Ignoring the fact that he refused to talk he tried to calm down his quick rising anger.
'Wait... What do you mean your parents died... They were killed?' Toki asked. He may not exactly understand what Walker was talking about. But he knew about the death of family.
That. And for some reason, he could tell this guy, no matter how crazy, was telling the truth. Or at least what he felt was the truth. And plus, he had nothing really better to do. So he might as well hear him out.
Toki is way too used to getting into fights.

Unless if the elder lied to me that my mom is died that is. And I never seen m dad, like EVER,(Her dad never left he town with her mom)' she thought. She ran up next to walker to follow him, not knowing that he can read any mind.
Toki saw Mattinata leave and decided to follow her.
He actually liked her (unlike with most humans) and had a feeling he could trust her to a degree.
That and he was really sick of being completely alone all the time.

Walker heard what Mattinata thought and just shrugged it off. He kept walking, destination was to the little town he was in before. He heard foots coming behind them and figured it was Toki. "Oh, and to your question, Toki. I don't know if my were killed or just left. I seriously don't know. And Mattinata, I heard what you thought. I'm empathetic. I can hear thoughts, and feel emotions. I also didn't know my father."
'I don't think any mother could leave their child. And if they can, they are not worthy of being called a mother.' Toki thought, more to himself, twirling the bead around his neck again. It was like a weird comfort thing for him.
"Nice to know that you read minds. NOW I don't have a lot of privacy. Oh well," Mattinata said. 'Come to me Mattinata, come back,' A voice in her head said. Stopping and looking around, Mattinata said, "Who said that, I know it isn't Toki. And where are you!" It said, 'You will learn soon, but for now, go to the ruins of the elven city. Come there!'
Walker's fingertips felt like they were being broken. "Ugh...!" he exclaimed. He also heard really faint JUBS.
Walker tried to hear them but as they opened his mind just went shocked with pain, as the jubs turned into a voice he didn't understand. The voice pierced his mind with so much power that he tumbled and screamed in pain. He's been cut, he's had a broken bone, he's even been burned but this pain was more than he could handle. He kept wailing, but then finally he cut the voice back to it's faint jubs. He started to sob uncontrollaby.
Walker tried to hear them but as they opened his mind just went shocked with pain, as the jubs turned into a voice he didn't understand. The voice pierced his mind with so much power that he tumbled and screamed in pain. He's been cut, he's had a broken bone, he's even been burned but this pain was more than he could handle. He kept wailing, but then finally he cut the voice back to it's faint jubs. He started to sob uncontrollaby.
"Are you okay Walker? Please be okay," Mattinata said. 'He might need a elven that KNOWS how to heal, and see you later,' The voice said. "Stop teasing me, voice," She said back to it.
Toki, on the other hand had no idea what to think. One minute they were talking normally. And the next Mattinata is talking to thin air and the Mind Reader is bawling his face off.
A few strangled, "Uh, uh" 's come out of his mouth but nothing more.
So he does the best thing he knows how. He sits down on the ground, crossing his legs and closing his eyes, and then imagines a bubble around the three of them that nothing can penetrate. Not even the voices he couldn't hear.
And soon enough, that bubble comes to "life" and is visible for all to see. At least Toki made it so they had air.

The voice started to tell Toki,(The voice can switch to other minds) 'Hello, Mattinata heared me for your nollage, but PLEASE DO NOT DO THAT! It makes me nurvies. Oh ya, I'm a person who is using there power. Come to the ruins of the elven city, like I told her. I rather not tell the other mind too, 'cause it would give him even more pain. So see you when you come.'
