Blair Ackerly's Story

Blair nodded. "Yeah when I was ten. Got up and walked it off like it didnt happen. My dad stared at me the whole way home, like he wasnt sure what he just witnessed." He said and then laughed and looked over at Forrest and about died. "Okay, okay." He said and lifted Forrest up and acted like he was going to kiss his tummy but then blew a raspberry on it instead with and evil laugh.

Forrest smiled before started to laugh, "Daddy... Bear noo! No bad Daddy Bear!" He wiggled away and wiggled a finger at him. "No no no." He laughed. Ivie walked over and got on her knees. "Come see, baby boy. Daddy Bear and I got some exciting news." She said and gently took his hands in her own. "Daddy Bear and I are going to be having a baby. You are going to be a big brother again." She said softly. Forrest looked from her to him, "you got enough babies in there." He said and pointed to the living room. "No thanks.. no more." He said. Ivie frowned a bit, "well... this one is going to stay when everyone else leaves, baby boy, and mommy can't return this one, okay?" She said softly and gently pressed his tiny hand on her belly. He looked at them and then took his hand away, "Momma ate a baby... Daddy Bear... I won't wanna be eaten." He teared up.

Ivie wanted to curl up and die, "No baby... I didn't eat a baby and I won't eat you, silly boy." She said and tried to come up with a way to explain it to him. "Daddy Bear and I loved each other soooo much and a lot that we created a magical bean in mommy's tummy that grows a baby." She said softly. Forrest blinked and looked at Blair, "I love Arrow lots and sooo much." He said.

Blair chuckled and let him go and watched as Ivie got down on her knees and told Forrest that they had exciting news. He frowned a little bit when Forrest said he didnt want another baby, but then had to try really hard not to laugh when Forrest didnt want to be eaten. He nodded along with what Ivie said. "Mhm, thats right." He said and then blinked and looked at Forrest and then gently ruffled his hair. "It only works when you're a grown up." He said with a soft chuckle before putting his hand on Ivie's tummy and then gently putting Forrests hand on it too. "So, your little baby brother or sister is just a growing in there. And dont tell your mom, but me and the little bean have had words, and it is veryy excited to meet you when he or she is born. I told the little bean all about you already and how you're already the best big brother ever to Poppy, so its very lucky to be your sibling. I think you two will be the best of friends." He said with a grin. Ivie didnt know, but when Blair couldnt sleep he would talk to the baby and tell it all about Forrest and Ivie and Dawn and the dragon.

Ivie smiled at Blair, he was so great with Forrest. Forrest's eyes lit up when Blair told him that he was talking about him to the baby and that he was going to be the best brother. He leaned down and talked to his mother's belly. "I gonna be the best big brother you ever knew. I will tell you about all the bugs I have found. Arrow... uhm... how mommy's cookin is so yummy. Daddy Bear is helping me chase scary monsters away. He is really good at that, but watch out because he tickles lots and his arms are super long. Come out soon." He said and gently tapped Ivie's belly. Ivie scooped her baby boy up and loved on him before looking at Blair, "I see you over there, trying to have secret meetings with our baby." She smiled and Forrest giggled. "Poppy is coming over! Daddy said that she needs to be near kids so she can uhm... like us?" He said trying to figure it out. "Daddy says he is getting all better. Can daddy see the magical bean baby?" He asked and she looked up at Blair before looking at her son, "Mhmm he has to be on his best behavior though." Forrest nodded happily. "Bestest!" He giggled.

Blair smiled when Forrest seemed to get excited about the baby now that he knew that he'd been telling the baby about him. He chuckled and then looked over at Ivie. "Hey, you get to spend more time with it than we do okay?I had to sneak meetings in." He said and then looked back at Forrest when he was done talking. "Alright kiddo. Story time and then we will see about getting to bed okay? Big brothers need lots of energy to be the best." He said and picked him up. "Kiss your mom goodnight." He said and waited for him to do so before taking him to bed to get him ready for when they put him down to sleep.
