[You can start when you want]

Rain was pouring heavily on the castles walls,making loud noises against it.Alexandra let out a sigh as turned to the opposite side of her on the bed and then said to her husband next to her."It's time to wake up dear....we have quite a bit to do today so might as well start right now."She then gave him a smile before stretching and getting ready to get off their soft King bed. She was usually tired...but not today.Not when they had so much to think of.The demons lightly were becoming more bold ....even going as far to send them rude and vulgar messages.Why just yesterday one of them sent her a head of an sheep as a "present".She let out a sigh thinking about it and ran her fingers through her messy black hair.

Desiree was laying on some pillows and silk blankets on the ground of her personal chambers, glancing to the window where rain pounded on the glass like knives. She sighed, running a hand through her silky black hair as she slowly rose from the ground, her hips moving and her long arms resting on her sides as she would slowly walk to the window, pressing her hands against the glass. She pressed her lips against the glass as a bright blood red kiss mark was left and she smiled wickedly and slowly walked away from the window, her hips swaying side to side as her legs were exposed, her thing slender stomach and her back and arms and chest. Her breasts were covered by a thin red strip, almost like a bra, and she wore red flaps that covered her front and her back and went down to about her knee caps in length but didn't touch them. A skull was on the belt part of the bottom piece of clothing and she looked at her long blood red nails. She needed to file them later.

She made her way to the door and then down a few hallways of the large palace she lived in, and then to a doorway, which was made of red curtain, and she slid through it and then walked into the area where a steaming circular pool was placed. She saw high class demons and children sliding into the pool, splashing and enjoying themselves. She smiled as they all looked at her with their heads bowed after and she slowly slid to the side of the pool, resting her smooth tight legs into the warm heated water and leaned her head back. She waved her hand as the silence turned back into splashing and talking but more whispers then anything.

Vladimir arose from his crimson bed. Thoughts of the previous days still dug deep in his mind. His sheets had folded funny on his arms and left lacerations where they'd wrinkled. He'd obviously been stiring in his sleep. Thoughs of the severed animal head, dismembered vampires, and tainted blood -courtacy of the demons- haunted him. His wife, Alexandra, had woken him from a nightmare. Nightmares were something a vampire was said to have scoffed at, but were actually taken seriously. "The messages being sent bring war. I fear our culture and lives are at a danger." Vlad was just as real as he was elegant. If he was troubled, he discussed things with his wife. He rarely had conflicting emotions but when he did, he always brought them up with his spouse. "I'm I doing things wrong, my dear?"

Alexandra tilted her slightly and a curious expression showed on her face."Of course not love, your doing the best you can....it's the whole demon kingdom that are at the wrong here."She sighed as she scratched her head slightly."As for the danger.....we are always in danger.Merely breathing makes the demons our enemies so there isn't much we can do besides keep fighting."She remained on the bed for a moment frowning slightly

"What can we do though?There are so many of them.....perhaps too many for us to handle."

"I'd fight a kindgom alone to keep you safe, as well as my people." Alexandra was the first woman Vladimir had courted. He might consider herself lucky, but they both were in love. "I will also protect our people that reside beyond the kingdom. You, however, are my treasure." He kissed her lightly then walked to the window. "The messages are becomming more bold and gruesome. I fear an attack is approaching. Our defence is well prepared, but more soldiers would always be accepted." Vladimir was tempted to travel to the Demon kindgom once. That choice was negated when he rembered Alexandra and the nights they'd shared. He wasn't prepared to risk all of that. "I will simply not let them attack this ground."

Desdemona looked up at the intricate design and deep dark hues of the stained glass windows in the old citadel; her sanctuary and home seemed an eerie place for anyone to find comfortable. The cathedral ceilings, and dark granite floor paired with grand archways leading into different passages and halls…this was her favorite place however the main corridor. The giant clock above in the tower struck loud six times marking the start of morning though she hadn’t slept…

A strange ominous feeling sat heavy in her heart and with every beat she felt more unease, with every breath of dust filled air she grew more worried. Grasping the golden locket around her neck she whispered softly into the cathedral’s vast emptiness.

“Show me Alathea…” Her words were returned by a faint glow of red light in the center of the room in which she proceeded to step carefully around. “Surely you know…” She called out to it; it would seem to an outside perspective that she was speaking to herself though in truth her words were being answered just not clear enough to her liking. Her brow furrowed as she collapsed gently there kneeling on the floor entering a deep state of reflection and foresight though all she saw was blankness…an empty obscurity of events that she couldn’t piece together. It was as if the demons were taking the precautions of hiding their plans from her which was near impossible to do with her level of clairvoyance. This was frustrating for a woman so used to knowing what was to come to be left in the dark.

Finally coming back to consciousness she let out a groan of dismay before getting up off the ground and dusting off her red cloak before stepping towards the exit of the citadel and into the ivy garden…All the while talking quietly to herself about something to do with stars and lineage…it didn’t make sense, her words, but they rarely ever did. She held out an arm as a black raven swooped down and perched there; a mouse wiggled between its large beak helplessly.
“Now, now Lucy, put that down.” She ordered and the bird reluctantly obliged…She un tucked a note from the bosom of her black lace dress. Placing it in the bird’s beak she gave her next instruction. “Send for Vladimir and Alexandra…” She said as the bird quickly returned to flight to deliver the cryptic message as most of hers were. It merely read…
A fiend left under the moon is a threat to my king. Please allow me to explain…we must discuss the latest movement.
She sighed reaching out towards the flying bird a moment watching him in his majestic flight…”If they are hiding something I will know of it…” She promised herself.

As Vladimir gazed out of the window a raven as black as an abyss flew and tapped on the glass with a paper in its beak. "We have a message." Vlad said as he opened the window. The message was pulled soflty from the birds mouth as it jutted its head to and fro. "It says:

'A fiend left under the moon is a threat to my king. Please allow me to explain…we must discuss the latest movement.' Curious."

Vladimir finished the letter and replied, clearly in his wife's view. "Do tell of these details as I would like to reach an understanding." He used the same cypher as the sender. Carrying the paper to tuck into the raven's oral envelope. "Return to sender." He whispered and sent the bird on its way.

"My darling," chimed Vladimir, "I do believe we may be able to reach an agreement with someone." He kissed her happily once more, then held her tightly before moving to the bath house.

Desdemona knew the king’s response far before the bird returned; for in her own empire it was easy to peer into the logistics and decisions of the royal family she served. Within a moment, a blink of an eye she was located outside the king and queens bed chamber lightly rapping on the door to let her presence be known. She was a frequent visitor but usually not so frantic to arrive so early in the morning and on such short notice; generally she had due time to react to whatever threat was present but in this case this were different.

It was hard to predict what was to come when she was given a blank slate; this was something she was unused to.
“Ho hum…ho hum…” She mumbled wistfully to herself running her hand along the embellished door handle of their bed chamber. “What a beaut…” She got lost in her own train of thought before finishing her sentence before coming to once again and knocking on the door a bit loud.

“Present my lords?” Her voice echoed down the hallway and she winced at the sound of her own words.

Desiree glanced over and then slowly stood up, she walked out the door of the pool room, and then down another hall way, whisting lightly to herself. She opened up the door to her large mansion, she knew someone had been knocking and she reached it before the butler could. As she opened it, a tall dark shadow stood before her and she grinned wickedly. "Ah... Vince, please, come inside." The tall man slowly walked inside, holding a large piece of paper. She led him over to one of the sitting rooms, letting him have a seat on one of the large black couches. "So, your plans?" she asked. Vince was very tall with dark black hair and black eyes, with a pale face and wearing a trench coat with long pants and shoes.

"You send a trained mortal into the vampire's territory. They most likely won't suspect a thing, if she plays it innocently enough. I do have a girl in mind, by the way. She would be a servant in the kingdom, I can make sure to that since I have gained their trust. But, the girl will eventually attempt to carry out spying and even, if she gets far enough, an assassination but I do know that it would be worth a shot. A few have gained information but this could go even farther IF she is trained well enough." Vince slowly handed Desiree the large paper.

"Amelia Stiller?" she raised an eyebrow and looked back down at the paper. "Mmm... then it is done." she said and smiled, standing up and pulling out a large ruby and a few gold coins and handed them to him. "You can cash them in. Report to me when you have the girl, make it quick, if you'd please."

Vladimir came to the door like a whisp and opened the large chamber portal. "Good morning, Desdemona." He welcomed the demon into his chamber and sat next to his wife, comortably resting his arm behind her. "What news have you broughten us?"

Desdemona gave a slight bow before entering the quarters; despite her peculiar manner she was never one to be rude and manners were something imprinted on her throughout life’s turns and turmoil. With her chin held high she began to speak…

“Oh that is the trouble, my lord…” she said with a slight shake of her head. “I see nothing.” She said with the utmost confusion written across her charming features. Her eyes scanned him and then his queen giving her a bow as well upon seeing her.

“But to see nothing, when I so oft see all is most frightening. To see nothing merely means that something is coming…and I don’t have a good feeling about that something.” She breathed a sigh before continuing. “The demon’s have something up their sleeves in which they don’t want revealed; only time will tell what that something is for they’ve blocked my foresight from reaching them somehow” She shook her head.

“So be it a warning against this Empire…I can sense something wretched, and I wish I had more information to offer you. I'll attempt a stronger ritual to see into it more but my guardian Alathea could not even show me any truths”

Vladimir looked troubled. "I shall train to take down a colossus then. If that's what it takes to protect my love and my empire. I shall train to match a god in combat. Nothing shall harm a bug in my kingdom without waking my vengance." Vladimir looked to the window, losing his feirce composure. "I just wish we could come to an agreement. Sign a treaty or truce. If there wasn't a need for violence then I wouldn't have to worry so hard." He took his morning flask from his chamber's cooling area and took a drink, red staining his fangs for only a second. He then handed a flask to his wife. "A drink, my dear? And you, Desdemona?" he asked, offering her wine in a glass.

"It's settled." Vladimir said. "I'm going to the Demon Kingdom. I'm going to discuss terms." He turned toward the window and stared thoughtfully out of it. He turned then, back to Desdemona and his wife who were discussing something. "What do you two have to say for this?" He asked, partially irritated with being ignored.
