SKILLS/TALENTS
Hector is a superb swordsman and spear fighter; as Priam's eldest son, he was trained from an early age in all aspects of knightly warfare, and once he had proven he had the energy and prowess that his father once had, they began to train him in all things kingly. He learned how to speak to people, especially foreigners in matters of state, entertainment, arts, and wine. He is able to hold his liquor with even the most Macedonian of drinking partners, and can wrestle in games with the most Mycenaean of opponents. Hector has been trained to be everything his nation needs him to be, and will prove his mettle against any who may choose to challenge it. He is also extremely pious, having a devout faith in Apollo the Sun God to the point that he visits temple to pray every night before he sleeps. When on campaign, he brings a statuette of Apollo with him and creates a makeshift shrine wherever they may go.
WEAKNESSES
Hector is a proud man. His abilities and his potential have left him the victim to his own ego, which gets wrapped up in ideas of honor and righteous victory. He has led expeditions against Hindu rebels that wind up farther from home than most men in the Trojan Home Guard would consider comfortable, but the pursuit of getting his honored name out among the masses beyond Troy's walls is a journey that is worth months of marching.
RELATIONSHIP STATUS
Happily engaged to be married to Andromache, daughter of Eetion of the Thebans
