’t know how to love, she was the first girl he’d ever fallen in love with and it scared the shit out of him.

Their usual Friday night party was underway. The music was blasting through the house and Spencer had a girl sitting on each side of him, girls who though they actually had a chance with him. He lend down snorting a few lines as he looked out over the sea of faces and he was getting increasingly more frustrated at the fact that he couldn’t find her.

“Spinner, why don’t you take me and Cassie upstairs.” One of the girls whispered kissing his Jaw and he shoved her off harshly.

“Because you’re not worth my fucking time.” He spat standing up, headed to look for Ryan.

At first, things had been great. She'd never felt more free in her life, and she loved that she could be with Spencer all the time, not just whenever she could get away from her busy life. It had been equal parts frightening and excited, but everything that involved Spencer was always a little scary because he was dangerous, it only attracted her to him more. She loved him. That much had become obvious in less than a month. She loved him more than she'd ever loved anyone or anything, and needed him badly. When she wasn't with him, it physically hurt and she always hated when they fought. That was probably why she let him get away with the things he did. Because she couldn't stand to be without him and she didn't want him to leave her.

The new house was beautiful, and for a while, things were great. They had a lot of sex, and did a lot of drugs, and threw a lot of parties. She loved the parties. Ryan had always been the kind of girl who loved attention, and she loved that, when she was on Spencer's arm, people looked at her with jealousy, either wishing they could be her or be with her. It was easy to tell that the two of them were in love.

As time went on though, things started to change a little and living with him became increasingly difficult. He became more and more arrogant and dangerous and they started to fight more and more, but even those first fights were nothing but a few angry words back and forth because they were both frustrated, and then he'd kiss her and if was over. They weren't much, so she could cope with it.

That all changed the first time she'd caught him with someone else though. Their fights quickly became violent, and she caught him quite a few times with other girls and it hurt, but she couldn't leave him and she hated that. He'd promise her it was the last time and she'd promise that next time, she'd leave him and go back home, but they both knew their promises were empty. So they just kept fighting. She'd scream at him, and he'd scream back, and she'd push him to the point that he'd hit her and then she'd try to get away from him, but he wouldn't let her, and, eventually, their fights always ended the same way. Somehow, he'd manage to shut her up and get her to sleep with him and she'd feel like shit when it was over because she was always letting him win. Because she was too afraid to lose him.

So, to avoid the whole thing, she'd started to stay away from him at parties if she could. She'd started sleeping with a man named Dante who dealt with him often behind his back, but not too often, and never when he was home, because she was terrified of Spencer's jealousy, knowing he'd not only beat the hell out of the guy, but probably her as well. So she kept it a secret and was careful, and so far, he had yet to catch on.

One of their parties was going on at the moment, and Ri had stayed near Spencer for a while, but had gotten sick of watching a couple girls hang all over him, so she'd left, intending to head upstairs and go to bed early, but Dante had found her and stopped her. She'd allowed herself to have a few drinks with him as well as a few joints, and then she took some pills even though she knew it was stupid, and before she knew it, he'd taken her wrist and pulled her into the bathroom, lifting her up onto the sink, kissing down her neck.

His hands moved slowly up her thighs, under her dress as he kissed her and she shook her head and grabbed his shirt, trying to push him off. "Dante..." She whispered, trying to fight the drugs in her system. "Dante not right now, he's home. He'll hear. He'll know." She begged.

That made him smirk and he took her hands in one hand and pulled her body tighter against his, using his free hand to cover her mouth tightly. "Then I guess you better stay quiet." He said, holding her eyes as he released her wrists and slid his hand up under her dress, keeping her mouth covered.

It was hard to concentrate and keep herself from giving in, the drugs were making his touch feel incredible, but she managed to bite his hand, hard, and that made him wince and release her. "He'll fucking kill you if he finds out, you idiot. Wait a while before you come out. I don't want him to see us come out together." She spat before using her leg to kick him away and slipping quickly out of the bathroom.

The first month with Frankie was perfect. They fell madly in love, and everything was great. They got a long, spent nights fucking and days getting high, they'd even moved in with a few other people, into a beautiful house, and things were okay there too, for a while.

And then, just like everything Mark did, he had to go and fuck it up. Because he loved her too much and it freaked him out. He'd never loved someone. So he started sleeping with their roommate Sadie, and it was only a matter of time before she caught him and everything changed from there. It got hard to live in the house, but he refused to leave her, despite the fact that he could see clearly that he was destroying her and it killed him.

They'd had a party the night before, and he'd tried his best to avoid both Sadie and Frankie, but sometime during the next night, Sadie woke him up, asking for a ride to work He'd told her to fuck off, knowing somehow, they'd end up fucking, but she'd told him to shut up and stop worrying because it was just a ride to work so eventually, he gave in.

She worked nights at a grocery store not far away, and she told him that she'd give him a discount on stuff for dinner in exchange for the ride. He'd told her about a thousand times that they were not going to have sex. But, in the end, they'd fucked in the backseat of his car before she left and then he'd gone inside to get some things to bring back to the house for dinner, and she'd been ringing him up when she leaned over and kissed him, and eventually, they were having sex in the store's storage room.

"This is the last time Sadie." He told her as he stood and zipped his jeans, pulling on his shirt. "I can't do this to her anymore." She only smirked and rolled her eyes.

"Yeah. You said that out in the car too, yet here you are." She said and he rolled his eyes, irritated with her, grabbing his bag of stuff and turning, leaving.

He went home and found Reed on the couch, and Frankie missing. He tossed the bag at him. "Make dinner." He ordered with a smirk when really, he wasn't hungry, before heading upstairs to the room he shared with Frankie. She wasn't in it, but he could see her out on the fire escape smoking so he stepped out and wrapped his arms around her, moving her hair to the side and kissing down her neck. "I love you." He whispered against her skin.

She took a drink of the vodka before standing up, leaning against the railing and tossing the bottle off, watching is at shattered on the street. She flicked her cigarette ways, wanting nothing more than to be numb. She thought about crawling into bed and trying to fall asleep, before he got home, so she wouldn’t have to listen to him tell her he loved her or that he was sorry. But, she knew she wouldn’t be able to fall asleep.

In hopes of getting the thought of Mark being with Sadie out of her mind, her thoughts wen to Reed. There wasn’t an ounce of her the loved him, she’d initially just started sleeping with him to get at Mark. But, then she didn’t want to hurt him like he hurt her and so she tried to stop. But, Reed knew how to use Mark and her weakness to get her into bed.

She lit another cigarette as she heard the door shut and she already knew it was Mark. With any luck she hoped he’d just go to bed. But, she wasn’t that lucky and he stepped out on the fire escape with her, wrapping his arms around her and she hated that he was still able to set her entire body on fire like the night they’d first met. He moved her hair, kissing down her neck and she closed her eyes.

"I love you." he whispered against her skin causing her to open her eyes.

She turned around to face him, tears rimmed her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. She held his eyes for a long moment. She could tell he’d been with Sadie, it was obvious in the way he’d said he loved her and the fact that her perfume was all over him.

“Do you?” she spat back bitterly. Struggling between wanting to yell at him or just break down, because she wasn’t sure how much more she could honestly take. He was killing her and the worst was he knew exactly what her was doing. “Because it doesn't feel like that from where I’m standing.” She whispered.

She lend up pressing her lips to his “But, for what it’s worth I love you too.” She whispered against his lips, before pushing past him and climbing in the window. She went over to her bed sitting down and burying her face in her hands.

Spencer pushed past people roughly looking everywhere for her. He could feel the rage in his body and he was trying to calm himself down, because he knew once he found her he’d hurt her and even through his drug induced state, he didn’t want to hurt her. He grabbed a bottle of whisky of the kitchen counter taking a drink from it as he headed up stairs towards there room.

As he got to the top of the staircase his eyes found Ryan coming out of the bathroom and he knit his brows, wondering why she wasn’t using their bathroom, like she always did, he knew there was something off there, but he didn’t read too much into it, because he was just glad he’d found her.

He lend against the wall smirking as she finally noticed him, but blocking the staircase so she couldn’t go down stairs. He looked over her, catching the fact that she looked a little disheveled and he raised a brow as he grabbed her wrist roughly and drug her to the nearest room shoving her inside and leaning against the door, so she couldn’t get out.

“Who are you fucking?” he spat accusingly. “Because it’s obviously not me.” He said raising his voice. He closed the space between them grabbing a hand full of her hair roughly and forcing her to look at him. He still hadn’t told her he loved her, he just assumed she knew, he figured telling her meant he had to say it out loud and it was something he hadn’t been able to bring himself to do.

He pressed his lips to hers loosening the grip on her hair. Slipping his tongue past her lips, deepening the kiss. He pulled away from her lips tracing along her jawline, pausing at her ear as he pulled away, letting the muffled music fill the silence for a moment.

“I love babe, you know that don’t you?” he finally whispered and he hated that he’d finally said it because now it was real, not that it hadn’t been real before, but now he’d actually admitted it to her, instead of danced around it like he’d been doing.

Once out of the bathroom, Ryan leaned against the wall for a second, taking a deep breath, glad she'd managed to get away from him. She opened her eyes and glanced down the hall, seeing Spencer leaning against the wall. He was smirking, like he knew what had just happened and it made her heart race as he blocked the staircase and looked her over, raising a brow at her and then grabbing her wrist harshly and shoving her into the nearest room, closing the door and leaning on it, blocking her exit.

“Who are you fucking?” He spat accusingly and, even though his accusation was right, she rolled her eyes like she couldn't believe it. “Because it’s obviously not me.” He yelled and she was about to scream back at him when he closed the distance between them and grabbed hold of her hair roughly, making her wince and forcing her to look him in the eye.

His lips then came down on hers and the grip on his hair loosened so it wasn't as painful as he slipped his tongue into her mouth. She wanted to break away from him, but if she'd thought the drugs made it hard to break away from Dante it was pretty much impossible to break away from him. His lips started to move away from hers, tracing along her jaw, making her lean her head back and moan, pressing her body against him. He paused at her ear, making her crazy at his hesitation as the muffled sounds of party music filled the silence.

“I love babe, you know that don’t you?” He finally whispered and she closed her eyes for a second, loving the sound of those words coming from him, before shaking her head, opening them and pushing him off her, taking a few steps back.

"Fuck you." She spat. "If you loved me, you'd trust me." She hissed, feeling awful even as she said it, because she knew he loved her and she loved him too, so she should be saying it back, but she didn't. "Don't you have some whore to fuck?" Was what she spat instead.

Frankie turned to face him and he could see the tears in her eyes and he hated himself for putting them there. They held each other's gaze for a long time and he knew it'd be useless to lie about Sadie because he could see in her eyes that she knew.

“Do you?” she spat back bitterly and he clenched his jaw. He could tell she was on the verge of fighting or collapsing. He hated what he was doing to her. He was breaking her and he wasn't sure how to stop because break things was all he'd ever done. “Because it doesn't feel like that from where I’m standing.” She whispered and it killed him to hear.

She lend up and kissed him and he sighed as she pulled away. “But, for what it’s worth I love you too.” She before heading back inside and he watched her for a second before sighing and following her, taking her wrist and pulling her up, wrapping an arm around her waist to pull her body to his before kissing her hard on the lips.

He placed a hand on the back of her neck and held her tighter so she couldn't fight him before pulling away and looking down at her. "Of course I love you." He whispered. "I just don't know how to love. I'm still trying to figure it out." He rolled his eyes and pressed his lips against her jaw, tracing it slowly, before moving along her neck.
